Today, cultural issues should be one of the most popular among the viewers of the Ukrainian channels, because such programs affect the level of their education and culture in general. Modern globalization has determined the specifics of socio-cultural dynamics, and media play an important role in this process, demonstrating a channel of translation of the values ​​and content of mass culture, whose stereotypes are widely disseminated in the socio-cultural space. Media in modern society have a significant impact on the formation of value orientations. Cultural and entertainment programs occupy an important niche on television. Most young people prefer this genre. Therefore, to interest the audience in such a program, you should make great efforts to create an entertaining story. As entertainment TV shows become popular, each show must be individual and different from each other. As for the recommendations we would like to make to improve cultural and entertainment programs, this is first and foremost a question. Television speech is seen as an important factor in the emotional interaction of the three elements - image, sound and word. But the word plays the most important role in modern television, it is the main "tool" of a journalist's skill. The desire for purity of speech, its intelligibility - one of the basic professional principles of television journalists. As the analysis of the talk show shows, a skilled presenter is the key to the success of a TV show. The presenter is a person who is first of all aware and constantly enriches his knowledge in a professional way. This is a person who has professional skills, namely: mastery of intonation and timbre of the voice, the manner of gesturing in front of the camera and the work with the camera. A presenter is a creative person who works as a journalist, director, cameraman and editor. The presenter must be smart, not boring, talented and energetic. After all, such people are required by the viewer in a TV show. Hosts should develop thinking, interpret events and conduct broadcasts in a natural manner and intonation. The presenter, of course, is a representative of a certain social group, and his interaction can be considered as "representative communication", meaning the common interests, values, ideals and guidelines of this social group. He must present himself to the viewer as a partner in communication. The establishment of interpersonal contacts in the process of television communication is due to the audiovisual nature of television communication. The viewer receives a message from a specific person, the host of a television program, which is why such a message is personalized. Nowadays we can talk about the tendencies of increasing their influence on the formation of general public flavors and needs, as a result of which research and systematization of mechanisms of interaction of mass media and culture in the process of the emergence of modern values ​​is an urgent problem.

The article studies moral and spiritual values as regulators of relations in social systems that determine the worldview of the individual and the development vector of modern society, building value orientations as the basis of national security. Attention is drawn to the fact that the mass culture of the virtual Internet space freely erases the national borders of countries and continents, creating conflicts and crises on a global scale. The article substantiates the need for a modern state to support its own culture and values in the context of information globalization, to prevent the imposition of the values of other cultures, and to develop conditions for optimal integration without destructive consequences for society. It is shown that to ensure the national security of modern Russian society, it is necessary to: form public and national consciousness; maintain the cultural and value potential of the nation; develop spiritual and moral values of dialogical interaction of communities; develop a stable spiritual immunity of the individual based on the national values of the state; include a cultural and value dominant in development strategy of the country.

At present, social philosophy is dominated by the view that the importance of mass culture is constantly decreasing, which soon is supposed to lead to the natural decay of this cultural form. The author refutes the arguments of those who are skeptical about the position of mass culture in the post-industrial and digital information society and shows that the functional nature of this type of culture allows it to successfully fulfill its role in modern social systems. The materials of the article can be useful in preparing courses in the framework of social philosophy.

The author proves that despite the generally accepted point of view regarding the negative functions performed by mass culture in society, i.e., first of all, simplifying consciousness, escapist, and compensatory one, there is a number of positive functions performed by mass culture in modern society. Among them, the author highlights the ability of mass culture to construct social communities and the adaptive function that becomes necessary within the framework of non-traditional — industrial, post-industrial, and informational social structures. The material of the article may be of interest as a specific methodology for the study of socio-cultural phenomena.

The fear of death and the myth of immortality are themes long present in various narratives, whether literary or visual. Science fiction as a genre offers us many venues for new explorations of this idea. Mind uploading is one of them. This fictional technique, related to cloning, is performed when the mind and consciousness of a person are transferred to another biological body or machine with the help of technology. In this way, a person continues their social life through their brain functions. This paper looks at four separate recent screen narratives – the movies Self/less, Transcendence, and Replicas, and the episode “Be Right Back” of the TV show Black Mirror. With the help of Tzvetan Todorov’s structural analysis, we find clauses that are present in all of the plots and see what ideas and topics they share. The paper also uses the idea of anthropological reading of science fiction and therefore uses scientific research to analyze these themes. By looking at anthropological findings of immortality, mortality, death in modern society, and digital techniques, we see how the analyzed narratives portray a unique mixture of fear of and longing for all the mentioned processes and ideas. Finally, this paper shows how science fiction could possibly reflect reality – both through presenting thoughts of society and inspiring future technological advances and ideas (in this case, the quest for immortality). While humans are still far from achieving eternal life, the mentioned screen narratives portray the growing stream of ideas that deal with mind uploading in the age of the internet and social media.

The article analyzes the processes of intensive informatization and technologization of modern society, affecting the vector of development of the social, economic, political and military spheres of the state. In this context, the problem of informational impact on a human personality, his consciousness, mindset, spiritual and value orientations is considered. On the scale of the geopolitical interaction of the world community at the information-psychological level, this problem is revealed through the prism of describing the nature and content of the information war carried out in the interests of achieving political and military goals. Areas of informational influence on police officers are specified. In this regard, the need for the formation of information literacy of law enforcement specialists is being updated; the directions of information and psychological counteraction and protection against information attacks are highlighted. Psychological resistance, critical thinking, information security are named among the priority solutions to the highlighted issue.

