Twelve bulls within the age period 113—294 days were used in an experiment in which the effect of formaldehyde treatment of protein on the live weight gain and feed utilization was studied. Their rations were a combination of a protein concentrate mixture, barley, mineral and vitamins according to nutrient requirements for a growth rate of 1000 g/animal/day. Oats and barley straw was available ad libitum. In the experimental group the protein concentrate mixture was treated with formaldehyde, 0,88 g/100 g crude protein, whereas in the control group it was untreated. The proportion of treated protein was 45 % of the total protein in the diet. The study involved feeding trials, digestibility and nitrogen balance trials, and rumen fluid investigations. The live weight gain of the bulls in the experimental group was 10 % better than that of the control group. The amount of feed used per kg live weight gain was 8 % less in the former group than in the latter. The differences in both cases were, however, not significant (P > 0,05). The differences in the digestibility and nitrogen balance and in the pH, ammonia and VFA concentrations of the rumen fluid between the groups were small and insignificant (P > 0,05).

The present study was carried out to assess the effect of concentrate on growth performances of both male and female lamb. For this purpose twenty four (12 male and 12 female) lamb aged about 5-6 months were selected and divided into three groups (Treatment group T1, T2 and control group T0). In each group having 4 males and 4 females lamb, all lambs were supplied green roughages ad-libitum, control group T0 was allowed no concentrate and treatment group T1 & T2 were supplied 100 gm & 200 gm concentrate mixture respectively for 90 days experimental period. Animals were weighed at 15 days interval. Significant differences of live weight gain among these three groups were found. Allowing 100 gm (T1) concentrate mixture along with green grass improved growth rate in both male and female lamb. Increasing of concentrate supplementation improved live weight gain (found in T2 group). Total live weight gain (kg) and average daily live weight gain (g/d) were 4.25±0.52 kg and 47.20±5.75 g, 5.38±0.83 kg and 59.73+9.17 g and 7.00±0.54 kg and 77.78±6.00 g in male lambs and 2.25±0.21 kg and 25.00±2.34 g, 3.18±0.32 kg and 35.39±3.63 g and 3.81±0.24 kg and 42.33±2.77 g in female lambs for the To, T1 and T2 groups respectively. Live weight was significantly (P<0.05) higher in male than female lambs. The results showed that 100 g concentrate supplementation with green roughages improved growth rate in lambs (male and female) under stall feeding condition. Increase of supplementation might improve nutrients supply to promote higher live weight gain.Asian J. Med. Biol. Res. June 2016, 2(2): 274-278

The reaction of the organism of broiler ducklings to the introduction of the probiotic additive "Lactobifadol" into the organism when reared up to 7 weeks of age was investigated. A positive effect was achieved to increase the live weight of the experimental poultry by 5.0 % (p <0.5), the average feed consumption per 1 kg of live weight gain in the group of broiler ducklings fed with Lactobifadol feed was 4.7 % less when compared to intact poultry. The dynamics of feed consumption per 1 kg of live weight gain in the first three weeks of rearing was descending, and from 4 weeks of age until the end of rearing, fodder consumption increased significantly. For 6 weeks of growing, the average consumption of compound feed per head per day in the control group of broiler ducklings was 157.5 g, in the experimental group – 158.5 g per 1 bird/day. The inclusion of "Lactobifadol" in the diet to a certain extent stimulates the processes of erythrocytopoiesis, providing, within the physiological norm, an increase in the level of hemoglobin and the number of leukocytes.

