МЕЛАТОНІН ЯК ГЕПАТОПРОТЕКТОР ПРИ ЦУКРОВОМУДІА- БЕТІ - Дана робота містить огляд даних літератури щодо фізіологічної ролі мелатоніну та значення мелатонінових рецепторів у реалізації його ефектів. Показано вплив мелатоніну на синтез інсуліну, профіль глюкози та його значення в патогенезі цукрового діабету. Також розглянуто можливі механізми дії мелатоніну як фармакологічного препарату, а саме, його антиоксидантний ефект, вплив на систему оксиду азоту, взаємодію із специфічними мелатоніновими рецепторами та інші. Всі ці механізми, ймовірно, лежать в основі його гепатопро- текторного впливу при цукровому діабеті.<br />МЕЛАТОНИН КАК ГЕПАТОПРОТЕКТОР ПРИ САХАРНОМ ДИАБЕТЕ - Эта работа содержит обзор данных литературы о физиологической роли мелатонина и значение мелатонино- вых рецепторов в реализации его эффектов. Показано влияние мелатонина на синтез инсулина, профиль глюкозы и его значение в патогенезе сахарного диабета. Также рассмотрены возможные механизмы действия мелатонина как фармакологического препарата, а именно, его антиоксидантный эффект, влияние на систему оксида азота, взаимодействие со специфическими мелатониновыми рецепторами и другие. Все эти механизмы, вероятно, лежат в основе его гепа- топротекторного действия при сахарном диабете.<br />MELATONIN AS HEPATOPROTECTOR AT DIABETES - This paper reviews scientific information about physiological role of melatonin and melatonin receptors value in implementing its effects. The effect of melatonin on the synthesis of insulin, glucose profile and its role in the pathogenesis of diabetes are also discussed. The predictable mechanisms of melatonin’s’ action of as a pharmacological drug, namely its antioxidant effects, effects on nitric oxide system, interaction with specific melatonin receptors, and others are shown. , , , , The aim: To determine a possible role of nitric oxide system as one of the pathogenesis links in Stevens-Johnson syndrome depending on the severity of disease progression. Material and methods: We examined 11 patients with Stevens-Johnson syndrome. The function of nitric oxide system (NO - NOS) in blood serum was examined. Results: During the study of nitric oxide system (NO-NOS) in patients with SJS, it was observed that NO2¯ level was increased by 1.53 times, NO3¯ level – by 3.33 times, activity of total NOS – by 5.78 times, constitutive (cNOS) – by 1.81 times and inducible (iNOS) – by 13.36 times. Conclusions: The intensity of nitric oxide system function was studied in patients with Stevens-Johnson syndrome and dependence of changes of its parameters from the clinical signs of disease was detected. It was found that the determination of nitrite and nitrate anion levels in blood serum can be used for the purpose of predicting the disease course and choosing the therapy methods for the patients with SJS.