Most representatives of the modern youth demonstrate formed clip thinking characterized by a loss of skills to analyze, discourse, set logical connections. This not only affects the process of learning and obtaining professional knowledge, but also expresses a change in the attitude to work as one of the most important values against the background of a significant increase in the value of leisure. The transformation of values due to the influence of external factors such as television, Internet, radio, media on consciousness is obvious. The bulk of the media clip thinking is the youth facing serious difficulties in introducing serious creative work and the creation of new values. At present the structure and types of differences in employment are undergoing epoch-making changes. They are expressed in the mixture of traditional and modern trends, the emergence of new forms of work (freelance, downshifting, etc.), as well as in the formation of new trends in the attitude to work. New values such as "success", "pleasure", "power" are formed on the basis of cultural changes in the youth environment. The value paradigm formed in the youth environment under the influence of mass culture in the conditions of the information revolution has become an expression of new needs in the transformation of social reality. Under these conditions, the study of trends in the youth's value attitudes to work is of great theoretical and practical importance. The theoretical basis of this article is grounded on the works of A. Mole, E. Toffler, D. bell, E. Fromm, G. Marcuse, G. McLuhan. Their research papers reflect the changes that began to occur in society in the second half of the XX century and had an impact on the change of value orientations of young people. In our country, these changes were manifested in the generation of the nineties and noughties, and the representatives of this generation are the carriers of new values associated with the consequences of the information revolution.

In the article, the authors substantiates the modern model of the interman as a creative cyber personality, which has the potential to be identified with the correspondence of virtual bodies as a problem of modern culture. It is emphasized that it is precisely this functional possibility that finds out a new paradigm of human existence, in which entropy as a criterial device modernizes modern society. It is determined that the most intelligently gifted people are able to master the noosphere space of being through the phenomenal wisdom recipes. This content shows entropy as a defining modus of probable processes, in which modernization of a modern person, state and society takes place, since the criterion of the entropy apparatus is the recognition of that random fact (events, situations) that becomes logical. It is emphasized that the main direction of risk processes in the phenomenal wisdom recipes for the personality, the state and society should be truly chosen in the entropy system, carefully studying the theory of probable functions. It is revealed that ideological borrowings contain a considerable danger, since ideology has a class modification due to the modernization of a certain class on the basis of samples of another's experience. It is concluded that this may lead to an urgent inter-class conflict, to strengthen, oppositional sentiment. An overview of modernization as an entropy of risk processes is given, which is the mainstream in a particular historical retrospective of phenomenal consciousness. It is emphasized that modernization means the creation of a new type of world order, in which human being plays an anthropocentric role at the level of legal subjectivity. The constructive and destructive Spirit of Time according to the entropy criteria is confirmed. Different forms of crisis are revealed when exhausting the established norms and rules of behavior of individuals, groups, classes, ethnic groups, communities. It is envisaged that science is such a fundamental innovation in which entropy depends to a large extent on the mental and value orientations of an individual people, based on consciousness, language, culture, etc. Creation of complex of measures and procedures is envisaged including the risks concerning maintenance of human life and health in the legal state.

The article examines modern problems of teaching philosophy in high school. The attention is paid on issues such as reducing the demand for philosophical knowledge in students, especially students of technical specialties. This problem is considered in the context of social-cultural transformations of modern society and its priorities – innovative development, information of the social relations, the relevance of technological skills and applied knowledge among the younger generation. We studied the relation of philosophical knowledge to the needs and value orientations of the modern generation. The authors study the main myths of social consciousness of generation Y: lazy, need to serve instantly the needs, malevolence toward others, selfishness and spoiled. For the analysis of values of modern generation there was used the concept of an American coach-coach B. Hobart about the generation Y. There are the results of regional studies on issues of vital resources of modern man. There is updated the main problem of the young generation – the problem of shortage of vital resources, which are expressed in three dimensions: lack of knowledge, lack of communication and lack of time. The authors analyze the core values of generation Y – the resource knowledge and the resource of freedom of personal choice. Taking into account the transformation of the needs of the students they describe technology lectures on philosophy. They present such contemporary methods of training as brainstorming, method and method criteria. There is an example of the structure and key concepts of the lecture to University students on the topic “Consciousness as a philosophical category”. As necessary components of philosophy education, the authors today highlight the practical orientation, the technological component of practical training, as well as the increasing demands for the preparation of the contemporary teacher in philosophy.

A significant current trend in the industrialised countries is a growing individualization among wages-earners: i.e changes from collective value orientations based on solidarity and equality towards more individualistic value orientations based on self-interest and personal opportunities. This paper analyses relations between these changes in wage-earners' identity, labour market position, job characteristics, and relationship to the company and trade union: both empirically, by using Danish survey data from the research project: `The Employee Perspective on Working Life and Politics', and theoretically, by discussing the contrasting ideas of Hirsch and Roth (1986) and Valkenburg (1995) and Zoll (1995). The analysis shows both expected and surprising relationships between labour market positions, job characteristics and individualization. Furthermore, the paper demonstrates that the term individualization' must be understood as a relative concept, and that an increased individualization does not necessarily lead towards a dissolution of the trade union movement as a representative of wage-earners' interests in modern society.

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of contextual teaching methods on the development of personal meanings of teaching university students. Since it is education that provides real opportunities for the development of citizens, their self-realization and demand in modern society, which is being formed today under the influence of the processes of informatization and intellectualization of all spheres of public life, the problem of the formation of value orientations, the meanings of learning is especially relevant. The aim of the research is to find ways and means of forming the personal meanings of students in the study of non-core subjects for their direction, in particular mathematics. The process of teaching mathematics is modeled, providing a semantic orientation of teaching. Three stages of meaning formation with the characteristics of their content are considered. The effectiveness of using a contextual approach to the process of teaching mathematics to students of agricultural areas of training is shown.