Under the environments of the Tyumen region a scientific and research work has been carried out, including an assessment of the influence of antimicrobial substances: colloidal silver, antibiotics and organic acids on the body of broiler chickens. The purpose of the work was to evaluate the influence of antimicrobial substances on the productivity of broiler chickens. The research and laboratory experiment has been carried out in the laboratory of the Northern Trans-Ural Scientific and Research Institute of the Tyumen Scientific Center of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences on chickens of the cross ArborAykrs+. Chickens at the daily age have been distributed according to the principle of balanced groups-analogues. The period of chicken rearing was 35 days, during the same period the analysis of the studied antimicrobial substances has been performed. The composition of the test substances was included colloidal silver 10 μg/l, antibiotics (Pulsoceril, Enronite) and the mixture of organic acids (Agrofeed) at the dose of 0,4 ml/l. The results have shown that chickens that have been watered colloidal silver had the gain of live weight for the period of rearing 1850,94 g or lower than chickens in the control group. At the same time, broiler chickens with watering of antibiotics and organic acids exceeded the control group’s analogues. For example chickens of the 1st experimental group where colloidal silver has been watered at the dose of 10 mcg/l every day had the live weight gain during the rearing period lower by 15,56 g and the average daily live weight gain of 0,45 g than chickens of the control group. At the same time broilers of the 2nd experimental group (with antibiotics) and the 3rd experimental group (with organic acids) had the higher gain of live weight during the rearing period by 56,61 and 95,23 g, respectively, compared to the control group. The average daily gain diff erences were 1,62 and 2,72 g. Indicators of morphological and biochemical composition of blood of experimental groups of broiler chickens indicated that they were within the limits of the corresponding physiological norms. At the same time, there were some changes on the part of both red and white blood, which seems to be related not only to the body’s response to feeding, but also to the biochemical processes within the body.

AbstractEighty castrated male lambs were allocated to either an initial slaughter group (no. = 16) or one of eight treatment groups (no. = 8). Ammoniated barley straw was offered ad libitum. This was supplemented with sodium (Na) propionate (0 or 20 g/day), formaldehyde-treated casein, (protected casein, 0 or 50 g/day) and/or calcium (Ca) salts of long-chain fatty acids (Ca soap, 0 or 30 g/day), as a factorial design. Measurements were made of food intake, live-weight gain and wool growth, rumen fluid parameters and changes in body composition over a period of 155 days.Food intake (g dry matter per kg live weight) was lower in the groups supplemented with Ca soap and Na propionate. Fleece-free live-weight gain was increased by supplementation with protected casein and Ca soap, but was not affected by Na propionate. Supplementation with protected casein increased wool yield. Adjusted means for water, protein and ash content of the body (adjusted to mean fleece/digesta-free body weight at slaughter of 27·1 kg) were affected significantly by the second-order interaction between the supplements. Adjusted body water and protein mass were lower when Na propionate was given alone or with Ca soap and protected casein. Fat mass tended to be higher under those conditions. Supplementation with Ca soap increased adjusted fat and gross energy contents and decreased adjusted protein and water mass. Supplementation with protected casein decreased total body fat and increased adjusted protein mass in the body. The partitioning of water, protein, fat, ash and energy between the carcass and non-carcass residues was affected to a small extent also. These results demonstrate interactive effects of the supplements used, on nutrient partitioning in lambs offered straw-based diets.

The results of the studies on the determination of the optimal dose of the probiotic additive “Evitalia” (PAE) for the quails of the Texas breed have been presented in the article. The experiments were conducted on the quails aged 1–35 days. The object of the research was the probiotic additive “Evitalia” that consisted of eight components (the strains of lactic acidmicroorganisms, macro- and microelements). The subject of the investigation was the influence of PAE on the growth, preservation, the morphological composition and biochemical indices of blood. The studies were carried out in the following conditions of microclimate and sanitary regime: the air temperature in the pens-cages was 16–18 ºC in the autumn and winter period that was 5–7 ºC lower than it was provided by the standard; in spring the temperature was 23–15 ºС that was lower than it was provided by the standard (29–35 ºС). The concentration of carbon dioxide ranged within 0.20–0.25 % (2.0–2.5 l/m3), ammonia – 12–13.4 mg/m3, the general contamination of the air by microflora was 50–60 thousand KOE/m3. The experiments were conducted on the four groups of quails, 60 quails in each group. The quails of the control group were fed by water without PAE, the probiotic at the dose of 7 mg/500 ml of water was given to the quails of the experimental group 1 (E-1), 9 mg of probiotic/500 ml water received the birds of the experimental group 2 (E-2) and the quails of the experimental group 3 (E-3) were given the probiotic at the dose of 11 mg/500 ml water. The positive influence of the probiotic additive “Evitalia” on the growth and the body live weight gain of the quails was observedin the experimental groups as compared to the quails of the control group. The trustworthy increase in the growth and live weight gain of the quails was detected on the 7-, 14-, 21-, 35-day of their life (Р < 0.05), especially in the quails that received PAE at the dose of 9 mg (E-2). The quails of the experimental group 2 exceeded the others by the average daily live weight gains. The growth intensity of the quails in the experimental group 2 was 6.43 % higher than that of the control one, higher by 3.47 % and 5.57 % than in the experimental groups 1 and 3, respectively. The preservation of the quails in the control group was lower by 4.8 – 5.1 % as compared to the quails in the experimental groups. By the data on the growth of the body live weight, the composition and biochemical indices of blood of the quails it can be concluded that the optimal dose of the probioticadditive “Evitalia” is 9 mg/500 ml water that activates hematopoesis and stimulates the growth and development of quails.

