Along with the development of science and technology, traditional games that can develop children’s skills still exist. One of them is dakon. This research is a classroom research aimed to develop arithmetic skills at Raudhatul Athfal Al Kamal 1 Palaran Samarinda. The research subjects were 12 students with 6 males and 6 females. The traditional game dakon focuses on introducing number 1-20, mentioning the number order 1-20, and sorting numbers of dakon. This research was carried out through two cycles with three meetings each cycle. The result of research shows that before the treatment the students’ skill is 0%. After the treatment, the skill on the cycle 1 is 31% with developing criteria. On the cycle 2, the skill is 77% with well-developed criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the traditional game dakon can develop the students’ arithmetic skills of Raudhatul Athfal Al Kamal 1 Palaran, Samarinda.Key words: arithmetic skill, Dakon, traditional game

Interest in learning is one important factor that determines student success in learning. Low student interest in learning is associated with their ability to master the concept of summing whole numbers. This study aims to foster students' interest in learning mathematics through makkudendeng traditional game. The research method is design research starting from the preliminary design, design experiment, and retrospective analysis. The research subjects were students in grade II primary school. The results of this study conclude that the makkudendeng traditional game, which is used as a learning resource in learning the addition of whole numbers, has relevance to the indicators of learning interest, which include: pleasure in learning, interest in learning, attention, and involvement in learning. It is because students learn while playing. So, the makkudendeng traditional game can be a solution to foster students' interest in learning mathematics.

This article aimed to determine the application of learning-gradual based education through traditional games as a learning medium and to find out the strengths and weaknesses of implementing traditional games. This type of research is qualitative. The research subjects consisted of school principals, teachers, and students at MTS Miftahul Huda 2 Palangka Raya. Data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation, and documentation. The concept of education learning-gradual (LEGAL) combines the concept of learning gradually through traditional games as a medium of primary school learning in Miftahul Huda 2 Palangka Raya. In a traditional game, it has cultural worth and national character consists of mutual cooperation, cooperation, hard work, and democracy and can improve other aspects of child advancing, namely motoric, cognitive, emotional, language, social, spiritual, ecological as well as worth and moral aspects. The weakness is teachers struggle to divide the playgroup because students storm and run. It is hoped that teachers can implement traditional games as a learning medium, so that a nation's generation that loves local wisdom, culture, and morality is a relationship. The researcher conducted a classroom action research to improve students gross motor skill, especially for the physical motor skill such as strength and balance through traditional game jumping rope. This study was conducted in group B at Tunas MekarPlus Playgroup and involved thirteen students as the research subjects. Moreover, two cycles were applied in this study with three meeting in each cycle. To collect the data, observation and documentation were employed. In addition, the data was analyzed through mean score analysis by determining the progress of students’ gross motor skill in each cycle which then displayed in table for better understanding. Having analyzed the data, students’ average score in cycle 1 was 47% and then increased into 80% in cycle 2. It shows that students’ gross motor skill has developed as expected, i.e.: ability to jump. Regarding to the strength, students have reached the targeted standard, i.e.; 60%-79%, classified in ‘develop as expected’.

Mathematics is one material that most students do not like. In addition to being less attractive, elementary school students also tend to have grades among their peers. This shows the lack of attention applied in learning mathematics. This study aimed to analyze the relationship and influence of cooperative characters with student responses by using traditional games in learning. This type of research uses quantitative methods with the type of comparative research. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is random sampling. The research subjects in this study were 120 students. The results obtained are that the cooperative character in the traditional game of Congklak is superior, which is in a very good percentage (60%). The student's response to the traditional game of congklak was very good (55%). The results of the correlation test of the cooperative character of students in traditional games, namely, there is a relationship between the character of cooperation with students' responses to the traditional game of congklak in mathematics. It can be said that there is a relationship and influence of the character of cooperation with student responses. The implication of this research is that playing traditional games in learning can increase students' interest in learning mathematics.

The lack of training models and training creativity in creating traditional game-based training models for kenshi to improve the basic techniques of kempo becomes problems in this study. The purpose of this research is to produce a model of basic martial arts techniques of kempo through traditional games for kenshi beginners. This research is a research and development (R&D) research which was adapted into 8 steps in research: 1). Field news collection 2). Breakdown of the news that has been collected 3). Elaborating initial creation 4). Expert validation and revision 5). Small scale trial 6). Large-scale trial 7). Making the final product 8). Product effectiveness test. The small-scale trial subjects of 20 beginners kenshi were taken from 2 dojos, namely the Panjatan Junior High School dojo and the Amikom dojo. The large-scale test subjects totaling 45 beginners kenshi were taken from 3 dojos, namely Balong, Triharjo, and SD Gunung Kidul. The subjects in this study came from 5 dojos in Perkemi DIY. Data were collected through interviews, distributing questionnaires, field notes, evaluation, and assessment rubrics for beginner kenshi. The results of this study are in the form of training models for basic techniques of kempo martial arts through traditional games for beginner kenshi, and there are five training models: 1. gobak sodor, 2. yeye, 3. pahtil catfish, 4. zogdag, 5. stick dance. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the traditional game-based kempo martial arts training model for kenshi beginners is feasible to use. The author's recommendation to other prospective researchers is to examine traditional games in an approach with other disciplines and use professional research subjects in other sports.

