Informatization of education has been going on for 30 years. During this time, a good material and technical base appeared in schools, there are repositories of e-learning resources to which teachers have access. However, it is difficult to use these e-learning resources due to their too large number and not always high level. It is advisable to introduce a system of reviews and recommendations, to conduct a comparative analysis, as well as to make reviews of resources on a particular subject/topic. In addition, the demand for e-learning resources is affected by the fact that education authorities encourage not so much the use of e-learning resources as their development by the teacher himself. In general, the load on teachers has increased instead of the promised saving of time and effort when using the e-learning resources. At the same time, many e-learning resources are not very effective, since they do not meet the requirements of cognitiveness (they contribute not to learning, but to simple memorization of the material). It is necessary to explore the process of learning new material: this will allow you to create cognitive e-learning resources and other resources that would help you with equal probability to successfully acquire new knowledge for students belonging to different psycho-types. At the initial stage of the study of any subject, it is more expedient to use the usual “paper” method, that is, a textbook and not overload the student’s brain with excessive information. Only when he has mastered the basic provisions, we can turn to e-learning resources, bearing in mind that they must be cognitive, that is, they are aimed at logical perception and rapid intuitive learning, only in this case e-learning resources can be considered effective. The conclusion is formulated that cognitiveness is the next stage of informatization of education after the stage of electronization.

The article presents data from an original study to improve the surgical treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. For this purpose, a comparative analysis of two alternate operations was performed: 1) aneurysm resection followed by aortic prosthetics; 2) aortic endoprosthetics. The scientific hypothesis is formulated that the replacement of the «classical» operations of resection of the aneurysm with «alternative» operations of endoprosthetics will lead to a fundamental decrease in the level of postoperative complications. In independent groups of patients using the compared surgical interventions, an accurate qualitative and quantitative assessment of postoperative complications was made: non-thrombotic - cardiac, pulmonary, renal and thrombotic - deep vein thrombosis and prosthetic jaw thrombosis. After the study was completed, it was found that the fundamental replacement of «classical» operations with «alternative» reliably leads to a fundamental decrease in the level of the most life-threatening complications - cardiac (acute forms of coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias), pulmonary (pneumonia, pulmonary thromboembolism, respiratory distress syndrome of adults) and renal (acute renal failure). Some exceptions were less life-threatening thrombotic complications. The results obtained have a high level of statistical significance, which allows us to recommend them for consideration in the practice of vascular surgery

Power sports have always been very popular among servicemen. This is especially evident in recent times, when such power sports, as armsport, crossfit, kettlebell lifting, powerlifting have received some development. The article presents a comparative analysis of the power capabilities of cadets who specialize in various power sports. The study involved male cadets of the 4th year of various faculties (n=53) of the Military Academy (Odessa), who in the process of training were engaged in power sports: armsport (n=12), crossfit (n=16), kettlebell lifting (n=15), powerlifting (n = 10). In addition, the results of cadets-athletes were compared with the results of cadets of the faculty of training specialists of airborne assault troops and military intelligence and special purpose, who did not attend sports sections of the academy (n=60). Analysis of the power of the cadets was carried out on the following exercises: pull-up, lifting by coup, lifting by strength on the crossbar, 24 kg kettlebell snatch, push-up on the parallel bars, push-up. The conducted researches testified to the high level of development of power qualities of cadets of all sections of academy in power sports. There was no significant difference between the results of cadets of different power sports in most exercises. It is established that the power capabilities of cadets who are engaged in various power sports are significantly better than those of cadets who are not engaged in sports. This suggests that any of the studied power sports can be an effective means of developing and improving the power opportunities of future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The article presents the results of a dynamic analysis of the satisfaction of patients diagnosed with CAVID‑19 with the quality of medical services provided remotely at the telemedicine centre in Moscow in 2020.Purpose of research. Conduct a dynamic assessment of patient satisfaction with the quality of remote medical services provided in different time periods.Material and methods. The results of an anonymous survey of 424 patients on the quality of remote medical services were dynamically evaluated. The first group (138) received medical care from 01.04 to 30.04, the second one (286) – from 01.06 to 30.06 of 2020 after the implementation of measures to improve them. Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0.Results. When analysing the results, a high level of patient satisfaction was revealed, but there was a significant (p < 0.05) difference in the level of satisfaction between the groups. The factors of connection between telemedicine services and patient satisfaction were identified, which served as the basis for organizational measures.Conclusion. Providing medical services using telemedicine technologies can be considered as one of the most effective ways to provide medical care.

