This paper presents an analysis of the quality of groundwater that are exploited in the territory of the Mesic village in the factory "Moja voda" on the slopes of the Vrsac Mountains. Spring waters formed in the Tertiary and Quaternary sediments are situated near the high-grade metamorphic complex border of Vrsac Mountains that represents the northernmost prolongation of Serbo-macedonian massif to the West and low-grade metamorphic complex of the Ranovac-Vlasina-Osogovo terrane to the East. Groundwater is assigned on the basis of chemical analyses to the group of hydrocarbonate-calcium-magnesium non-carbonated low-mineral water, whose physical properties and chemical composition is the consequence of geological conditions of the environment through which circulates. The dominant anions and cations (HCO3 -, Ca2 + and Mg2 +) accumulate in groundwater of Mesic as a product of weathering of silicate minerals present in igneous and metamorphic complex of Vrsac Mountains. The specificity of these waters is an adequate amount of selenium in its composition related to the Tertiary and Quaternary clay deposits which have the pyrite and organic matter, as well as silica, whose presence in the water is a consequence of weathering (hydrolysis) of silicate minerals, particularly feldspar. Water from the exploration wells is classified as ?B reserve? according to the applicable criteria.

The aim of this study was to determine the quality of the mineral water from Vitinicki Kiseljak (Nos. 1 to 9, except No. 3) and Kozluk springs that are located near the town of Zvornik in the northwestern Republic of Srpska, BIH. The results were compared with those presented in previous reaserches in order to determine if the water quality has changed and if the water is still suitable for therapeutic purposes. The physicochemical (temperature, odor, pH value, total hardness, electro-conductivity, evaporated residue, suspended materials, chemical consumption of oxygen and KMnO4) and chemical (Fe2+, Mg2+, Mn2+,Zn2+, K+, Ca2+, Cu2+, Al3+, HCO3-, Cl-, CO32-, SiO2, SO42- and S2-) characteristics were analyzed. The obtained results showed that the waters could be classified as hydrocarbonate-sodium-chloride with the mineralization of 2450-5830 mg/dm3. It can also be concluded that the waters are rich in calcium, magnesium and iron, as well as that those are acidic waters due to the presence of free carbon dioxide. In the samples from Kozluk and Kiseljak No. 2 springs oxygen-sulphide is present as well. The ideal ratio of the minerals in these waters is suitable for therapeutical purposes.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SDN Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tematik. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah guru kelas di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi dalam setiap siklus. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini disimpulkan bahwa supervisi kelompok dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru kelas di SDN Tlambah 2 Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang.   Kata kunci: kolaboratif, kompetensi, tematik     Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of increasing the competency of teachers in SDN Tlambah 2, Karangpenang Sampang District, Spreading thematic learning planning in improving the quality of thematic learning. Research subjects in this action research are low grade teachers in Tlambah 2 Public Elementary School, Karangpenang Sampang District. School action research means it is carried out in two cycles, using the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection in each cycle. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. From this school action research concludes that group supervision with a collaborative approach can improve the competence of classroom teachers in SDN Tlambah 2, Karangpenang Sampang District.   Keywords: collaborative, competence, thematic

Abstract BACKGROUND Cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), are a class of compounds found in marijuana. Numerous studies in adults have examined cannabinoid use in management of cancer-related symptoms such as nausea, anorexia, and pain. Less is known about the use in the pediatric oncology population. METHODS A prospective observational study has been ongoing since 2016 at Children’s Hospital Colorado to evaluate cannabinoids’ impact using PedsQL™ modules on quality of life of pediatric patients with central nervous system (CNS) tumors who are 2–18 years old. Laboratory assessments of T-cell activity and pharmacokinetics of CBD, THC and associated metabolites are in process. Diaries with exploratory information on cannabinoid use patterns are being collected. RESULTS Thirty-three patients (14:19; male:female) have been enrolled with a median age of 6.4 years (range, 2.9–17.7 years). The most common tumor type in enrolled patients is embryonal tumors (13/33; 39%). Nine (27%) patients have low-grade glial/glioneuronal tumors, and eight (24%) had high-grade/diffuse midline gliomas. The remaining patients had ependymoma or craniopharyngioma. The median time on cannabinoids is 9 months. Most (n=20) patients have used oral products with CBD and THC. One patient continues on cannabinoid therapy in follow up. Preliminary immune function analyses identified impaired neutrophil superoxide anion production and chemotaxis in patients taking cannabinoids at early time points on therapy. CONCLUSIONS Families of children with various CNS tumors are pursuing cannabinoid therapy for both antitumor and supportive care purposes. Analysis of the impact of cannabinoids on patients’ quality of life is ongoing.

AbstractOrganic meat products are gaining consumer interest worldwide. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of organic and conventional meat origin on nutritional determinants of the following pork meat cuts: loin, ham, and shoulder. Nutritional value of meat was based on selected indicators such as proximate composition, the concentration of cholesterol, vitamin E content and minerals and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, iron, and zinc, and the composition of fatty acids. The results of this study demonstrated that higher contents of protein and selected mineral compounds, as well as lower vitamin E concentration and different fatty acids (i.e., C12:0, C17:0, C17:1 n-7, C18:3 n-6, C24:0 and total n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA)) distinguish organic pork meat cuts from the conventional counterparts. The organically meat parts, especially the shoulder, were identified as a better source of copper, calcium, iron and zinc, while organic ham and loin had more potassium. On the other hand, organic hams were shown to have lower content of vitamin E in comparison to their conventional equivalents present. Also, in organic shoulders showed a higher n-6/n-3 ratio compared to meat of conventional origin.