This study aims to survey traditional games in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research is a qualitative research with the main procedure involving purposeful sampling with research subjects namely children, students, local government and local traditional leaders. The results of this study show that there are several types of traditional games in Boalemo Regency, namely Pa'I, Neka, Redi, Cur-cur Pal, Tera, Palapudu, Moyo, Tenggedi Lo Buawu, Alanggaya Molo'u, Pohayato Lo Dungo Tangi Lo Bindalo, Kura -kura, Tenggedi Lo Wawohu, Wayang Buang-Buang, Puppet Poko-Poko, Kuti-kuti, Use, Ponti, Jump Rope. Meanwhile, traditional game sports in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province, namely Langga. The conclusion is that there are eighteen traditional games and one traditional sport in Boalemo Regency.

This study aims to overcome the bad social-emotional problems of children as well as to invite blind children to participate in playing and not forget to prioritize a special design aesthetic for blind children. The research results found are the results of primary data collection from observations of daily activities of the subject as well as interviews with the subject, teacher, and subject's parents and secondary data obtained from literacy results from related research sources. Research subjects were taken from students of SLB YPAB TEGALSARI SURABAYA. The research method used is to examine primary data and secondary data so that in finding these products it is found from the combined results of the analysis of the behavior patterns of blind children with design analysis, namely material / material, shape, color, and system. In the final result, a traditional game innovation is found that is inspired by a chess board that is often played in schools and modified into a snake and ladder board game for the blind. Abstract: This research aims to describe locomotor motion in the traditional game of Block in Group B1 PAUD Negeri Pembina 1 Ternate City students. This type of research is qualitative research. The research subjects were 4 students of group B1 in PAUD Negeri Pembina 1 Ternate city. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews with 2 teachers. Analysis of the research data used is a qualitative analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction and data verification/conclusion. This study has 1 variable, namely locomotor motion in the hitch game in which there are the following indicators: 1) changing places. 2) running and 3) jumping. The results showed that there was locomotor movement in the traditional game of Block played by students at PAUD Negeri Pembina 1 Ternate City. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by researchers of locomotor motion in the traditional game of Block played by students at PAUD Negeri Pembina 1 Ternate City is developing very well, this is evidenced by the results of direct observations by researchers who show that 4 students can play the blockade game and perform locomotor movements very well. The development of good locomotor motion in early childhood can be done by holding a traditional game development program because it is not only good for children's but can also participate in preserving traditional games that are rarely played by children today. <p><em>Recently, traditional game among students, particularly gapyak, have begun to fade and are forgotten due to the times. Gapyak has been replaced by modern technology-based games that have a high level of addiction, resulting in changes in student behavior and habits. They tend to be less socializing with people around. As a result, students lack of communication and collaboration in daily life. This research to foster communication and collaboration of students in SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo. The research subjects were 27 grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo. The object of the research is communication and student collaboration in the game Gapyak. The research design is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation sheets and interview sheets which are then described. The results showed that the traditional game Gapyak in communicating "good" criteria with a percentage of 80%, and in cooperation the criteria "good" with a percentage of 83%. This can be seen from observations that show that students are able to communicate, cooperate, and responsible.</em></p>

The oldest educational model in Indonesian islamic school, before the advent of formal education. Islamic boarding schools are representative of the needs of the community itself. Islamic school itself develops along with the development of the surrounding community with local wisdom (local genius). Therefore pesantren develops with their own uniqueness as a form of response to the fulfillment of the needs of Stakeholders.This study aims to reveal the development of the peculiarities of boarding  school education, with research subjects Baitul Arqom Balung boarding school Jember. The focus of the research study is a) What is the caregiver's view of education in Islamic boarding schools ?, b) What are the caregiver's views on the development of science and technology, political demands and stakeholders, and c) What activities are carried out in developing the characteristics of the Islamic boarding school ?. The results of this study reveal: 1) That the caregiver's view of education in pesantren is: a) education in the pesantren must be open, b) Education in islamic school for all groups, c) Education dipesantren to think freely and remain spiritually islamic school, 2) view of caregivers Baitul Arqom Balung Jember boarding school on the development of science and technology, social and political changes anddemands stakeholder: that is positive and open by showing: a) Updates in terms of teaching and learning methods in pesantren, including the use of information technology access, b). Updates in terms of content of curriculum content. including teaching general science, especially technology, and c) Renewing pesantren as a center of communitydevelopment. Including equipping students with various scientific disciplines and skills in entering the modern world while still holding on to the spiritual demands, Islamic law and morals. 3) The form of educational activities developed as an effort to develop specialities in the Baitul Arqom Balung Jember Islamic boarding school, among others: a) Muadalah education activities, b) non-formal educational activities, for example: English language development, Arabic language development, scout activities, and activities other units
