The paper discuss about the modelling and electrical characteristics of photovoltaic cell and its array type of construction in matlab-simulink environment at different insolation levels. The photovoltaic module is modelled using the diode electrical characteristic equation. The photovoltaic cell is analysed by voltage input and current input modules, The voltage and current input photovoltaic modules are simulated with different insolation values by varying the construction of PV modules. The results conclude that the current input PV module is well suited for applications were it shares same current when connected in series and voltage input PV module, where it shares same voltage when connected in parallel.

Aim: This project aims to improve the electrical characteristics in the polymer tandem solar cell by changing polymers with thickness to increase the efficiency. Methods and Materials: The PEDOT: PSS and P3HT Polymer was chosen as a group having 20 samples in each respectively. The electrical characteristics are stimulated by varying the polymer with thickness. Changing the polymer material leads to improved efficiency in the tandem solar cell. Results: The Independent T test was done which reveals that the P3HT (P = 0.553) was found to be statistically significantly compared with PEDOT: PSS polymer material. Conclusion: The analysis we found P3HT appeared to have better efficiency than PEDOT: PSS polymer tandem solar cell from Green energy. While P3HT(p=0.583) having the better significance compared with PEDOT: PSS (p=0.883).

Different perovskite materials, such as methylammonium lead triiodide MAPbI3, exhibit many outstanding and desirable properties in solar energy harvesting. In this paper, the enhancement of perovskite solar cells’ both optical and electrical characteristics through adding either gold (Au) or silver (Ag) nanoparticles (NPs) using different simulations was studied. The used plasmonic nanoparticles were found to be able to compensate for the low absorption of MAPbI3 in the visible with optical coupling resonance frequencies close to that spectrum. Optimal diameters of Au and Ag NPs were found and simulated, and their impact on different parameters such as transmission, absorption, reflection, external quantum efficiency (EQE), open circuit voltage, short-circuit current density, fill factor, and most importantly, efficiency of the perovskite solar cell, have been investigated.
