Coping is one form of strategy to deal with stigma and all forms of social pressure that lead obstacles to the growth of young people with disabilities. In this case, coping can be interpreted as a person's effort to overcome the obstacles experienced with certain strategies.  In the context of persons with disabilities, the community often views persons with disabilities as a weak marginal group as being dependant to family so that there is no demand to work like humans in general. In addition, there are little opportunity for them to work in the formal sectors causes many of them to be coping with their own efforts for being independent. Therefore, this paper seeks to explore more about coping strategies carried out by youth with disabilities to decide to work. This paper comes from the results of field research with phenomenological qualitative methods in May-June 2018 through FGD and in-depth interviews conducted in four regions in Central Java Province namely Demak Regency, Semarang City, Semarang Regency, and Boyolali Regency. The results of the study indicate that the decision to work or not work from young people with disabilities comes from the response of external factors. Coping is then born into three level : the appraisal-focused level, emotions (the emotion-focused), and actions (problem-focused), which are not linear but can occur differently for each individual depending on the context of growth and development.

The aim of this paper is to disclose the experiences and attitudes of young people with disabilities towards their professional activities and finding a job and to discover what the main opportunities and obstacles are for the integration of young disabled people into the Lithuanian labour market. The empirical basis of this research consists of 18 in-depth interviews with 18-35 year old young people with physical disabilities. In-depth interviews with young people with physical disabilities disclosed that a successful transition into the labour market first of all depends on the educational level (especially tertiary education) of a person, acquired appropriate employability skills, etc. Young disabled people experienced stigmatized attitudes by employers and a lack of interest to employ a disabled person. It is emphasized that employers in Lithuania are unwilling to employ a disabled person due to some special requirements (e.g., work assistant services, special requirements for the workplace, shorter working hours, etc.). In the high number of cases young people with disabilities face a double stigma, e.g., young and disabled, lack of working experience, etc.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the existence of agricultural extension institutions in Central Java Province. The variables used include institutional changes and the impact of institutional changes. The method of data analysis in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with the model of Miles and Huberman with the validity test of triangulation data. The types of data used are primary data from the Agriculture and Plantation Office of Central Java Province, the Office of Environment and Forestry of Central Java Province, the Semarang City Fisheries Office and Farmers in Central Java Province. Retrieval of data through in-depth interviews, document collection, and documentation. The results showed that institutional change was very dynamic since the formation of the institution. Institutional changes occur because of the evolution of laws and their forced nature. Therefore the institution of agricultural extension does not exist. However, so far the community is still getting a good impact from the extension activities because institutional changes do not reduce the performance of extension workers in the community. It's just that extension workers have not been intensive because the numbers are very minimal. This is overcome by the instructor by making a priority when conducting counseling.

This article takes a reflective approach from the perspective of the National Coordinator of a youth-led consultative and collaborative model known as Shaking the Movers, developed by The Landon Pearson Resource Centre for the Study of Childhood and Children’s Rights at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. It reflects on the model which was used to run a workshop that focused on children’s rights and disability to explore the guiding question: “Can Disability be Positive?” It reveals how the event unfolded, key messages from working with children and youth with disabilities, how the model worked or instances when it did not and key components that are helpful for other’s who may be interested in organizing a youth-led consultative and collaborative workshop with young people with disabilities. Ultimately, the paper explores the concepts of marginality and relationality and the ways these notions highlight how adult-centric views creep into the best laid efforts of adults who are aware of the strength of youth-led workshops.

It is acknowledged that access to tourism by persons with disabilities continues to be shaped by a variety of constraints that are not being clearly or consistently addressed by those in charge of tourism planning and management. Based on these assumptions, this chapter is focused on the identification of structural constraints and negotiation strategies that influence the decision and participation to travel for people with physical disabilities. To achieve these objectives, the chapter used a qualitative methodology, with the analysis and discussion of the information collected through in-depth interviews. Results may ultimately contribute to deepen the knowledge about the factors that influence people with disabilities travel choices, allowing to identify specific recommendations for improving the tourist supply chain and, consequently, for the overall tourist experience quality.

In this paper, we primarily dealt with the low representation of persons with disabilities in the tertiary education system and targeted specific barriers that keep people with disabilities outside the tertiary education process. The mentioned problem was approached from the perspective of social exclusion and one of the main tasks of the conducted research was to gain insight into the types of barriers that affect persons with different types of disabilities depending on their student status (they did not enroll at a university, they discontinued their studies, they are currently studying, they have completed their studies). The results were gained by conducting in-depth interviews covering all the mentioned categories of persons with disabilities. The results of the research point to the existence of numerous obstacles that people with disabilities face in the process of acquiring tertiary education. It has turned out that the surveyed persons with disabilities face insurmountable obstacles in the form of architectural, institutional and social barriers, depending on the type of disability and their social environment.
