Recent BABAR results for decays of B-mesons to combinations of non-charm mesons are presented. This includes B decays to two vector mesons, B → η′(π, K, ρ) modes, and a comprehensive Dalitz Plot analysis of B → KKK decays.

We present results on the measurement of the I=½ Kπ S-wave through a model independent partial wave analysis of ηc decays to K0sK+π− and K+K−π0 produced in two-photon interactions. We also perform Dalitz plot analyses of the J/Ψ decays to π+π−π0, K+K−π0 and K0sK±π∓ produced in the initial state radiation process.

Abstract CP violation in charm decay was observed in the decays D0→ P±P∓ of a D0 meson to two pseudoscalars. When interpreted within the SM, the results imply that the ratio of the relevant rescattering amplitudes has a magnitude and phase that are both of O(1). We discuss ways to probe similar ratios in D0→ V±P∓ decays, where V is a vector that decays to two pseudoscalars, from the Dalitz-plot analysis of time-integrated three-body decays. Compared to two-body decays, three-body decays have the advantage that the complete system can be solved without the need for time-dependent CP violation measurements or use of correlated $$ {D}^0-{\overline{D}}^0 $$ D 0 − D ¯ 0 production. We discuss the decays D0→ π+π−π0 and D0→ K+K−π0 as examples by considering a toy model of only two overlapping charged resonances, treating the underlying pseudo two-body decays in full generality.

In this conference presentation I discuss CLEO-c opportunities in Dalitz plot analyzes with the data samples available now and projected by the end of CESR-c run. Using 281 pb-1 of e+e- collisions at mass of ψ(3770) we present results of the Dalitz plot analysis of D+ → π-π+π+. Using the CLEO-c and CLEO III samples of 5 pb-1, accrued at mass of ψ(2S), we study three body decays of χcJ produced in the radiative decay ψ(2S) → γχcJ, where J=0,1,2. A clear signal from at least one of χcJ is found in eight final states: π+π-η, π+π-η′, K+K-π0, [Formula: see text], ηK+K-, [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text]. For these modes we measured or set an upper limit on the branching fraction. A Dalitz plot analysis is performed on three modes χc1 → π+π-η, K+K-π0, and [Formula: see text].

We investigate theB0→J/ψηK0andB+→J/ψηK+decay by using the Dalitz plot analysis. As we know there are tree, penguin, emission, and emission-annihilation diagrams for these decay modes in the factorization approach. The transition matrix element is factorized into aB→ηKform factor multiplied byJ/ψdecay constant and also aB→Kform factor multiplied byJ/ψηdecay constant. According to QCD factorization approach and using the Dalitz plot analysis, we calculate the branching ratios of theB0→J/ψηK0andB+→J/ψηK+three-body decay in view of theη-η'mixing and obtain the value of the(9.22-1.47+2.67)×10-5, while the experimental results of them are(8±4)×10-5and(10.8±3.3)×10-5, respectively. In this research we also analyze theB(Bs)→ηcπK*decay which is similar to the previous decay, but there is no experimental data for the last decay. Since for calculations of theB(Bs)→ηcπK*decay we use assumptions of theB→J/ψηKdecay, we hope that if this decay will be measured by the LHCb in the future, the experimental results will be in agreement with our calculations.

In this paper, we investigate the three-body decays of [Formula: see text] meson to [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] final state mesons, using a simple model based on the framework of the factorization approach. As we know, there are tree and emission-annihilation diagrams for these decay modes in the factorization approach. We calculate the total [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] branching ratios, including the nonresonant and resonances contributions, and in view of the [Formula: see text] mixing, by applying the Dalitz plot analysis and obtain [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], while the experimental values are [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], respectively. The branching ratios obtained in our model are partly compatible with the experimental results.