The primary task of all enterprises in mining industry is to increase the durability and reliability of the mining complex. These very indicators provide nonstop minerals mining, and as a result, productivity increases. Indicators maintaining at high level can be achieved by different ways, but the most effective method is repair-in-place diagnosis of the actual technical condition of the main units and assemblies of equipment, as it is less costly and the most informative. To identify gear malfunctions, the physical and chemical analysis of the used oil is used to determine metallic impurities. A comparative analysis of wear products accumulation in rotary gears of mining excavators and gearboxes of the motor-wheel of dump trucks revealed the similarity of mathematical models for the determination of metallic impurities in used oil. The “universal” mathematical model is given in the paper; it allows to determine the actual technical condition of gearboxes for various equipment with a few assumptions. Moreover, the model takes into account various indicators of the environment, used oil, as well as the operating parameters of the equipment.

The process to locate objects in an image passes through different phases. At the forefront of these phases, and most importantly, is the edge detection. If edges in an image are identified accurately, all of the objects will be located correctly for further processing phases. Noisy images contain high-frequency contents which might be interfered with image edges that makes edge detection more difficult. In this paper, a software comparative analysis of the performance of three different edge detectors, namely, Roberts, Prewitt and Sobel, is presented. The comparative analysis is performed to check the performance robustness of the edge detectors when noise level fluctuates in the image. In addition, an embedded hardware (HW) system is developed to implement the three detectors on the Zedboard FPGA prototyping board. The purpose of this implementation is to have an embedded system for on-the-move applications where portability is desired. To exploit the new features of the Xilinx Zynq-7000 series, we partition the implementation into (1) hardware part (running on logic gates of FPGA) and (2) software (SW) part (running on ARM processor of FPGA). This heterogeneous HW/SW implementation allows for high accurate results with high speed and efficient area. Furthermore, a hardware comparative analysis of the speed and area of the detectors is presented. The evaluation is performed by using different images (with their ground truths) downloaded from the BSDS500 dataset. The tools used for FPGA implementation are MATLAB and Microsoft Visual Studio (as software tools), Vivado High-level synthesis (HLS) and Software Development Kit (SDK) (as hardware tools). The experimental results show that the Roberts detector achieves better edge detection when the noise level is higher than 40%. It is also faster and requires less capacity of logic gates among the other detectors employed in this study.

Actuality and relevance of implementation of the risk management processes in the general system of management in organizations are justified in this article. Three major issues can be pointed out as referred to the implementation of the risk management system in modern organizations, such as 1) a high level of costs combined with relatively long payback period; 2) lack of the universal approach to the implementation of the risk management procedures; and 3) difficulties in identification of perspective directions of the systems under consideration. The basic directions of development of the risk management systems in the corporate structures are defined based on the results of comparative analysis of the experience of Russian and foreign companies. The activity in the field of risk management of such corporations as “Rusgidro”, “NMLK”, the Investment Company “RUSS-INVEST”, “Severstal”, “Gazpromneft”, “Metalloinvest”, “Philips”, “Nestlé”, and “Unilever” became the object of our research. Comparative analysis of practices of implementation of the risk management system has been performed based on the following criteria: organizational structure of management, register and prioritization of risks, structure and methods of risk management, and effectiveness of the risk management systems. The results of the study allowed identifying the following basic directions of development of the risk management systems in the corporations: amending register of prioritization of risks; increasing level of integration of the risk management procedures into the basic business processes of the corporations; expanding of use of the external assessments, credit rankings, etc. in the framework of implementation of the risk management procedures; increasing level of unification of methods of risk assessment and management that finally would be a prerequisite for improving effectiveness of the risk management systems in organizations.

Destination competitiveness models reached a development level in which all the characteristics that somehow influence competitiveness were mapped, whereas without identifying which factors are decisive for competitiveness (Crouch, 2011). We used the Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) technique, adopting the domestic and international tourist inflows as criteria variables for identifying which competitiveness dimensions are decisive for Brazilian sun and sand destinations. Our results suggest that Access, Cultural Aspects, Local Economy, and Business Capacity dimensions have a greater influence on destination performance. In addition, the results indicate that it is not necessary to have a high level of development in a large number of dimensions in order to achieve higher performance. Results provide practical guidance for sun and sand destinations management.
