A variety of teaching and learning of Islamic Education is one of the elements that is been practiced by the Islamic Education teachers (GPI) in Johor. Therefore, this research is mainly focused on the venue for implementation the teaching and learning process of the subject, in order to create an effective and innovative learning session. Hence, in this study, the main data are supported by analysis documents and observation which collected from formal interviews of seven participants which are been considered as the main respondent. Other than that forty-two informants were identified in order to obtain more information as the supported to the main respondent. The transcript of the interviews data are analysed via N' Vivo 7.0 software to create a theme, sub-themes and sub-themes. The outcome of this study showed that there are five main areas that make up the pattern and most frequent areas of teaching and learning process are prayer room, library, classrooms, school region and audio visual room. This case study creates an outcome for Teaching and Learning Points of Islamic Education Model

In the learning process, passion and interest are one of the most important dynamic aspects. With the enthusiasm and interest in students, learning results will be maximized. Thus, the teacher must know the form of enthusiasm and interest that how should be used to foster student enthusiasm for learning. Given that by providing enthusiasm and interest, students can develop activities and initiatives and can maintain perseverance in conducting learning activities and so students do not feel bored with the subject of Fiqh. These conditions will affect students' understanding of the subject of jurisprudence. If students truly understand and practice what is contained in it that is fiqh, then students will be able to carry out religious commands properly according to the commands of Allah SWT. Departing from the facts and descriptions above, the researchers are interested in studying and conducting research on "Madrasah Teacher's SWOT In Fostering the Spirit of Learning Jurisprudence in Millennial Generation in Tulungagung". In teaching and learning activities, as a teacher of Islamic education, he must be able to optimize his role when in class. One of them is as a motivator, meaning that teachers should be able to provide encouragement to students to be passionate and active in learning. In an effort to provide motivation, the teacher must be able to analyze the motives behind the students who are always lazy to learn and decline in school performance. Motivation can be effective if it is done by paying attention to students' needs. Diversification of ways of learning provides reinforcement and so on, can also provide motivation for students to be more passionate in learning. Besides the lesson material delivered without regard to the use of the method will also make it difficult for teachers to achieve learning objectives.

However, most studies revealed that students learning Islamic Education (PAI) for morethan 12 years from elementary school to university were failed in accomplishing the objective. Itwas shown by their inability in reading, writing, interpreting, and comprehending Al Qur’an.Moreover, the obvious implementation of the Islamic Education (PAI), the five-time prayers, on thereal life was still far from the expectation. Artikel ini cuba mengupas sifat dan peranan keperibadian Guru Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam (GCPI) terhadap pelajar dalam meningkatkan keberkesanan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di sekolah menengah dalam subjek Pendidikan Islam. Kupasan sifat dan peranan ini berdasarkan kajian yang dilaksanakan di beberapa buah sekolah menengah di Malaysia dalam bentuk soal selidik pelajar. Dalam kajian ini, beberapa kumpulan pelajar berlainan sekolah diminta menilai ciri keperibadian GCPI terhadap pelajar mereka masing-masing dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Instrumen soal selidik pelajar digunakan bagi mendapatkan data kajian. Data ini kemudiannya dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS version 16.0. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan min keseluruhan persepsi pelajar terhadap keperibadian GCPI dan motivasi mereka berada pada paras yang tinggi. Min keperibadian GCPI kepada penampilan adalah 4.50, keperibadian kepada pelajar (min = 4.00), dan motivasi pelajar (min = 4.30). Begitu juga sifat keperibadian ini mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan tinggi dan sederhana dengan motivasi pelajar dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran mereka di dalam bilik darjah. Kata kunci: Keperibadian; penampilan; motivasi pelajar This paper investigates the role of attitude and attributes of excellent Islamic Education teacher’s in enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process of the subject in secondary schools. The investigation was carried out in eight secondary schools throughout Malaysia. A set of questionnaires was distributed among secondary schoool students to evaluate the attitude of the excellent Islamic Education teachers in the classroom. Data was then analysed using SPSS version 16.0. It was found that the total mean of students’ perception on the attitude of the teachers and their motivation was at high level: i.e the mean attitude of teachers personality (mean = 4.50), attitude toward students (mean = 4.00), and student’s motivation (mean = 4.30). In addition, teachers’ attitude has an apparent relationship with student’s motivation during their teaching and learning process in the classroom. The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to improve students’ vocabulary achievement through Clustering Technique. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VIII-B SMP Katolik Trisakti 2 Medan that consisted of 32 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were vocabulary tests for quantitative data and diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet for qualitative data. Students’ score kept improving in every test. In the first cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 64.68. And in the second cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 79.85. Based on diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, teaching and learning process had done effectively showed the improvement. Every student was studied actively. And from the research can be concluded that Clustering Technique can improve students’ achievement in vocabulary.

<span lang="EN-US">The success of teaching and learning activities can be known from the results of teacher performance in preparing character-based lesson plans and implementing them in the teaching and learning process in class. This school action research aims to see whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in developing character-based lesson plans and their implementation in teaching and learning process. This research uses 2 cycles. The research procedure has four stages of activities</span><span lang="IN"> are</span><span lang="EN-US">, planning, action, observation and evaluation</span><span lang="IN">,</span><span lang="EN-US"> and reflecting. The study was conducted at SDN 07 Situjuah Gadang. The subject of the research is the class teacher and subject teacher, which totals 7 </span><span lang="IN">teachers.</span><span lang="EN-US"> Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.</span><span lang="EN-US">Based on the results of data analysis that has been stated, that the data obtained from observing the ability of teachers to prepare character-based lesson plans in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing character-based lesson plans.</span>

It influenced the internalization of Islamic Educationvalues to students. According to the above background, contextual approach was assumed to create amore meaningful and effective teaching and learning process. The study revealed that most teachersdeveloped instructional material merely based on Teacher Association for Islamic EducationReference, a discrepancy between lesson plan and the implementation was found due to insufficienttime and too-much material, and a problem in applying various methods was found due to student’sbasic competence diversity ranging from the 75-80% to 20-25% mastery creating less conduciveatmosphere for effective teaching and learning process. This article discusses the importance of vision and mission of the Islamic Education Lecturers (IELs) in teaching and learning (TnL). This study was fully conducted through qualitative method via case study. Six IELs were selected as participants and willing to be interviewed, and the data from the interview were supported by three Heads of Islamic Education Unit, 12 lecturers and 12 students. The data were triangulated with the data obtained through observation and document analysis. The data were analysed through N’Vivo software to generate a pattern of themes and characteristics of the vision and mission in TnL. The result found that there were six elements of vision and mission emphasized by the IELs in TnL. Five of them had formed a pattern. That five elements were; students receiving and appreciating, TnL objective achieved, spreading da’wah, moulding students attidtude and thinking, and achieving success in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, a model which is named as Model of the Vision and Mission Practice for the Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers was deloped. From the overall view, the emphasis on achieving mission and vision helps the IELs to successfully conduct TnL inside and outside classroom.
