The study aimed to demonstrate the role of administrative empowerment in enhancing trust among school principals in the Tayyibah and Wasatiyyah Brigades, where the descriptive approach was used. The study used the questionnaire as a tool for the study to reach its goals; statistical program (SPSS) was used to process data statistically and to extract the results The study community included school principles working in the directorate of education in the Tayyibah and Al wasatia, The study sample consisted of (50) principals, the results showed that there is a large role for administrative empowerment in enhancing trust among school principals, With average ranging between (4.1- 3.3 out of 5) for the four areas of empowerment. Based on the results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals to enhance administrative empowerment and activate its role in enhancing confidence among school principals.

<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris">This study aims to determine the effect of working mothers and the role of fathers on children's learning achievement in Pasir Buncir Bogor. The research method used is a grounded research method with RT (Rukun Tetangga) respondents and community leaders who are in RW 01 (Rukun Warga). The results of this study indicate that parents are very important for each of their children, but because of busy parents who work many children who do not get full attention. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that parents, fathers and mothers still have a large role and responsibility for the growth and development of their children. Given the magnitude of the problems faced by children in their growth and development, it is only natural that parents provide more optimal attention, guidance, and supervision to their children.</p><p class="15cKeywordsBInggris"> </p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ibu bekerja dan peran ayah terhadap prestasi belajar anak di Pasir Buncir Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode grounded research dengan responden RT (Rukun Tetangga) dan tokoh masyarakat yang berada di RW 01 (Rukun Warga). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua sangat berperan penting bagi setiap anaknya, namun karena kesibukkan orang tua yang bekerja banyak anak yang kurang mendapatkan perhatian sepenuhnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua, ayah dan ibu tetap memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab yang besar terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan putra-putrinya. Mengingat besarnya permasalahan yang dihadapi anak dalam masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya maka sudah sewajarnya jika para orang tua memberikan perhatian, bimbingan, dan pengawasan yang lebih optimal kepada anak-anaknya.</p>

The objective of this study is to know the role of hotel industry in revenue generation and to know the CSR activities expected from the hotel industry in India. The present study highlights the significance of hotel industry in Indian economy, their demand and supply forces, and various challenges before hotel Industry and Government efforts to remove the problem associated with this industry. The Indian business environment has many its merits and it is therefore the CSR has a large role to play because it has guidelines to help in its progression and the guidelines require playing up India's strengths like innovation. Inter-alia, the CSR should encourage exchange of ideas, systems thinking and problem solving. Further the CSR should support transparency in work culture, innovation, stakeholder engagement besides consumer empowerment, all in order to make businesses do better with new products and services that put human and environmental health at the forefront. We cannot consider these goals as policy because it will result in a stagnation of CSR. These are the mandatory spend encourages. The business sector in India for the development of the society as a whole has to share responsibility with government.

Recently, a range of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs have emerged as being used recreationally, either on their own or in combination with other substances, both licit and illicit, including new psychoactive substances (NPS). Among them, the misuse of prescription drugs involves not only traditionally recorded substances, such as benzodiazepines and opioid pain relievers, but also gabapentinoids (e.g., pregabalin and gabapentin); some antidepressants, e.g., bupropion and venlafaxine; some second-generation antipsychotics, e.g., quetiapine and olanzapine. Moreover, the use of some OTC for recreational purposes appears on the increase, especially in vulnerable categories such as young people/youths, including the use of high dosages of the antidiarrheal loperamide; first-generation antihistamines, e.g., promethazine, cyclizine, and diphenhydramine; cough and cold preparations containing dextromethorphan and/or codeine. In this context, the role of the Internet has rapidly increased, playing a significant role both in the diffusion of emerging trends of drug misuse among users and experimenters, and the marketing, sale, and distribution of drugs through online pharmacies. This phenomenon within the context of a rapidly modifying drug scenario is a globally recognized health problem, determining severe adverse consequences, including fatalities, and represents a challenge for clinicians in general, psychiatrists, public health, and drug-control policies.

