We are lured by the sounds of the numbers stations—by the sounds of infinity— away from what men actually saw and touched and out into a voyeuristic thrill. But as we listen in on the numbers as they speak to each other, we ourselves begin to be changed into a hideous likeness to them. Because that, of course, is the great danger of any ‘listening in’. It never takes place neutrally or passively. It is because of this that the Word of God can save men. And it is also because of this that the numbers station of the totality of atomic facts can destroy them. Because listening is never about the content of what is being transmitted; it is about the tuning in. In this chapter, we learn the sense in which the Tractatus was a spiritual autobiography.

The article covers the specifics of land development and construction in the Arctic North. This requires the effective use of climate information to select optimal solutions for preventing unjustified overpricing of facilities, increased heat loss, low thermal resistance, and durability, affecting the overspending of capital investments. Recent trends in dynamic climate change leading to rising global sea levels, which could flood coastal areas of the Arctic seas, are considered. This can come along with the destruction of the coastal area and pose a great danger to infrastructure facilities.

The authors discuss Stuart Hall's lifelong critical engagement with Marxism - though his was a complex, subtle, agonistic, Marxism, where nothing is taken for granted. This engagement continued even as postcoloniality, ethnicity, race and identity steadily came to the centre of Hall's attention, constituting ways of thinking that in some ways represented a departure. Hall can be seen as a mediator, both within Marxism - for example structuralism versus culturalism - and between Marxism and other discourses, finding areas in common as well as difference, respecting aspects of a position without endorsing whole positions; and in so doing transforming the problem under consideration. He is also discussed as an organic intellectual, who - though with no assumption of a shared class or shared party - sought to create a collective self-consciousness, a coalition, that could offer an effective challenge to the state. The concept of conjuncture is an important part of these ideas. These aspects of Hall's work are discussed further in relation to racialisation and racism, where Hall is seen as committed to both analytic and practical observation, and to humanism as well as Marxism: the people at the centre of the analysis are agents not categories. Hall was not aiming to bring things to a rounded, validity-seeking coherence, but to always leave some strands open: his thinking is constitutively open. At the same time his underlying, very simple, message is that, in some way or another, the many issues we face are all connected, and we should never give up the integrative pluralism of political thinking. The great danger is fragmented pluralism, where the politics of difference, wherever the differences are, leads to political de-alignment rather than coalitional unity.

Copper (Cu), is an essential trace element. Along with lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium etc. it is classified as a member of heavy metal group. Deficiency of copper is involved in the etiology and promotion of many disease processes related to gastrointestinal and neurological systems as well as affect functions of heart, blood vessel, pancreas etc. Deficiency of copper in early part of gestation can produce major organ malformations in the developing fetus and this in turn if persistently present can lead to neurological as well as immunological abnormalities in the newborn. Conversely presence of enormous concentrations of copper is also a great danger for the human health. Acute copper toxicity predisposes to various pathological conditions and can cause death in severe cases. Chronic exposure to copper produces anemia, liver toxicity and severe neurological defects.

However, it should be remembered that there is a great danger of losing the most important meaning of dance by commercializing and reducing its essence. Dance tourism as discussed in the article is understood as travel for the purpose of learning about dance and its culture in places where given dance styles were born, or where they play an important national role as well as enjoying great popularity among the local community. This article is an introduction to the issue of dance tourism in an anthropological context. It presents potential attractions related to dance in the perspectives of cultural and sports tourism, it has an illustrative and descriptive character while its method is a literature review and presentation of popular examples.

. Ensuring economic security is the independence of the country and the condition for the life of society. That is why economic security is a top national priority. In modern Russia, there are both external and internal threats to the country's economic security. Internal threats pose a great danger; it is their presence that makes the state more vulnerable to external factors. Corruption in our country acts as a form of manifestation of internal threats. This powerful negative factor violates the safety of economic and national security. Corruption occurs in the industry where the criminal has various privileges and powers. At the same time, this crime causes greater economic harm to a citizen, society and the state than any other criminal offense.

This article provides a theoretical analysis of youth radicalism, which is one of the areas of modern radicalism. The excursion showed that youth radicalism, which developed in the United States, was a response to the discrepancy between the values cultivated in the youth environment and generally accepted rules and standards. As for the countries of the post-Soviet space, including Kazakhstan, here youth radicalism developed during the collapse of the USSR, when, in the conditions of a sharp drop in living standards, it was this part of the radical movement that became more active. As a study in Kazakhstan has shown, youth radicalism, as a rule, has not an ideological but a criminal basis. In this regard, in our opinion, a great danger is posed by various criminal groups, which involve modern Kazakhstani youth, where they are forced to extremism, religious fanaticism, crimes, etc. The purpose of this study was to update research aimed at studying the psychological characteristics of youth radicalism, to analyze the susceptibility and prevention of radicalist sentiments of Kazakhstani youth.

Biodiversity among domesticated animals in developing countries is enormous. However, due to introduction of superior animal breeds with excellent performance, the native animal resources with good adaptability but lower productivity are in great danger. The list of extinct local breeds and deteriorated remaining ones are becoming longer every year. Erosion of genetic diversity in a breed may cause increase in the rate of inbreeding and genetic abnormalities thereby decrease in animal performance, particularly for reproductive traits. These will virtually reduce the global gene pool for future development and can be considered as a serious threat for universal food security. Therefore the urgency and need to conservation of genetic resources in animal biodiversity is clear particularly for those in the developing countries (Hall, et al. 1995). Buffalo play an important role in animal production in some province of Iran. Present study follow to evaluate the genetic diversity and existing relationship among three Iranian native buffalo populations by using microsatellite markers.

Abstract Humanity faces two fundamental problems of learning: learning about the universe, and learning to become civilized. We have solved the first problem, but not the second one, and that puts us in a situation of great danger. Almost all of our global problems have arisen as a result. It has become a matter of extreme urgency to solve the second problem. The key to this is to learn from our solution to the first problem how to solve the second one. This was the basic idea of the 18th century Enlightenment, but in implementing this idea, the Enlightenment blundered. Their mistakes are still built into academia today. In order to le arn how to create a civilized, enlightened world, the key thing we need to do is to cure academia of the structural blunders we have inherited from the Enlightenment. We need to bring about a revolution in science, and in academia more broadly so that the basic aim becomes wisdom, and not just knowledge.
