RESUMOObjetivo: Realizar o mapeamento das competências de técnicos de enfermagem que atuam em uma unidade de internamento clínico de um hospital público do município de Foz do Iguaçu – Paraná. Método: Pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, realizado em etapas: análise documental das competências requeridas, entrevista semiestruturada e mapeamento de competências. A coleta de dados ocorreu em abril e maio de 2019. Resultados: Foram entrevistados 27 técnicos de enfermagem. A partir de questões norteadoras, emergiram ideias centrais, como: desenvolvimento das técnicas básicas de enfermagem; realização de atividades administrativas e necessidade de busca por aperfeiçoamento profissional. Conclusão: A identificação das competências descritas no perfil profissiográfico divergem com àquelas expressas pelos técnicos de enfermagem; assim como das competências técnicas expressas não foram encontradas como requeridas pela instituição na análise do perfil profissiográficos. Espera-se que o mapeamento de competências possa vir auxiliar as instituições hospitalares a elaborar novas estratégias de desempenho dos profissionais e reestruturar a atuação de cada.Palavras-chave: Competência Clínica; Unidade de Internação; Unidade Hospitalar de Clínica Médica. ABSTRACTObjective: To perform the mapping of the skills of nursing technicians who work in a clinical inpatient unit of a public hospital in the city of Foz do Iguaçu - Paraná. Method: Qualitative research, carried out in stages: documentary analysis of the required skills, semi-structured interview and skills mapping. Data collection took place in April and May 2019. Results: 27 nursing technicians were interviewed. From guiding questions, central ideas emerged, such as: development of basic nursing techniques; carrying out administrative activities and the need to seek professional improvement. Conclusion: The identification of the competencies described in the professional profile differs from those expressed by nursing technicians; as well as the technical skills expressed were not found as required by the institution in the analysis of the professional profile. It is hoped that the mapping of competencies can help hospital institutions to develop new performance strategies for professionals and restructure the performance of each.Keywords: Clinical Competence; Inpatient Unit; Medical Clinic Hospital Unit.

Solid waste from health services, the so-called “hospital waste”, has high risks to society and the environment. Because of this, it was necessary to create legislation that would indicate a whole treatment, seeking impact resolution without losing the quality of care provided. Thus are in force the CONAMA Resolutions 358/05, RDC ANVISA 222/18 and Law 12.305 / 10 that deal with health service waste management (SSR) steps and their management, defining the conduct of SSR agents to prevent and properly treat waste with potential contamination. This requires that every institution implements these safe-conduct strategies in the handling, storage, transportation, treatment and final disposal of SSR. In this research, the steps proposed by the Health Care Waste Management Plan (PGRSS) were analyzed: (segregation, packaging, identification, internal transport, temporary storage, treatment, external storage, collection and external transportation and final disposal). in a public hospital unit, located in the city of Manaus, by observing and describing the practices performed in the unit, resulting in 8 stages out of 9, which were presented, obtained satisfactory conditions in compliance with the legislation. What needs improvement in order to meet conditions responsive to legislation is local segregation. Another issue observed was related to sustainable responsibility, which hospital unit has. When adopting sustainable practices, there should be interactions of activities and awareness of all entities, which is already observed in this specific hospital unit, with sustainable practices based on certification because it meets the importance of the relationship with the environment, seeking to obtain increasingly satisfactory results, not only to respond to the legislative condition.

ABSTRACTObjective: to get to know the meaning of the care provided by nursing staff in the vision of hospitalized elderly patients at the clinic of a public hospital. Methodology: qualitative research, conducted from January to March of 2009 with ten elders of both sexes hospitalized in the medical clinic at a public hospital in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia. The data collection instrument was a semi-structured recorded interview. Data analysis was made by the method of thematic content analysis. The study was approved by the Ethical Committee of the Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências, resolution no. 0589-2008. Results: two themes emerged from the testimonies: the meaning of care in the vision of elderly and the positive and negative aspects of care received by nursing staff. The elderly have a positive view of care received by nursing staff relating to dedication, love and humanization. Regarding the negative aspects of care received, they relate: lack of communication and information about their health state. Conclusion: because it is a fragile stage of life, elderly people require special attention, sensitive care by the nursing staff. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi uma entrevista semi-estruturada, gravada. A análise dos dados foi realizada pelo método de análise de conteúdo temática. O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética da Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências pelo parecer nº 0589-2008. Resultados: dos depoimentos emergiram duas categorias temáticas: o significado do cuidado na visão dos idosos e os aspectos positivos e negativos do cuidado recebido pela equipe de enfermagem. Os idosos têm visão positiva do cuidado recebido pela equipe de enfermagem relacionando a dedicação, humanização e amor. Quanto aos aspectos negativos do cuidado recebido referem: falta de comunicação e informações sobre o seu estado de saúde. Conclusão: por se tratar de uma fase de fragilidade da vida a pessoa idosa requer uma atenção especial, um cuidado sensível pela equipe de enfermagem. Resultados: de los testimonios emergieron dos categorias temáticas: significado del cuidado en la visión de los mayores y los aspectos positivos y negativos del cuidado recibido por el equipo de enfermería. Los mayores tienen una visión positiva del cuidado recibido por el equipo de enfermería relacionando dedicación, humanización y amor. Cuanto a los aspectos negativos del mismo refieren: falta de comunicación e informaciones sobre su estado de salud. The objective of this research is to analyze the initiatives of Smart Tourism Destination [STD] present in Natal city, RN, Brazil. The study is based on the model of State Society for the Management of Innovation and Tourism Technologies (SEGITTUR), Spain, in which there are four dimensions to be developed to consolidate destinations as STD: Innovation, Technology, Universal Accessibility and Sustainability. Data collection used a semi-structured interview script with ten open questions applied to managers and researchers from the public and private sectors of the city. Documentary analysis of the Master Plan of Natal was also carried out, showing elements of Accessibility and to a lesser extent notion of Sustainability and Innovation. The interviews showed that Natal has incipient initiatives of Technology, Innovation and Accessibility, but it needs more projects of Sustainability to consolidate as STD. It deserves the attention of stakeholders in improving initiatives and acting together so that the essential dimensions are evolved in the city.