The Impact

Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are thoroughly integrated into the drug supply chain as administrators of prescription drug benefits for private insurers, self-insuring business, and government health plans. As the role of PBMs has expanded, their opaque business practices and impact on drug prices have come under increasing scrutiny. PBMs are particularly influential in oncology care because prescription drugs play a major role in the treatment of most cancers and an increasing number of patients with cancer are treated with oral oncology agents managed by PBMs. There is concern that some PBM practices may threaten access to high-quality cancer care and may increase the financial and administrative burden on patients and practices. In this article, we review the role of PBMs in prescription drug coverage and reimbursement, discuss the impact of PBMs on oncology care, and present data from the 2018 ASCO Practice Survey assessing the knowledge and attitude of oncology practices toward PBMs.

Purpose: Investigations suggest non-medical use of prescription drugs (NMUPD) is associated with heavy drinking and polydrug use among university students. Our aim is to determine the prevalence of NMUPD among university students and to analyze its association with alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis use, and to study the role of the age of drinking onset. Methods: Cohort study among university Spanish students (n = 1382). Heavy drinking (HED) and risky consumption (RC) were measured with the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test. Questions related to tobacco and cannabis consumption were also formulated. NMUPD refers to sedative, anxiety, or pain medication intake within the last 15 days without medical prescription. All variables were measured at 18, 20, and 27 years. Multilevel logistic regression for repeated measures was used to obtain adjusted OR (odds ratios). We analyzed the results from a gender perspective. Results: Prevalence of NMUPD were higher in students who already partook in NMUPD at the beginning of the study. NMUPD in women at 27 is 3 times higher than at 18, while in men it is twice. Among females, RC (OR = 1.43) and cannabis consumption (OR = 1.33) are risk factors for NMUPD, while later onset of alcohol use (OR = 0.66) constitutes a protective factor. No significant differences were found for males. Conclusions: NMUPD is prevalent among university students. RC and early onset of alcohol use were associated with higher prevalence of NMUPD in females. The prevalence of NMUPD increased with age in both sexes. Strategies for reducing risky drinking and delaying onset of drinking should be provided for university students. Pharmacists and parents should be alerted to the risk of NMUPD.

Abstract Background Self-medication is a common practice worldwide. During COVID-19 pandemic, the constant fear of going outside and to use health services may have had an impact in the number of visits to Community Pharmacies. This research aimed to study self-medication habits of the Portuguese population during the current pandemic, more specifically, to understand which non-prescription drugs and food supplements were taken and the situations that conduced to the use of self-medication. Methods An online structured survey was conducted, with data obtained anonymously and included 170 participants (≥18 years). Data were processed using SPSS v26. Results Participants in this study were mainly female (81.2%), with a mean age of 38.01 ± 1.16 years old and most (84.7%) over 12 years of schooling. Answers allowed to verify that the current pandemic didn’t affect that much the frequency of visits to Pharmacy and the situations where people used self-medication were mainly minor, such as headaches (54.1%) and muscle pains (26.5%). The medications used more often were analgesics (60.0%) and anti-inflammatory (40.0%). However, many people indicated that they didńt seek for more information about medicines (49.4%) and/or supplements (7.6%) used during this period. In general, people visited the Pharmacy with a similar frequency and purpose as the previous year. Conclusions Despite all the changes, the current pandemic has not negatively affected the practice of self-medication. The role of Pharmacy professionals in the rational use of the drugs, particularly those used in self medicated situations is essential, especially when the population shows low health literacy regarding the use of medicines.

This paper reviews the literature on soil and nature's contributions to people (NCP) around learning and inspiration, physical and psychological experiences, and supporting identities, revealing a range of relationships to imagining, understanding and experiencing soil. Often labelled elsewhere as ‘cultural ecosystem services’, these NCP provide a range of benefits that are mostly non-material, non-consumptive and intangible. The review finds that NCP framings help to highlight how soils have contributed to inspiring learning and creative works, like art; to mental and physical health benefits, such as through recreation and gardening; and to cultural identities and practices, including religious practices and efforts for social justice. Overall, soils have played a large role in human creative endeavours, are the root of significant relationships to the environment and can be conceptualized through key metaphors, ideas and theory as a bridge linking culture and nature together. Yet despite the wide-ranging contributions of soils to these NCP, the literature remains uneven and much more remains to be understood, including how relational values of care and stewardship with soils can be fostered and how attention to the co-produced ‘biosocial’ nature of soil can help improve practices for soil health.
