A 24-year-old female patient who was pregnant with a gestational age of 30 weeks came to attend an integrated prenatal check-up at Daren Village Hall at the invitation of the village midwife on April 14, 2017. During the examination, there were no complaints except a lack of appetite. The patient comes by the husband, but the husband cannot accompany him during the examination process because he will work. The patient has been married for 2 years, where the pregnancy at the time of this examination is the first pregnancy.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by multiorgan system involvement. Hematologic manifestations are common in SLE and include thrombocytopenia in as many as 50% of patients. Thrombocytosis is much less common in SLE, occurring in less than 5% of patients, and is typically reported in association with autosplenectomy. The following case report describes a 35-year-old female patient who presented for evaluation with extreme thrombocytosis of unclear etiology. The patient was diagnosed with reactive thrombocytosis due to active SLE for which treatment with corticosteroids and plaquenil was provided with subsequent decline in platelet counts. This report highlights the importance of considering SLE in the differential for thrombocytosis despite its classic association with thrombocytopenia.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus is a systemic autoimmune connective tissue disease. Arthralgia is a common symptom, occurring in 90% of patients, and is often associated with early morning stiffness. Considering symp- tomatology, In Ayurveda classics, it can be compared with amavata1. This is the case report of a female patient aged 19 years suffering from multiple joints pain associated with swelling and tenderness and finger deformities, Diagnosed as Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Visited the Department of Panchakarma, SAMC&H, Banga- lore for the treatment. Virechana karma followed by Shamana Aushadhi was administered. Introdução: A gravidez é um momento da vida da mulher marcada por profundas alterações imunoendocrinológicas relacionadas a exacerbações de enfermidades prévias como o Lúpus eritematoso sistêmico (LES). Objetivos: O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar um caso de Lúpus eritematoso durante a gravidez, bem como realizar uma análise crítica reflexiva sobre o atendimento da paciente lúpica durante a gravidez. Relato do Caso: Paciente do sexo feminino, 22 anos, procurou atendimento médico com sintomas inespecíficos e leucorreia. Ela foi diagnosticada com vaginose bacteriana e gravidez. No curso da gravidez, foi diagnosticada com lúpus eritematoso sistêmico e iniciou tratamento e acompanhamento com o obstetra e reumatologista, sem intercorrências. Conclusão: Conclui-se que é possível que uma paciente com LES tenha uma gravidez segura e bem-sucedida, tanto para si como para o feto, uma vez que seja verificada regularmente por profissionais especializados. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Pregnancy is a period marked by important immuno-endocrinology changes related to exacerbations of previous diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Objectives: Based upon this premise, the goal of this work is to report two cases of lupuserythematosus during pregnancy, one with and another without complications and to make a critical analysis on the care of lupus patients during pregnancy. Case Report: Female patient, 22 years old, sought medical care with nonspecific symptoms and leukorrhea. She was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and pregnancy. In the course of pregnancy, she was diagnosed with SLE and initiated followup treatment with the obstetrician and rheumatologist, without intercurrences. Conclusion: It is concluded that it is possible for a SLE patient to have a safe and successful pregnancy, both for herself and for the fetus, once she is regularly checked by specialized professionals.