The article explores hematological and biochemical parameters of blood, dynamics of live weight gain of young cattle of black-and-white breed when being fed feeding of a fodder additive. The experiment was conducted under conditions of dairy complex Priamurye of Tambov district of Amur region in 2017-2018. The researchers arranged experimental groups of calves by means of similar pairs taking into account age, live weight and physiological condition. There were three groups of animals arranged, one control group and two experimental ones. Each group included 10 calves aged 12 months. The conditions of young cattle keeping were similar. The control group calves were fed with basic diet at the farm, the 1st experimental group received iodine, cobalt and selenium in mineral form, whereas the 2nd experimental group received the same elements in helated (organic) form. At the end of the experiment, the coefficients of digestibility of crude protein, crude fat, nitrogen-free extractives and crude fiber were determined on the basis of the data on the amount of nutrients consumed and isolated by animals with feces. When microelements in mineral and helated forms were included in the basic diet of young cattle, microelements in organic form had a positive effect on hematological and biochemical parameters of blood of calves of the 2nd experimental group. Application of elements in organic form in the diets of young cattle increased digestibility coefficients of nutrients. This contributed to live weight gain, average daily and absolute growth of animals in the 2nd experimental group.

Complex researches on studying of efficiency of use of a premix in which the filler was mustard protein-containing feed concentrate “Gorlinka” as a part of compound feeds for replacement pullets and laying hens have been carried out. Its influence on digestibility and digestibility of nutrients of diets, hatchable qualities of eggs, morphological and biochemical parameters of blood of experimental poultry, economic efficiency of production have been studied. It has been found that the input of the feed to young poultry of the experimental group of the studied premix contributed to a more complete digestion and use of nutrients. According to the results of weighing experimental pullets to 150-day age in the control group the live weight was 1719,23 g, and the average daily gain was 7,83 g, in the experimental group the live weight of the pullets was 1775,25 g, and the average daily gain was 8,74 g, which exceeded the indicator of the control group, respectively, by 3,26 % (P > 0,99) and 11,62 % (P > 0,95). Feed expenditures per 1 kg of live weight gain of poultry in the experimental group were lower than in the control group by 3,73 %, this allowed to obtain additional net income by saving the cost of feed per 1 kg of live weight gain of poultry 1,86 rubles. The economic effect in the experimental group of replacement pullets during the experiment reached 627,75 rubles. When calculating feed expenditures per 1 kg of egg mass, the following results have been obtained: in the control group this figure was 2,18 kg, which was higher than in the experimental group by 0,12 kg. Thus, the input of the experimental premix into feed for laying hens of the parent herd contributed to the increase in egg production and egg weight, as well as a reduction in feed expenditures by 10 eggs. It has been established that the experimental group was superior in all indicators of quality assessment of daily chicks of the control group, which received the premix based on sunflower oil cake as part of the feed. It has been received the chicks in the experimental group 257 heads, and that 14 heads more than in the control group. The chicks of the experimental group surpassed the chicks of the control group in the live weight of one chicken by 0,52 g, and substandard chickens in this group were less by 0,67 %. At an average realizable value of 1000 eggs was 9000 Rub, gross income in experimental group was higher than in control by 0,81 %, which resulted in additional net income from sale of eggs 2916 Rub. Economic eff ect through the use of the premix made up 3782,2 Rub.

