Tourism has become the driving force for the economy in the community, various regions have applied the pattern, and managed to have a positive impact. This condition is the background of research on the success of the community service program from the Padang State University (UNP) team in Tanah Garam Village. The study was conducted in June to November 2019, the method used was a qualitative approach. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the Head of Tourism and Culture of the City of Solok, community leaders in Tanah Garam, Pokdarwis Payo, and community members in the Payo area (Tanah Garam). Interviews were conducted in accordance with guidelines related to the success of the UNP community service program in increasing the capacity of human resources (HR) and the ability to manage Payo agrotourism, thus providing economic impact for the community. The results showed that the service program succeeded in improving the economy of the community after the ability to manage tourism was increased.

The problems faced by the children of Banjarmasin Al-Ashr Orphanage are almost the same as those faced by other orphanages in the city of Banjarmasin, namely, lack funds and personnel or volunteers who help and guide orphanage children to develop their skills and creativity as a provision in carrying out life after the completion of the orphanage. The purpose of this community service program is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have a strong and more independent motivation by providing them with the knowledge and skills they will use to prepare themselves for the future. While the target of this activity is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have design skills in making invitations, brochures, and banners as well as online businesses. The method used is training and guidance, where training is carried out with presentations and practices.

This article discusses the contribution of innovation centres in nearby neighbourhoods based on primary data. This paper involves the study of the case of Ruta N in Medellín to expose the relationship between a consolidated neighbourhood and new innovation facilities. Ruta N was founded after the implementation of a city-level policy for innovation intended to secure the economic growth of a former deprived area of the city. This innovation attracted local and international creative entrepreneurs to Medellín’s downtown but with inconsistent results. The analysis revealed that Ruta N rarely interacts with the nearby neighbourhood, thus restricting its potential to contribute to the community. Instead, it is perceived that Ruta N takes advantage of the neighbourhood to meet the needs of Ruta N users, not the other way around. As a result, community members argue that Ruta N could promote potential conflicts in the area.

Objetivo: Identificar a aplicação de técnicas de recrutamento, seleção, treinamento e desenvolvimento de pessoas e plano de cargos em academias de ginástica. Métodos: A pesquisa teve abordagem qualitativa, sendo entrevistados quatro administradores de academias na cidade de Londrina – Paraná. Para a avaliação dos dados foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Os resultados evidenciaram que todos os administradores relataram não haver um setor de recursos humanos na academia em que atuavam. Em relação a aplicação das técnicas abordadas, todos os administradores narraram utilizar métodos referentes a recrutamento, seleção, treinamento e desenvolvimento de pessoas. Entretanto, os métodos de treinamento e desenvolvimento apresentadas demonstram falta de conhecimento das técnicas por parte dos administradores. No que se refere a distribuição de cargos, três academias utilizavam métodos para a distribuição e uma academia informou não existir uma distribuição de cargos entre os funcionários. Conclusão: Conclui-se que os administradores, mesmo apresentando argumentos e aparente entendimento sobre a utilização de técnicas de recursos humanos, necessitam de maior conhecimento sobre o assunto. De fato, um conhecimento aprimorado das técnicas pode promover um crescimento organizacional constante das academias de ginástica, proporcionando serviços com melhor qualidade, atendendo as expectativas impostas pelos usuários das academias de ginástica.ABSTRACT. Application of people management techniques in gyms. Objective: Identify the application of techniques of recruitment, selection, training and development of people and plan of positions in gyms. Methods: The research had a qualitative approach, being interviewed four administrators of gyms in the city of Londrina - Paraná. For the evaluation of the data was used content analysis. Results: The results showed that all administrators reported not having a human resources sector in the gyms in which they worked. In relation to the application of the techniques, all managers reported using methods related to recruitment, selection, training and development of people. However, the training and development methods presented demonstrate a lack of knowledge of the techniques by the administrators. Regarding the distribution of positions, three gyms used methods for the distribution and one gym informed that there is no distribution of positions between the employees. Conclusion: It is concluded that managers, even presenting arguments and apparent understanding about the use of human resources techniques, need more knowledge about the subject. In fact, improved knowledge of the techniques can promote a steady organizational growth of gyms, providing better quality services, meeting the expectations imposed by the users of the gyms.

Desa Bendar dikenal sebagai desa Nelayan karena mayoritas penduduk Desa Bendar adalah nelayan dengan jumlah sebesar 55,7% atau 880 orang. Root of problem yang dihadapi oleh Desa Bendar, Kecamatan Juana, Kabupaten Pati adalah banyaknya hasil tangkapan ikan para nelayan serta sumber daya manusia yang belum terberdayakan secara maksimal, sehingga belum dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat baik secara kelompok maupun individu di Desa Bendar. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah KUB Mina Melati. Dalam menjalankan usahanya, KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati masih menerapkan manajemen tradisional. Rendahnya pengetahuan anggota KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati menjadi salah satu penyebabnya terutama dalam hal proses produksi dan pengolahan kerupuk yang baik dan manajemen pengelolaan usaha. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dan workshop teknik-teknik produksi kerupuk, serta praktik produksi kerupuk. Dengan adanya program pengabdian ini diharapkan masyarakat Desa Bendar dapat menghasilkan produksi kerupuk ikan yang memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Apabila nilai jual dari hasil pengolahan kerupuk ikan tinggi, maka penghasilan warga akan meningkat, dan selanjutnya memberi dampak kepada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Bendar dan menjadikan Desa Bendar sebagai Desa Sentra Kerupuk Ikan. Kata kunci: Desa Nelayan, Kerupuk Ikan,Pemberdayaan. Abstract Bendar Village is well- known as a Fishing Village because the majority of Bendar Village residents are fishermen with a total of 55.7% or 880 people. The root of the problem faced by Bendar Village, Juana Subdistrict, Pati Regency was the number of fish catches of the fishermen and human resources that have not been maximally empowered yet, so that they have not been able to improve the welfare of the community yet both individually and in groups in Bendar Village. The partner in this service was KUB Mina Melati. In running its business, KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati still applied traditional management. The low knowledge of members of KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati was one of the causes, especially in terms of good cracker production and processing and business management. The activities carried out by this service were training and workshops on cracker production techniques, as well as cracker production practices. With this community service program, it is hoped that the people of Bendar Village can produce fish crackers that have a high selling value. If the selling value of fish cracker processing results is high, the income of citizens will increase, and subsequently, have an impact on improving the welfare of the people of Bendar Village and making Bendar Village a Center Village of Fish Crackers. Keywords: Fishing Village, Fish Crackers, empowerment.

