Research background: The outbreak and spread of COVID-19 brought disastrous influences to the development of human society, especially the development of economy. Purpose of the article: Considering that knowing about the situations of the existing studies about COVID-19 and economy is not only helpful to understand the research progress and the connections between COVID-19 and economy, but also provides effective suggestions for fighting against COVID-19 and protecting economy, this paper analyzes the existing studies on COVID-19 and economy from the perspective of bibliometrics. Methods: Firstly, the discussion starts from the statistical analysis, in which the basic distributions of the studies on different countries/regions, different publication sources, different publication years, etc., are presented. Then, the paper shows the cooperation situations of the researchers from analyzing the related citation networks, co-citation networks and cooperation networks. Further, the theme analysis of the related studies is presented, in which the related co-occurrence networks are shown, and then the detailed analyses of the studies are introduced. Based on these analyses, the discussions about future research are presented, and finally we draw a conclusion. Findings & value added: The analyses not only present the basic situation on the research about COVID-19 and Economy, but also show the future research trends, which can provide meaningful research expectations.

Web-based stakeholders’ participation in product co-design is an emerging business model for companies. However, research on user’s online involvement in product co-design is limited. In this paper, we investigated the three major interdisciplinary academic databases Web of Science, Scopus, and ScienceDirect (data collected in May 2020), with the aim of explaining the meaning, core concepts, historical roots, and research trends of co-design. A total of 39 of the deemed relevant studies were emphatically analyzed, systematically discusses the concept implication and development status of co-design, and the key points of web-based product co-design research, as well as the future research direction.

This paper presents an overview of the field of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Though PLM has many facets, this paper mainly focus on the business drivers, requirements, concept and components behind the PLM as well as the technical foundations and the status of PLM academic research and industry solutions. Furthermore, a holistic roadmap of PLM is presented. The future research trends and challenges are finally discussed.

This paper summarizes research progress of 3D style design based on sketching, especially focuses on 3D modeling method based on sketching, 3D stroke fitting. The future research direction on multi-strokes fitting and the use of digital pen pressure and other information for style design are proposed.

Abstract This paper reviews different control methodologies applied in manufacturing environment. Since comparatively newer control methodologies like — Neural networks, Fuzzy logic, and Cerebellar model articulation controller have gained more research interests in recent years, they have been dealt in more detail. With this, we have presented application of neural network for endeffector positioning of three degree planar robot and results have been evaluated. Finally the future research trends in these areas have been discussed.

The problems to be solved in the field were suggested. It would act as the foundation in the future research of ceramic cutting tool materials.

This paper comments and analyses the research progress of the estuary sediment and ecological environment, including saltwater intrusion phenomenon and laws, sediment and ecological environment. The physical context, sediment and ecological environmental problems of the tributary bay of TGR are analyzed comparatively with those in ocean estuary. Based on the existing research and achievements, this paper puts forward that the research ideas and methods of the ocean estuary should be drawn from, and outlooks the future research works on the dynamic and ecological environmental problems in tributary bays of TGR.

In view of the toxicology and hazardous nature of the submicron particles, it is paid more and more attentions of the domestic and foreign research scholars. In this paper, we introduce the research progress on recognition, attributed and formation mechanism of submicron particles in the world. Simultaneously, the controlling technologies of submicron particles are discussed. The application tendency and the existence problems of the controlling technologies are analyzed. At last, the future research directions are put forward for submicron particles control.

Background: Space docking technology and space docking mechanism are an indispensable parts of modern complex spacecraft and important means to expand satellite functions in the future. However, there is still some technology to be broken through in the research of their buffer and locking, so that the docking mechanism can be better used in the future. Objectives: Through the introduction and discussion of the characteristics of space docking mechanism patents in recent years, some valuable conclusions are summarized, and the future research and development of space docking mechanism are prospected. Methods: This paper studied the patents of various docking mechanism, and summarized the patents and research progress of docking mechanism in space. Results: With the development of space industry, docking mechanism has become more and more important. So the docking mechanism are needed to achieve the replenishment for long-term spacecraft in orbit, personnel exchange, spacecraft maintenance, and so on. Conclusion: : By elaborating the structural characteristics of docking mechanism, the importance of docking mechanism are consulted for investigation. Through the comparison of these patents, it is concluded that weak impact docking mechanism and electromagnetic docking mechanism are the main development trends of docking institutions in the future.

Purpose In the crowd intelligence networking era, the smart connections of human, machines and things enable point-to-point trustable transactions and distributed efficient collaboration; the smart connections among government, enterprises, organizations and the public would enable active participation of the public in society management and decision-making and improve the efficiency of government management and services. All interactions among various agents can be viewed as the transaction activity. The social division of labor system drives the evolution of transaction. The transaction mode also differentiated into different patterns with the development of human society. What will be the intelligent transaction in the crowd intelligence networking era? What will be the transactions modes and rules in the crowd intelligence networking era? The answers to these questions are of great importance to the future development of transactions. Design/methodology/approach The authors review the evolution of traditional transaction and transaction modes and analyze the driving forces of it. They attempt to give the definitions of intelligent transaction and intelligent transaction mode. They also review the traditional transaction modes and rules, analyze the characteristics of the intelligent transaction and classify the intelligent transaction modes. Findings The authors find the intelligent transaction is mainly reflected in the intellectualization of transaction subject, transaction object and transaction process. They summarize the characteristics of intelligent transaction and develop four modes for the intelligent transactions based on the modularization level of the transaction objects and the quantity of transaction subjects, including the demand side and the supply side. The authors also show representative examples to further illustrate rules and features of these transaction modes and point out the potential research directions. Originality/value This study is among the first to analyze the characteristics of the intelligent transaction, and the proposed division framework of the intelligent transaction modes could not only add value to the future research of intelligent transaction modes and rules but also help to guide the transactions in the crowd intelligence network.