Rearing of replacement young animals in particular of calves based on the scientific notion of development of the organism, knowledge of age-specific physiology of digestion, metabolism of nutrients and needs them in the process of ontogenesis animals. The main task in the development and use of new effective feed additives is to increase the growth energy and livability of young cattle. One of the most reliable tools in this case are probiotic drugs of the new generation. Probiotics in animals activate digestion; strengthen non-specific immunity, which is the result of normalization of the microbiocenosis of the gastrointestinal tract. The purpose of this work was to study the possibility and effectiveness of using a multi-factorial microbiological drug Monosporin produced by Biotechnagro LLC (Krasnodar) in feeding of heifers. In the diets of heifers of experimental groups, the probiotic feed additive Monosporin has been used in quantities of 3,0 g/head/day (the 2nd experimental group) and 5,0 g/head/day (the 3rd experimental group). Heifers of the 1st control group did not receive this additive. It has been found that the expenditures of concentrated feed in heifers of the 2nd experimental group was lower by 3,5 %. Their herdmates of the 3rd experimental group spent concentrates per 1 kg of live weight gain by 5,4 % less compared to the 1st control group. In heifers of the 3rd experimental group have been received 5 g/head/day of probiotic feed additive of multivariate action Monosporin, feed expenditures per unit of live weight gain were the lowest. According to the results of research, it can be assumed that the use of the studied feed additive in these dosages contributes to the better use of metabolic energy and nutrients in the diet when rearing heifers.

The data obtained in the experiment on young cattle using various doses of granular potash as a feed additive in the diets are presented. The experiment took place in two stages: the first stage was carried out on young cattle at the age of 2 4 months, the second stage 4 6 months. For each stage three groups of calves were formed on the basis of analogues taking into account live weight and health status: control group and two experimental ones. 24monthold calves of one experimental group were added 1 kg of the other experimental group 2 kg of granular potash per 1 ton of mixed feed. Calves 46 months of age were added respectively 2 kg and 4 kg per 1 ton of mixed feed. It was found that the daily live weight gain of 2 4 month old calves was higher in the experimental groups by 1.9 and 2.8 respectively. The use of feed additive for calves 46 months of age with a rate of application of 2 kg and 4 kg per 1 ton in mixed feed has increased the daily live weight gain by 3.1 and 4.4 respectively. The use of granular potash in the rations of calves had a positive effect on the biochemical parameters of the blood of animals, activated protein metabolism and normalized its fractional composition, increased the content of calcium, phosphorus and potassium. The additional income from the sale of young animals in the experimental groups of different ages compared to the control amounted to 86.25 122.5 and 164.44 228.88 rubles respectively.

The purposes of determining the influence of the light and sexing on growth performance and slaughter results atyoung quails from Balotesti population, was organized an experiment on 150 quails, betwen age of 28 and 70 days. The chicks were divided into two groups (control and experimental), and growth and slaughter performance were determined separately by sex. Have studied 2 lighting programs, a program of continous lighting with photoperiod duration of 16 hours (16 L + 8 N, control group) and a program with lighting with asymetric hours intervals with photoperiod duration of 16 hours (10L+2N+6L+6N, experimental group).Males and females from the experimental group were recorded average performance of growth high during the period 28 - 70 days. Live weight at age of 70 days was higher with 7.54 %, average weight gain was higher with 14.86 % and feed conversion rate was lower with 13.51 % at males from experimental group compared to males from the control group. Also, the live weight at the age of 70 days was higher with 18.09 %; average weight gain was higher with 35.12 %, while feed conversion rate was reduced with 30.08 % on females from the experimental group compared to females from the control group. The results of the slaughter at 70 days were superior in the caseof females from the both groups versus males. The average weight of the carcase was higher with 17.53 % in case of the females than that of males from the experimental group, and the carcase yield was 65.37 % at the females and 65.56 % for males. Also, the average weight of the carcase was higher with 5.08 % in case of females compared to that males from the control group, and the carcase yield was 64.20 % to females 66.70 % on males.Superior results recorded in the case of females and males from the experimental group recommended the program of lighting with asymmetric hours intervals in the growth of youth quail. Also, the higher slaughter results recorded in the case of females of the two groups recommended them in the meat production through a broiler of quail that combine advantages in the production of both males and females.
