Unskilled female labourer (buruh gendong) is a manifestation of Javanese female workers disrupting the inferiority boundary. They lift heavy goods in the market to help in providing livelihood for their family. This research aimed to analyze how the unskilled female labourers defend their existence as Javanese women who are able to fullfil double burden as the way to provide financial help to their family. This research also analyzed how they view of the women's double roles. This research was a field study using qualitative data collected from detailed interviews, observations, and documentations. Analyzes were done using philosophical approaches, i.e. induction, deduction, comparation, description, and reflection. The results showed that Javanese women were not only refined in character and submissive, but also tough, strong, and decisive in making choice. They viewed the women's double burden as part of their lives which should be ventured with willingess and sincerity. They tackled the conflict arising from the double burden by efficiency in time management and load-sharing in domestic chores. Gender deconstruction was shown as women who also can contribute economically by capitalizing their abilities. Women and men are all in the same level and have the same chances in working side by side with other men. From this research, a new knowledge has been revealed that women's double burden was not always restricting women to contribute to their family. It was depicted by this case in female unskilled labourers in helping their family willingly.

Double burden is a situation where a woman works both on reproductive and productive activity for long hours. One of the working systems that allow women to do productive activities at the same time as reproductive is a putting-out system. However, this system may disadvantaged women in terms of wages, which will affect the income and welfare of the household. The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between the level of gender equality to the household’s income and to the welfare of the household. This research is using a quantitative approach with survey method and supported by qualitative data. The analysis’ unit of this research is the female labours’ household with a putting-out system. This research indicated that woman experiences double burden and inequality in the access and control of resources and benefits. A household with high access and control of benefits have a higher income. A household with high access to resources and control of benefits have higher household’s welfare.Keywords: female workers, gender analysis, putting out system ABSTRAKBeban ganda merupakan situasi di mana perempuan bekerja dalam kegiatan reproduktif dan produktif dengan curahan waktu yang lama. Salah satu sistem pekerjaan yang membuat perempuan melakukan pekerjaan reproduktif dan produktif secara bersamaan adalah sistem putting out. Akan tetapi, sistem ini merugikan perempuan terutama dalam hal pengupahan, yang berakibat juga pada pendapatan dan kesejahteraan rumah tangga tenaga kerja. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan kesetaraan gender dalam rumah tangga dengan pendapatan rumah tangga dan kesejahteraan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan didukung data kualitatif. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah rumah tangga tenaga kerja perempuan dengan sistem putting out. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki beban ganda pada pembagian kerja dan didapati adanya ketidaksetaraan gender pada akses dan kontrol terhadap sumber daya dan manfaat. Semakin tinggi tingkat akses dan kontrol terhadap manfaat dalam rumah tangga, maka semakin tinggi juga pendapatan rumah tangga. Selain itu, semakin tinggi tingkat kontrol terhadap sumber daya dan kontrol terhadap manfaat dalam rumah tangga, semakin tinggi juga kesejahteraan rumah tangganya.Kata Kunci: tenaga kerja perempuan, analisis gender, sistem putting out

This study deals with the way to improve students’ achievement in speaking particularly through Two Stay Two Stray Strategy. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of of the research was class X-AP SMK Swasta Harapan Danau Sijabut in Asahan Regency that consisted of 34 students. The research was conducted in two cycles consisted of three meetings in each cycle. The instruments of collecting data for quantitative data used Speaking Test and instrument for analysis of qualitative data used observation, interview and questionnaire sheet. Based on the speaking test score, students’ score kept improving in every test. In the test I the mean was 61,47, in the test II the mean was 67,41 and the test III the mean was 78,52. Based on observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, it was found that teaching learning process run well and lively. Students were active and interest in speaking. The using of Two Stay Two Stray Strategy is significantly improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.

