This research aimed to test RME learning with an effective scientific approach to improving mathematical literacy and self-efficacy, obtaining an overview of the mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment results that has high, medium and low self-efficacy as well as student difficulties in learning RME with a scientific approach. This research using mix method concurrent embedded with the subject of research is students class VIII. The research begins with a mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment and self-efficacy inventory then performed RME learning in experimental class and conventional learning in control class. Quantitative analysis was conducted to test the effectiveness of learning and deepened with the interview as a qualitative analysis. Learning RME with a scientific approach effective is marked by the achievement of classical completeness, the proportion of students' mathematical literacy, self-efficacy and the difference in pre-post students’ mathematical literacy on RME learning better than conventional learning. The results of students’ mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment fit the criteria of self-efficacy students except for medium mathematical literacy that having high self-efficacy. Student difficulties in RME learning with the scientific approach are based on the results of mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment, namely language skills problem, the capacity to understand, create strategies, and create the algorithm.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan modle pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan hasil belajar yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada materi Kubus dan Balok,siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Kotapinang T.A 2017/2018.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP N 2 Kotapinang yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan instrumen berupa tes pilihan berganda yang telah valid dan reliabilitas tinggi yaitu 0,739 untuk soal pretest dan 0,988 untuk soal postest. Dari hasil analisis data  pretest kelas eksperimen I diperoleh L0 = 0,142<  Ltabel = 0,148 dan data pretest kelas eksperimen II diperoleh L0 = 0,134<  Ltabel = 0,148. Maka dapat disimpulkan data pretest kedua kelas adalah berdistribusi normaL.Dari uji homogenitas data postest diperoleh bahwa kedua sampel homogen yaitu dengan Fhitung = 1,028 < Ftabel = 1,76.Setelah dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji t maka diperoleh thitung = 1,766 dan ttabel = 1,666. Hal ini berarti thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Kotapinang.Kata kunci : hasil belajar matematika,model TGT,model TPS ABSTRACTThis research aims to finds the difference of mathematics achievement thought by cooperative type of TGT (Teams Games Tournament) and TPS(Think Pair Share) on cube and beam material. The subject of this research is the entire class VIII of the junior high shoool of the school year 2017/2018. The design used in this research is quasi experiments and the data coollection technique is objective test that have been valid and high reliability that is 0,739 for pretest and 0,988 for postest.From the analysis of pretest data of experiment class 1 obtained L0 = 0,142<  Ltabel = 0,148 and for pretest data of experiment class II obtainedL0 = 0,134<  Ltabel = 0,148. It can be concluded the pretest data of both classes are normally distributed. From the homogenity test of postest data obtained that two homogeneous samples areFhitung = 1,028 < Ftabel = 1,76. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam bagi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta dengan spesifikasi model dan isi yang ditetapkan, (2) mengetahui kelayakan produk e-learning, (3) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan e-learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dan diadaptasi dari model Alessi dan Trollip. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi tahap perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan sebagai berikut:  (1) produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah berhasil dikembangkan dengan sebuah sistem manajemen pembelajaran (LMS) online yang dibuat dengan software aplikasi moodle. E-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah dikembangkan untuk pokok bahasan sistem tata surya dan kehidupan di bumi; (2) produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam telah memenuhi kriteria dan dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan siswa, kelayakannya mencapai rerata skor 4,15 dengan kategori baik; (3) keefektifan pembelajaran IPA lebih baik setelah menggunakan e-learning dibuktikan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan e-learning.Kata kunci: e-learning, pendekatan ilmiah, ilmu pengetahuan alam. DEVELOPING OF E-LEARNING BASED ON SCIENTIFIC APPROACH ON NATURAL SCIENCES LESSON AT SMPN 5 YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop e-learning based on scientific approaches on natural science subjects for students grade VIII of SMPN 5 Yogyakarta with model specifications and specified contents, (2) determine the feasibility of e-learningproduct (3) determine student learning achievement after using e-learning. This research was a research and development (R&D) adapted from models of Alessi &Trollip. The development procedure included the planning, design, and development. This study shows the following results. (1) E-learning-based on scientificapproaches was developed with a learning management system (LMS) online software applications created with Moodle. E-learning is developed based on a scientific approach for the subject of the solar system and life on Earth; (2) e-learning based on scientific approaches for natural science subjects is appropriate as a medium of learning based on the judgement from media expert, materials experts, and students, with the feasibility with mean score of 4.15 with both categories; (3) the learning achievement of class VIII student of SMPN 5 Yogyakarta increases after using e-learning.Keywords: e-learning, scientific approach, natural sciences

The purpose of the use of problem-based learning model with the scientific approach is to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses a class action research design. The subject of this research is all class VIII-C SMP Wahid Hasyim Karanggeneng Methods of data collection is done by observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the management of teachers in this study increased in every meeting with both, as well as student activity also increased good. The use of problem-based learning model with this scientific approach can help to improve student learning outcomes. And students responded positively to the use of problem-based learning model with this scientific approach.Keywords: problem-based learning, scientific approach, learning outcomes

Open learning model as well as conventional learning model is a learning model that is able to enable students in acquiring knowledge and learning experiences. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of learning result between students taught by using model of open matter problem and conventional learning model on the subject of wake up space. This research was conducted at SMP Al Badri Arjasa Jember in February 2018. The research subjects were 70 students in two classes namely class VIII - A and class VIII - B. This research uses experimental design that is, one experiment class and one control class. The results obtained in the study are learning outcomes using open-ended learning model and conventional learning model. T-test conducted shows that there are differences. Average learning outcomes of experimental class students after treatment was 69.657 while the control class learning outcome was 56.886. The conclusion that can be drawn from data analysis and discussion result is difference of student learning result by using model of open learning problem with conventional learning model, and model of open learning problem is suitable to be applied to the subject of student room of SMP Al Badri Arjasa Jember.

