A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of occasionally weak compatible expansive mappings satisfying a significantly enriched implicit function is proved in symmetric spaces which generalizes several previously known results. Some related results and illustrative examples are also discussed.

The aim of this paper is to obtain some new common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in symmetric spaces satisfying an implicit function. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are furnished. Our results generalize and extend some recent results contained in Ali and Imdad [Sarajevo J. Math. 4(17)(2008), 269-285] to symmetric spaces and consequently a host of metrical common fixed theorems are generalized and improved. We state an integral type fixed point theorem in symmetric space. In the process, we also derive a fixed point result on common fixed point in probabilistic symmetric spaces.

In this paper, we establish a common fixed point theorem for three pairs of self mappings in semi-metric space using compatible mappings of type (R) which improves and extends similar known results in the literature.

AbstractA general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly subsequentially continuous mappings (recently introduced) satisfying a significant estimated implicit function is proved. An extension of this result is thereby obtained. Our results assert the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points in several cases.

We prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of mappings. Also, we prove a common fixed point theorem for pairs of self-mappings along with weakly commuting property.

The purpose of this work is to extend the Knaster–Tarski fixed-point theorem to the wider field of reflexive digraph. We give also a DeMarr-type common fixed-point theorem in this context. We then explore some interesting applications of the obtained results in modular function spaces.

In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in Non-Archimedean Menger PM-spaces employing common property (E.A). Some examples are derived which demonstrate the validity of our results. As an application to our main result, we present a fixed point theorem for four finite families of self mappings. Our results improve and extend several existing results in the literature.

Our aim of this paper is to prove a new general common fixed point theorem for two pair of mappings under a different set of conditions using the idea of weakly compatible mappings satisfying a general class of contractions defined by an implicit relation in the frame work of parametric metric space, which unify, extend and generalize most of the existing relevant common fixed point theorems from the literature. Some related results and illustrative an example to highlight the realized improvements is also furnished.
