Efforts to improve caregiver’s knowledge on hallucination is by providing an education the caregivers. Enhancing such knowledge can be carried out by different methods, include lecture and watching video methods. The purpose of the present research was to compare the effectiveness of lecture  and watching video method in enhancing caregiver’s knowledge on hallucination.          The research used a quasi-experiment method with a pretest and posttest group design, with the research sample was 60. The sampling technique used was a total sampling. The scores of caregiver’s knowledge were determined by a questionnaire of knowledge on hallucination that was self-developed by validity test (0.707) and reliability test (0.968). The data obtained was then tested by using Independent Sample T-test, Mann-Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test.          The result of pretest of caregiver’s knowledge before the intervention showed that there was no difference between intervention and control group (p-value=0.624), while result of posttest of caregiver’s knowledge after the intervention showed that there was a significant difference between lecture group and video group (p-value=0.000). The research findings revealed that there was a significant increase in the scores of knowledge for both methods (p-value=0.000), but the increase of video group’s knowledge score was higher (4.23) than that of lecture group (2.57).          The conclusion of the research was that wathing video method was more effective than lecture method in enhancing caregiver’s knowledge so that video can be used as an alternative method for mental health education.

This research is motivated by the low activity and learning outcomes of students in MAN Kubu Raya, especially in Hydrocarbon Material of Chemistry Subject due to lack of students’ understanding about the concept of Hydrocarbon. Therefore, it is needed to use a learning media in accordance with the characteristics of the material and students who are expected to improve students’ learning activities and outcomes. This research aimed to find out whether there were differences in students’ activities and learning outcomes also the effectiveness of using the Chemistry Secret Card Media (KARAMI) on the activities and learning outcomes between students taught by using KARAMI and students taught without using the media. This current research was in form of Quasy Experimental design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique that were XI Science 2 as the experimental class and XI Science 3 as the control class. The technique of collecting data in this research used observation sheets, learning outcomes tests (pretest-posttest) and interviews. Based on the data analysis by using non parametric statistical test, U-Mann Whitney, showed that there were differences in learning activities, 0,00

This research is motivated by the low learning results obtained by students in the Mathematics and Civics Lessons. Besides, the SD N Mulyoharjo 01 Jepara've never apply learning by using themes or thematic learning in students. To improve the learning outcomes of this environmental theme used instructional media Tree Couple. In the process of learning to use media Tree Couple pemikirannyasecara students can train quickly and precisely. The study was aimed to determine students' mastery learning on environmental themes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of media Tree Couple itself. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all students of class II SD N Mulyoharjo 01 Jepara. The sample in this study amounted to 79 students with a saturated sampling technique and design research is pretest-posttest control design.Based on the analysis of research data that has been implemented is obtained t = 3.779 and t table = 1.667 so thitung> ttabel then Ho is rejected. the students who completed the experimental class were 36 students and control class is 20 students. This may imply that the media Tree Couple learning can improve student learning outcomes environmental themes. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the results of student learning theme of the environment by using instructional media Tree Couple more effective and can achieve mastery learning students. Suggestions submitted that teachers should use instructional media Tree Couple because it is more effective and able to achieve mastery learning students.

The needed of Iron Tablet in pregnancy was increase than mother who not pregnant.  That  cause of  high metabolism at the pregnancy for formed of  fetal organ and energy. One of effort for prevent anemia in mother pregnant with giving the Iron tablet and vitamin c. The reason of  this research in 4 June – 11 July 2014 is for compare the effect of  iron tablet suplementation with and without vitamin C toward Hemoglobin level in mother pregnant With Gestational Age Of 16-32 Weeks In Desa Keniten Kecamatan Mojo Kabupaten Kediri. This research method using comparative analytical.  Research design type of Quasy Eksperiment that have treatment group and control group. Treatment group will giving by Iron tablet and 100 mg vitamin C, and control group just giving by iron tablet during 21 days. Population in this research are all of mother pregnant with Gestational Age Of 16-32 Weeks with Sampling technique is  cluster random sampling is 29 mother pregnant. Comparison analysis of  iron tablet suplementation effect with and without vitamin C toward Hemoglobin level in mother pregnant With Gestational Age Of 16-32 Weeks, data analysis using Mann Whitney U-test and the calculated U value (44,5) less than U-table (51). So there was difference of iron tablet suplementation effect with and without vitamin C toward Hemoglobin level in mother pregnant With Gestational Age Of 16-32 Weeks Therefore, the addition of vitamin C on iron intake is needed to increase the uptake of iron tablets. When the amount of iron uptake increases, the reserves of iron in the body will also increase, so as to prevent anemia in pregnant women; Keywords : Iron Tablet (Fe), Vitamin C, Hemoglobin level, Mother Pregnant

The purpose of this study is to answer if there is a reasonable difference on academical success of students who get education with traditional and RME approach question on “Teaching geometrical objects to 8th grade students” subject. Study group consists of 47 students which contains 21 experimental and 16 control group from “Ordu Anadolu İmam Hatip High School Project School” in Altinordu, Ordu. Experimental and control group have same academical success level, as the school which this study has runned is a school which accepts students with an exam only. After the experimental and control groups were created, a 25 question pre-test was performed to understand the level of knowledge of the group regarding geometrical objects. The same test was performed on the same groups 8 weeks later as retention test. To determine opinions of the students in experimental group regarding RME and related learning activities, semi-structured interviews are conducted. The data obtained from the pretest, posttest and retention tests were analyzed with t-test for independent samples and t-test for dependent samples and variance analysis for mixed measurements with 0.05 significance level. According to the results, it is seen that learning activities prepared according to RME approach are much more effective than learning activities prepared according to the traditional approach on students’ academic success.
