Background: Assessment of fetal health plays the most important role in prenatal care because of influence of the prediction of gestational outcome. One of the main aims of routine antenatal care is to identify the ‘ at risk ‘ fetus in order to apply clinical interventions which could results in reduced perinatal morbidity and mortality. Doppler ultrasound is a non invasive technique whereby the movement of blood is studied by detecting the change in frequence of reflected sound, Doppler blood flow velocity waves form of fetal side (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery ...) and maternal side ( uterine arteries) are discussed and monograms for routine practice are presented. Recently this method is important tool for qualifying high risk pregnancies and help early forecasts the health of the babies and mothers disorder. Doppler sonography in obstetrics is a widely accepted functional method of examining the prediction of gestational outcome. Key words: Doppler, umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, uterine arteries

The interest of the eight major organizations of health care professionals was not in debating the philosophical, ethical, moral or religious issues surrounding abortion. The members of the organizations differ on how to balance the woman's privacy right against the state's interests in maternal and fetal health, and in particular about whether the state has a compelling interest in fetal health before viability. Given the diversity of views, the brief neither endorsed nor opposed the Supreme Court's holding in Roe v. Wade that the state's interest in fetal health becomes compelling at viability.

In the context of concerns about the effects of secondhand smoke on fetal health and the health of children, North American health promotion interventions have focused on reducing tobacco consumption among women to a greater extent than men. This is problematic when the health effects of men’s secondhand smoke in family environments are considered. This article examines this gendered phenomenon in terms of a history of cigarette consumption that positions smoking as masculine. Furthermore, it demonstrates the value of addressing men’s smoking using a gendered methodology, with an emphasis on fatherhood as an expression of masculine identity. Garnering health promotion programs to promote a culture of masculinity that is less individualistic, and defined in terms of responsibility and care for others, in addition to the self, has the potential to render men’s smoking problematic and challenge the historic linkages between smoking and masculinity.

The dynamics and level of perinatal mortality over the past decade testified to the fact that in Almaty it has a steady downward trend to 8.8 ‰ by 2019. In the structure of perinatal mortality, most of it falls on antenatal (5.5-6.5 ‰); about a third - for early neonatal mortality (3.2 to 2.3 ‰). In the structure of the causes of neonatal losses, there was a steady decrease in respiratory and cardiovascular disorders by 2.3-3.8 times - from 5 to 1.3 ‰, congenital anomalies from 4.4 to 0.9 ‰, neonatal losses from infectious diseases remain stable. The persisting risks of infectious pathology, especially in an unprecedented situation during a pandemic, dictate the need to revise approaches to providing perinatal care to the population and develop a new concept of perinatal care with significant changes in approaches to infection control, thedevelopment of preventive perinatology with more effective antenatal fetal health care.

The possibility that employment itself, with all its rewards, both intrinsic and monetary, could be harmful to maternal and fetal health is always a matter for concern. When that suggestion is made about an archetypical female form of employment (nursing), and a specialist group devoted to the health care of women and infants, it is deeply alarming. So the recent publication which states, "our results show that strenuous working conditions are an important risk factor for preterm birth among US nurses," has been widely reported and discussed. The study was a case-control study with cases and controls drawn from respondents to a cross-sectional mailed survey of members of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
