The mobile geophysical technology include a special method of the remote sensing data processing and interpreting, aerial mapping method of the forming short-pulsed electromagnetic field (FSPEF), method of vertical electric-resonance sounding (VERS). Inclusion of such technologies in traditional complex of exploration geological-geophysical methods will promote both minimization of the financial expenses on the oil-and-gas exploration problems solving, and essential reduction of time for their practical realization.

The results of the geoelectric methods of formation of short-pulsed electromagnetic field (FSPEF) and vertical electric-resonance sounding (VERS) using during aerogeophysical investigation conducting within the perspective for the oil and gas Kostanayskaya area are given. The principal possibility of the survey by FSPEF method conducting from airplane is shown. This testifies that FSPEF survey can be used with other aerogeophysical methods for reconnaissance investigation of big for area and difficult of access territories.

The results of practical application of geoelectric methods of forming short-pulsed electromagnetic field (FSPEF) and vertical electric-resonance sounding (VERS), as well as georadar soundings on destroyed by landslide area of road are given. It is shown, that the presence of the zone with raised filtering of ground waters is the main reason of roadway erosion and landslide formation. The finding and mapping of water flow and area of the raised soil moistening can be realized operatively by complex of mobile geophysical methods.

Geophysical methods widely used in oil and gas exploration. Modeling of gravity data is used extensively to illustrate the geometry and interface between the sediments and bedrock. Which can help the salt dome, anticline folds, dome-shaped uplift of the continental platform and reef masses to be identified. There are various methods to illustrate the bedrock topography, and we will describe one of these methods in present paper. Using the upward continuation, we extract the residual gravity anomaly which in fact shows the local effect of bedrock gravity on the observed gravity. Then, according to the Oldenburg - Parker method, the residual gravity data are inversed and finally the 3D geometry the bedrock is illustrated. It should be noted that some software's like Surfer and Excel are used in this research but the program main code is written using Matlab programming.

The discovery of the Pollard oil field in southern Alabama early in 1952 sparked a campaign of leasing and exploration which spread quickly into Georgia and Florida. Three fields in southwestern Alabama and one in southern Florida account for all the oil production in the three states. Some aspects of the general geology and geophysics of the area, illustrated with maps, cross sections, and correlation charts, suggest the presence of geologic conditions favorable for the possible trapping and accumulation of oil and gas. Early seismograph exploration in much of the area was not effective, but in recent months the tempo of seismic activity has been accelerating, and improvements in instrumental and interpretive techniques are being achieved through current experimental work. The use of the various geophysical methods contributed to the discovery of the four oil fields located in the area. The structural traps indicated by the contour maps of the four fields are of the type sought by the reflection seismic method. Examples of representative reflection records indicate the presence of usable and correlatable seismic events. A seismic cross section prepared from data of this type shows the fault zone associated with the Pollard field. The existence of favorable geologic conditions in the southeastern states and the recent oil field successes at Pollard and South Carlton indicate the continuing of active development and exploration throughout the area.

The purpose of the work is to determine the state of study and the prospects for further research on the vertebrate animals remains from the Mesozoic deposits of the Lugansk region. To achieve this goal, collection and generalization of information on the locations of vertebral remains among the Mesozoic deposits of Lugansk region were made. Despite the considerable amount of findings of various groups of Mesozoic vertebrates remains in the Donets Basin territories adjoining them, their systematic and purposeful study, unfortunately, was not conducted in Lugansk region, although indications of the findings of the Mesozoic vertebrates remains in the Luhansk region occur quite often. As a result of the processing of published materials and preliminary interpretation of field observations, a list of 20 sites located mainly on the right bank of the Siversky Donets within the Lugansk region is compiled. Almost all the places are confined to the Upper Cretaceous deposits, much less – to the basal layers of the Paleogene and only one to the Triassic. The vast majority of the locations of the Upper Cretaceous are confined to the area in contact with an array of coal deposits (the so-called "open Carboniferous"). Outwards from it, the rocks are more open-sea and they drastically reduce the diversity of the fossil fauna. Therefore, outlining the range of promising areas regarding finding vertebrate animals remains one should be aware of the above-mentioned pattern of their placement. Triassic deposits of the Donbas are not at all investigated for finding the remains of vertebrates, although their potential is very significant. Nevertheless, due to the small area of the Triassic deposits outcrop in the Lugansk region, searches need to be directed to the west – in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. The problem of solving the ecological and geological issues which arise as the result of working off in natural resources (in particular the deposits of potassium salts) is actual at this time. Specificity is in easy solubility of salts and therefore the creation of artificial cavities and karstic phenomena. The article examines the ways to solve the problems of mapping the salt karst and forecasting creation of dips and subsidence of the earth's surface by the example of Kalush-Holyn potassium salt deposit which is located in Ukrainian Precarpathians. As the basis of the research, the complex geophysical methods were considered. It was proved that the method of natural pulsed electromagnetic field of the Earth (NPEMFE) can be selected as a reliable evaluation method of stress-strain state of rocks and prediction of karst processes and deformations which is associated with the presence of extracting chambers. The article describes the physical preconditions for applying the method, sets out the basic postulates of field intensity anomalies classification and proposes the methodology for depth evaluation. Using the real examples - the profile and planar research of potassium salt deposit - the succes of the NPEMFE method is shown, along with its effectiveness to solve some ecological and geological problems, as well as feasibility of using the method in other areas.

The work suggest a method to research structure and estimate stress-strained state of perma-frosts, based on Earth's natural pulsed electromagnetic field parameters recording. Unlike previously used geophysical methods applied for such tasks, based on measuring electric and magnetic perma-frosts properties, for the first time the method applied is based on determining structural, strength and deformational properties of the rocks. Algorithm and software-hardware system implementing the method is tested during engineering-cryological mapping of the Yakutia's Chayadinsk oil, gas and condensate field territory where line facilities are located. Examples of varying morfology cryo-genic formations detection are demonstrated as well as method's capacity to be applied to monitor geocryological processes in conditions of technogenic influence and global warming.

The Siberian Platform is the largest hydrocarbon-bearing sedimentary basin in the USSR. The conditions encountered in geophysical exploration in this basin are uniquely difficult. This very old sedimentary complex is characterised by abrupt changes in physical properties reflecting the presence of dolerites and tuffs, changes in salt thickness, and complex structure. Petroleum traps are controlled by low amplitude structures in the salt complex, although reservoir properties are variable, so that most traps are stratigraphic. This leads to the use of frequency content of seismic data to identify traps and electrical and time domain EM techniques to confirm the presence of the traps.