This article presents the partial results of a broader research on the conceptions and evaluative actions of six physical education teachers in high school in the city of Medellín (Colombia). Specifically, this paper presents the findings on one of its objectives: to analyze the decisions that teachers make before starting a didactic unit (planning on assessment). The research assumed a qualitative design, with a methodological approach of multiple case study. The strategies used for this purpose were the semi-structured interview and documentary analysis. The main findings of the study show that planning on assessment is not a specific activity that requires an interest on the part of the teachers, because their previous experiences give them the security to approach future units without adaptations according to the group or the subject to work on.

ABSTRACT Objective: to identify the prevalence of prematurity and the mothers’ profile from preterm’s newborn (PTI) in a public hospital in Pernambuco’s countryside. Method: this is about a quantitative study, observational and descriptive held in a public hospital in the city of Caruaru-PE. It was considered as a criterion for inclusion preterm infants’mothers, the sample was consisted for 148 postpartum women. Data collection was conducted from February to May 2010 was used structured interview filled from the interview mothers and observation medical records and prenatal card. All data were analyzed using the program Microsoft Excel®. The project was previously approved by the Research Ethics committee from ASCES College, under no protocol 280/09. Results: the prevalence of prematurity was 10.3%. The interviewed had among other characteristics:

RESUMOObjetivo: Identificar o significado para o enfermeiro em prestar cuidados para pacientes com Depressão.  Materiais e métodos: Estudo exploratório e descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, a amostra foi de 12 enfermeiras, o cenário de estudo foram Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estratégias de Saúde da Família, urbanas da cidade de Itajubá-MG. A coleta de dados foi por meio do roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada composta por questionário contendo uma pergunta inerente ao assunto. Resultados: Encontramos oito categorias como estigma da depressão, suicídio, dificuldade em lidar, tempo escasso, envolvimento familiar, aceitação da doença, acolhimento e dar medicamento, de acordo com os discursos dos sujeitos coletados na entrevista. Conclusão: Os enfermeiros não estão em contato direto com portadores de depressão no seu trabalho, não entendem que é sua tarefa identificar e encaminha-los para tratamento especializado. Sugerimos que outros estudos sejam desenvolvidos sobre essa temática.Palavras-chave: Depressão. Relação Enfermeiro-Paciente. Assistência de Enfermagem. ABSTRACTObjective: To identify the meaning for nurses when providing care for patients with depression. Materials and Methods: exploratory and descriptive study with qualitative approach, the sample consisted of 12 nurses, the study scenario was the urban Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estrategia de Saúde da Família, in the city of Itajubá. Data collection was done through semi-structured interview guides consisting of a questionnaire containing a question related to the subject. Results and Discussion: we found eight categories as stigma of depression, suicide, coping difficulties, scarce time, family involvement, acceptance of the disease, host and give medicine, according to the speeches of the subjects collected in the interview. Conclusion: nurses are not in direct contact with individuals with depression in their work, do not understand that it is their job to identify and refer them to specialized treatment. Spirituality as a human phenomenon presents itself as a significant aspect in the understanding and promotion of health, yet its study was neglected by psychological theories, with the exception of Jung's pioneering studies and the transpersonal approach. In this sense, we aim to present the vision of spirituality among psychologists from the city of Recife (in Brazil) who are guided by these theoretical lines, indicating how this phenomenon is experienced in their professional practices. We performed a phenomenological qualitative research that had as instrument the semi-structured interview with eight psychologists. The data were analyzed according to Bicudo's phenomenological approach and are in agreement with the scientific literature in this field, which indicates that there is no hegemonic definition of spirituality. There are visions of spiritualities, sometimes singular, sometimes common. Spirituality sometimes appears as synonymous with unconditional love, sometimes as access to the transcendent, without denying immanence. It also arises as internal energy and access to the Higher Self or just the Self. In the clinic it is considered as health promoter and approached from the demand in the Jungian perspective and seen as contextual in the transpersonal. We raised reflections on the importance of spirituality to the understanding of human being in its complexity.

RESUMO Objetivo: descrever a opinião das lideranças de Enfermagem acerca da contribuição da pesquisa de satisfação do usuário em relação ao atendimento. Método: estudo qualitativo, exploratório, descritivo, com 28 lideranças das unidades de internação de um hospital público. As informações foram coletadas por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e analisadas segundo a Análise de Conteúdo, na modalidade Análise Temática. Resultados: as análises apontaram as categorias “visão do trabalho da equipe de Enfermagem”, “prestação de um cuidado humanizado” e a “percepção do usuário acerca do serviço ofertado”. Evidencia-se que o resultado da pesquisa de satisfação fornece subsídios importantes para serem trabalhados com a equipe e em conjunto com a instituição. Conclusão: conclui-se que a pesquisa de satisfação traz grandes contribuições tanto para o usuário que responde, quanto para a equipe que utiliza os resultados para melhorar a qualidade da assistência em saúde.