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness and differences of scientific approach with open-ended problem based learning worksheet and scientific approach. The population in this study was students of class VII of SMP Negeri 17 Pamulang, South Tangerang. The sample of this study was determined randomly. They were two classes and the results were VII.3 and VII.4. To determine the effectiveness, one sample t-test was used. To discover the difference of effectiveness, MANOVA (Hotteling's Trace) test was used. The results show that (1) Scientific approach with open-ended problem based learning worksheet and scientific approach are effective viewed from learning achievement, creative thinking ability, interests and mathematic self-efficacy (2) There is no difference in effectiveness between scientific approach with open-ended problem based learning worksheet with scientific approach viewed from learning achievement, creative thinking ability, interests and mathematic self-efficacy (3) Scientific approach with open-ended problem based learning worksheet are more effective than scientific approaches viewed from student achievement

ABSTRAK Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan openended berbantuan wingeom dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan differentiated instruction berbantuan wingeom di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII  yang berjumlah 9 kelas kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 dan VIII-2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest yang berbentuk uraian soal. Pretest digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa. Sedangkan posttest digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji t 2 pihak dengan dk = 70 dan  = 0,05, maka diperoleh thitung = 2,407 dan ttabel = 1,994 sehingga thitung> ttabel yaitu 2,407 > 1,994  maka Ha diterima, dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Open Ended berbantuan wingeom dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Differentiated Instruction berbantuan wingeom.Kata Kunci : Open Ended, Differentiated Instruction, Komunikasi Matematis, Wingeom ABSTRACT The type of this research is quasi-experiment. This study aims to determine the differences in the ability of mathematical communication between students taught using the open ended approach wingeom assisted with students taught using a differentiated instruction approach wingeom assisted at grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Population in this research is all class VIII  which amounts to 9 class then do sampling by using random sampling technique. Samples taken as many as 2 classes of classes VIII-1 and VIII-2, each of which amounted to 36 students. The instrument of data collection used is pretest and posttest which in the form of problem description. Pretest is used to determine students’ early skills. While posttest is used to know the  difference of students’ mathematical communication ability after given different treatment. The data analysis of experimental class by using t-test two tail with dk = 70 and significance level  = 0.05, it was obtained that tcalculation= 2,407 and ttable = 1,994so tcalculation>ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The result showed that there is different in student’s mathematical communications skill with by using Open Ended scientific approach aided Wingeom and Differentiated Instruction scientific approach aided Wingeom.Keyword      : Open Ended, Differentiated Instruction, Mathematical Communications, Wingeom

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis kesulitan matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika terutama pada materi segitiga dan segiempat. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP di Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes tulis berupa esai yang berjumlah 5 soal. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analisis deskriptif, agar dapat mengetahui kesalahan dan kekeliruan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal. Pengolahan data dihitung kedalam bentuk rata-rata skor siswa yang diperoleh dengan analisis berdasarkan tahapan Van Hiele. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa ketercapaian siswa dalam memecahkan soal materi segiempat dan segitiga berdasarkan tahapan berpikir Van Hiele terbanyak berada pada tahap 1 (analisis) sebesar 87,87%. Ketercapaian berpikir pada tahapan Van Hiele yang baik baru mencapai tahapan visualisasi (tahap 0) sebesar 12,12%. Pada tahap 2 (deduksi informal) dan tahap 3 (deduksi) siswa belum mampu mencapai tahapan tersebut. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi segiempat dan segitiga masih tergolong rendah sehingga terdapat kesulitan dan kendala bagi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal pada materi segiempat dan segitiga berdasarkan tahapan Van Hiele. Kata kunci: kesulitan siswa, segiempat dan segitiga, tahap berpikir Van Hiele.   ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to analyze student’s mathematical difficulties in solving mathematics problems, especially in quadrilateral and triangular material. The subject of this study were students of class VIII of Junior high school in Bandung. The instrument used were written tests in the form of essays consists of 5 questions. This research method uses descriptive analysis of students mistakes in solving problems. The data is analysis based on Van Hiele theory. The results of this study stated that the students' achievement in solving rectangular and triangle material problems based on Van Hiele's thinking stage was mostly in stage 1 (analysis) of 87.87%. The achievement of Van Hiele's good thinking stages has only reached the visualization stage (stage 0) of 12.12%. For stage 2 (informal deduction) and stage 3 (deduction) no student has been able to reach that stage. Thus it can be seen that the level of student understanding of rectangular and triangular material is still relatively low so that there is difficulty in solving students' problems on rectangular and triangular material based on Van Hiele's thinking stages. Based on observations made by researchers at MTs Kebunrejo Genteng, it turns out that there are still many weaknesses and obstacles faced, especially in learning (SKI). This was strengthened based on the results of interviews with some eighth grade students, their understanding in the learning process was felt to be lacking because most of them assumed that subjects (SKI) were subjects that tended to be less interesting and boring, because students had to memorize years or names. figure. Because it is considered a boring subject which in the end has an impact on the students' lack of understanding in receiving the subject matter, this can be seen in the odd semester scores on the material of the Islamic dynasty. This can be proven from 34 students of which 14 students scored below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), namely 7. Based on the above problems, the researcher intends to describe the problem by using a learning medium that can help students understand the learning material. The learning media used were documentary films. The results of research on the use of documentary film learning media in class VIII C students at MTs Kebunrejo Genteng are that students are easier to understand and memorize Islamic dinasty subject matter (Ayyubiyah), student interest in learning is better than before, and students can achieve the above score (KKM) that is the value 7.
