The purpose of the study was to determine the degree of relationships among five variables in the previous musical and personal experiences of adults in Wyoming with eleven hierarchical levels of their attitudes concerning music. Multivariate analyses, including canonical correlation, stepwise multiple regression, and a full Pearson correlation matrix, were used to test these relationships in the sample. The research established a strong relationship between hierarchical levels of occupation and attitudinal levels, some evidences of relationship of background learning experience in music to criteria, but minimal relationship of age, sex, and community size to these attitudes.

Background: Diarrhea is still a major health problem in Indonesia. The Province of East Java ranks the second-highest number of diarrhea incidence after West Java, which reached 1,048,885 patients. The most dominant factors contributing to diarrheal diseases are water and family latrines. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between access to drinking water and proper sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in East Java. Methods: This study was an observational study with a correlation study design. The population used was all people suffering from diarrheal diseases handled by each district in East Java Province in 2017. The method of sampling used aggregate data on the number of cases of diarrhea handled and the number of people with access to drinking water and proper sanitation per district/city in East Java province based on the East Java Health Profile 2017. The variables studied were the number of people who had access to drinking water (feasible), the number of people who had access to proper sanitation facilities (healthy latrines), and the number of diarrhea cases handled in East Java Province, with analysis techniques in the form of Pearson correlation. Results: This study showed that there was a relationship between residents who had access to inadequate drinking water (p = 0.00) which had a strong relationship of 0.48 (strong enough) and there was also a relationship between residents with inadequate access to sanitation facilities (not have healthy latrines) (p = 0.00) which had a strong relationship of 0.53 (strong enough). Conclusion: There is a relationship between access to drinking water and sanitation that is not feasible with the incidence of diarrhea found in East Java.

Objective The clozapine/N-desmethylclozapine (NDMC) ratio is proposed to be used as a predictor of cognitive performance in clozapine-treated patients, as its principal metabolite, NDMC, has an opposite action with clozapine on the cholinergic system. The aim of this study is to determine whether clozapine has influence on cognitive performance in accordance with changes in the clozapine/NDMC in patients with schizophrenia. Methods The data of fifteen patients with schizophrenia, who had initial and follow-up assessments after starting clozapine treatment, were retrospectively collected. The assessments included clinical scale, cognitive battery, and pharmacological data including plasma concentrations of clozapine and NDMC. The data were analyzed with Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression analyses. Results ΔAttention/vigilance, Δsocial cognition, and Δcomposite score had a significant correlation with Δclozapine/NDMC ratio, while ΔWorking memory had correlation with Δclozapine concentration and ΔNDMC concentration, and Δsocial cognition had association with Δclozapine concentration. Multiple regression analysis showed that Δattention/vigilance had negative association with Δclozapine/NDMC ratio, Δworking memory had negative relation with Δclozapine concentration, and that Δsocial cognition had negative association with Δclozapine concentration. Conclusion This finding implicates that lowering the clozapine/NDMC ratio could enhance cognition in patients with schizophrenia treated with clozapine.

The question of compensation in addition to sensitive to be driving someone to worl due to an effect on morale and discipline employees. Therefore , any  agency or any organization should be able to provide compensation equal to the workload  to create a workforce that efficient and effective manner can be realized. Amaore than that, the company’s goal to improve performance. Performance assessment is a subjective process that involves human judgments. Thus, performance assessment is very likely wrong and very easily influonced by sources that are not actual, so it must be taken into account and considered reasinable. Frformance appraisals are considered  to meet the target if it has a good impact on new employees who rated their performance. Simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 12:00 data processing obtained tegression equation Y = 0,487 X 74 + with an explanation of X = award, 74 = constant, 0.487 = coefficient awards, and Y = performance based on simple linear regression equation in case of increase of one unit of the  performance award will be increased 0.487 units. If company policy negates the performance award will remain at a constant rate (74) units . (A) Test results obtained thitung significant constants of (12.574) > t table for (1.960 then reject Ho constanta significant meaning. (B) significant Test award coefficient t count the results obtained by (2.164)> t table foe (1.96) then reject Ho the mean coeffent of appreciation affect the performance . (C) correlation coefficient analysis is done by calculating the product moment corration (pearson)  to test  whether or not a strong  relationship between the variables X  dan Y , based on the results of cakculations with SPSS  table valuse obtained by calculating the  correlation coefficient r (0.3100> r on the table for a = 0,05 (0.291) then reject Ho, which means there is a relationship of respect for performance. Linear and quadratic trend surfaces were computed for textural, carbonate, clast, and heavy mineral properties of the Catfish Creek (Nissouri Stadial), Port Stanley (Port Bruce Stadial), Tavistock (Port Bruce Stadial), and Wentworth (Port Huron Stadial) tills.Catfish Creek Till pebble grade material provided trend surfaces reflecting the underlying bedrock. However, an overall lack of regional trends in Catfish Creek Till is consistent with field observations that indicate remarkable uniformity for this till over several hundred square kilometres, a phenomenon that is believed to reflect the high energy of this ice sheet. Carbonates in Port Stanley Till were found to increase from east to west as the Silurian–Devonian contact was crossed. Tavistock Till was found to have increasing sand content and decreasing silt content from northwest to southeast owing to incorporation of underlying glaciofluvial sediments; pebble trends reflect the underlying bedrock for the most part. Wentworth Till trend surfaces for carbonates and pebbles show high dolomite near the Niagara Escarpment to the east and northeast with a dilution of dolomite and influx of limestone to the southwest. The strong relationship of the trend surfaces to substrate materials indicates the basal nature of the tills and the local origin of most glacial deposits. Pebble lithologies provide much information about local bedrock and drift prospectors should give close consideration to coarse fragments.