[Bahasa]: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan santri tentang sistem organisasi yang terdiri dari struktur organisasi, budaya organisasi, manajemen sumber daya manusia, dan tujuan organisasi; (2) meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam menyusun sistem organisasi yang baik untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, metode penugasan, metode praktik, dan analisis perbandingan pretest dan posttest. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan pengurus tentang pengelolaan organisasi berbasis sistem dengan memberdayakan struktur organisasi yang baik, budaya organisasi yang kuat, dan sumber daya manusia yang direncanakan. Dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis deskriptif rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest yang meningkat, korelasi dan signifikansi korelasi yang kuat yaitu 0,706 dan 0,000. Namun pada aspek pengaruh belum menunjukkan nilai pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai t hitung 1,220 dan sig. 0,232.; (2) meningkatnya kemampuan santri dalam menyusun kegiatan-kegiatan terkait dengan struktur organisasi, sosialisasi budaya organisasi, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, dan menentukan visi organisasi. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sistem organisasi dengan metode workshop dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan santri dalam berorganisasi sehingga membantu mereka dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. Kata Kunci: sistem organisasi; santri; pesantren [English]: The purposes of this community service program are to (1) increase students’ knowledge about the organizational system consisting of organizational structure, organizational culture, human resource management, and organizational goals; (2) improve the ability of students to compile a good organizational system which able to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. The method used was the lecture, assignment, practice, and comparative analysis of the pretest and posttest. The results of this community service are (1) the increase of students’ knowledge about managing a system-based organization by empowering a good organizational structure, strong organizational culture, and supported the human resources. It is shown by the results of the descriptive analysis where the average score of pretest and posttest get higher, strong correlation and its significance reach 0.706 and 0.000. However, the aspect of influence has not yet yield a significant value with t value of 1,220 and sig. 0.232 .; (2) the increase of students ability to compile activities related to organizational structure, socialization of organizational culture, management of human resources, and determining the organization's vision. The results of this community service reveal that the organization's training system using the workshop method can improve the knowledge and abilities of students in the organization to help them achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. As part of community-engaged educational partnerships, students are paired with community members in instructor-focused activities linked to an academic curriculum.  Scholars widely agree that this type of approach can significantly improve the learning experience for students while simultaneously having a positive impact on the community.  As faculty in higher education implement this pedagogical tool, it is a natural progression for it to expand into online classrooms.  In particular, while there is a growing body of research related to community engagement in online healthcare and science-related fields, less research exists on the incorporation of community engagement in other types of online pre-professional courses.  This paper explores student perceptions in online pre-professional undergraduate courses in the legal studies and human resources fields in which community engagement projects were utilized.  These experiences should lead to a deeper understanding of the benefits and challenges of community-engaged online classrooms and give guidance for developing future projects.

This study aims to find out and describe the implementation of garden management policies in the City of Palangka Raya through Regional Regulation No. 03 of 2006 in order to create useful gardening conditions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In this case, the researcher wants to describe and also explain the phenomena that occur related to gardening problems that are still lacking in management. The primary data source of this research is the people of the City of Palangka Raya and the Office of Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Housing. The results of this study address this shows that there is still low awareness and willingness of the community to participate together in maintaining and managing parks. In addition, the communication, supervision and human resources factors that are owned by the related Office as the implementation of the policy to the public is felt to have not run optimally

<pre><em><span>This study aims to test and prove the influence of human resource competencies, implementing commitments, implementing regulations, and the quality of training on compliance with government regulation number 71 of 2010 regarding fixed assets. The population in this study were all financial management apparatus in the Regional Devices Organization in the City Government of Bengkulu. The data used in this study are primary data, which was obtained by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The sample in this study amounted to 146 respondents, data analysis was performed using SPSS version 22. Hypothesis testing used multiple linear analysis. The results showed that the competence of human resources, implementing commitment, the application of regulations, and the quality of training proved to have a positive effect on compliance with government regulation number 71 of 2010 regarding fixed assets.</span></em></pre>

The development of the Chinese city site area as a tourism potential in the city of Medan is very important considering the city of Medan does not yet have natural tourism objects that are well managed. The type of study used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach where research is carried out to create a tourism development using the Collaborative Management (Co-Management) method. To obtain data and to deepen the implementation of collaborative management, in-depth interviews were conducted with key informants and questionnaires so that the data needed in this study was complete. Data obtained in the field, both secondary data and primary data will be compiled, presented and analyzed with a qualitative approach in the form of exposure which will then be analyzed in accordance with the research problem undertaken. The results of research conducted show that the community has been involved in the development of tourism in the Chinese city site area. But the community is still walking alone in the development of tourism. With the concept of collaborative management, it will certainly be in developing tourism that is more focused and more targeted as desired. From this research it can be concluded that the area of the Chinese city site has a huge opportunity to be developed into the tourism sector that can provide benefits for both the government, the community and the parties involved in developing tourism.