This paper attempts to ascertain the impacts of population density on the spread and severity of COVID-19 in Malaysia. Besides describing the spatio-temporal contagion risk of the virus, ultimately, it seeks to test the hypothesis that higher population density results in exacerbated COVID-19 virulence in the community. The population density of 143 districts in Malaysia, as per data from Malaysia’s 2010 population census, was plotted against cumulative COVID-19 cases and infection rates of COVID-19 cases, which were obtained from Malaysia’s Ministry of Health official website. The data of these three variables were collected between 19 January 2020 and 31 December 2020. Based on the observations, districts that have high population densities and are highly inter-connected with neighbouring districts, whether geographically, socio-economically, or infrastructurally, tend to experience spikes in COVID-19 cases within weeks of each other. Using a parametric approach of the Pearson correlation, population density was found to have a moderately strong relationship to cumulative COVID-19 cases (p-value of 0.000 and R2 of 0.415) and a weak relationship to COVID-19 infection rates (p-value of 0.005 and R2 of 0.047). Consequently, we provide several non-pharmaceutical lessons, including urban planning strategies, as passive containment measures that may better support disease interventions against future contagious diseases.

Background: Among all aspects of nursing care, the spiritual one is the issue that has received little attention. Having spiritual wellbeing (SWB) is a necessity to provide appropriate spiritual care. In addition to, the Emotional intelligence (EI) is one of the most important factors in social and professional success and is essential for effective nursing practice. Therefore, aim of study was evaluating the Relationship between SWB and EI among nursing students. Methods: The sample of this descriptive-analytic study consisted of 136 nursing students studying at Bam University of Medical Sciences selected by convenience sampling method. The Bradberry and Greaves 28-item EI scale, Palutzian and Ellison SWB Scale were used to assess the total score of EI and SWB. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation), Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA with SPSS v18. Results: The mean score of SWB and EI were 97.1±11.56 and 123.4 + 123.6, respectively. The mean score dimensions of SWB include (religious wellbeing 47.9±6.6, existential wellbeing 49.1±5.7) and dimensions EI: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management were 27.2 3 3.2, 36.2 2 5.4, 25.1 + 3.5 and 35.1 + 4.5, respectively. The majority of students have reported moderate level SWB and high level of emotional intelligence. The factors influencing their level of SWB were academic semester and age (p<0.05). Conclusion: Although the level of students' EI and SWB were at a desirable level in this study, due to the nature of nursing and the interaction between nurses and patients, providing a suitable learning environment for the development of EI is essential. Therefore, it is suggested that nursing policymakers should develop appropriate educational programs for nurses and provide curriculum for students to promote their knowledge and skills. Abstract Background In recent years new forms of syndromic surveillance that use data from the Internet have been proposed. These have been developed to assist the early prediction of epidemics in various cases and diseases. It has been found that these systems are accurate in monitoring and predicting outbreaks before these are observed in population and, therefore, they can be used as a complement to other methods. In this research, our aim is to examine a highly infectious disease, measles, as there is no extensive literature on forecasting measles using Internet data, Methods This research has been conducted with official data on measles for 5 years (2013–2018) from the competent authority of the European Union (European Center of Disease and Prevention - ECDC) and data obtained from Google Trends by using scripts coded in Python. We compared regression models forecasting the development of measles in the five countries. Results Results show that measles can be estimated and predicted through Google Trends in terms of time, volume and the overall spread. The combined results reveal a strong relationship of measles cases with the predicted cases (correlation coefficient R= 0.779 in two-tailed significance p< 0.01). The mean standard error was relatively low 45.2 (12.19%) for the combined results. However, major differences and deviations were observed for countries with a relatively low impact of measles, such as the United Kingdom and Spain. For these countries, alternative models were tested in an attempt to improve the results. Conclusions The estimation of measles cases from Google Trends produces acceptable results and can help predict outbreaks in a robust and sound manner, at least 2 months in advance. Python scripts can be used individually or within the framework of an integrated Internet surveillance system for tracking epidemics as the one addressed here.