Wasl al-Fiqh bi al-Hadith integrates jurisprudence and hadith so that it enables fiqh experts to rely on hadith in formulating their rulings while hadith experts can derive a more accurate interpretation. Among others, this concept is applied at Aceh traditional dayah as the oldest Islamic educational institution in the Malay Archipelago which Acehness put their respect as the reference in Islamic rulings and teaching. This field study took place at Dayah Mudi Mesra, Samalanga, Aceh, due to its long-established reputation and great influence among Acehnese. The study aims to shed some light on the concept of wasl al-Fiqh bi al-Hadith according to some Islamic scholars, analyze the concept as perceived by the traditional Dayah of Aceh, and portray the polemic on Friday prayer ritual as prescribed by the traditional Dayah. The study employs qualitative data collection instruments consisting of library data, interviews, observations, and documentation. Inductive, deductive, and comparative methods were used for data analysis. The study found that implementation of this concept at the Dayah has been synonymous with the exclusive adoption of Shafi’i school as it heavily relies on several Shafi’i books or opinions of Shafi’i scholars as primary references.(Wasl al-Fiqh bi al-Hadith memadukan kajian fiqh dan hadis sehingga ahli fiqh dapat berpedoman kepada hadis dalam merumuskan aturan-aturan hukum sementara ahli hadis dapat mengetahui makna sebuah hadis dengan lebih akurat. Konsep ini salah satunya diterapkan di Dayah Tradisional Aceh, sebuah lembaga kajian Islam tertua di Kepulauan Melayu yang disegani dan menjadi rujukan dalam hal aturan serta ajaran Islam di masyarakat setempat. Kajian ini merupakan studi lapangan yang bertempat di Dayah Mudi Mesra Samalanga Aceh karena pengaruhnya yang sudah lama dan berakar kuat bagi masyarakat Aceh. Ia bertujuan mendalami konsep wasl al-fiqh bi al-hadith menurut para cendekiawan Muslim, mengkaji pemahaman akan konsep wasl al-fiqh bi al-hadith di kalangan Dayah tersebut dan memotret polemik soal pelaksanaan Salat Jumat di dalamnya. Kajian ini merupakan studi kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data secara pustaka, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, analisis data dilakukan secara induktif, deduktif, dan komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi konsep tersebut sebenarnya tidak lebih dari adopsi eksklusif terhadap madzhab Syafi’i karena ketergantungan yang demikian kuat pada buku-buku madzhab Syafi’i serta pandangan ulama-ulama Syafi’iyyah sebagai referensi utama)

Too often a child’s body is restored to health in the hospital, but the child is sent home with emotional wounds. This study explored the needs of children in a haematology-oncology unit as well as the resources that could be mobilised in order to address these needs by firstly carrying out a literature review. A field study was then conducted in order to prioritise the resources according to their importance for children in a haematology-oncology unit. A definite trend could be found in the way that the children responded to the request to prioritise the resources. The first three resources, as chosen by the children, all concerned the external social environment of the child. It could therefore be concluded that support from parents and other people of significance are most important to the child and should be taken into account when facilitating support for children in a haematology-oncology unit. It could also be concluded that these children do not experience sufficient control in their situation and it could therefore be suggested that children in a haematology-oncology unit should experience more control and power in their situation.OpsommingSo dikwels word ‘n kind se liggaam genees in die hospitaal, maar hierdie selfde kind gaan huis toe met emosionele wonde. Die behoeftes van kinders in ‘n hematologie-onkologie eenheid is ondersoek asook die hulpbronne wat gemobiliseer kan word om hierdie behoeftes aan te spreek deur gebruik te maak van ‘n literatuurstudie. Daarna is ‘n veldstudie gedoen om hierdie hulpbronne te prioritiseer volgens die belangrikheid daarvan vir kinders in ‘n hematologieonkologie eenheid. Die manier waarop die kinders die hulpbronne geprioritiseer het, het ‘n definitiewe tendens getoon. Die eerste drie hulpbronne wat deur die kinders gekies is, is al drie hulpbronne wat die eksterne sosiale omgewing van die kind behels. Die gevolgtrekking kan dus gemaak word dat die ondersteuning van ouers en ander persone wat belangrik is vir die kind, van uiterste belang is en in aanmerking geneem behoort te word in die fasilitering van ondersteuning van kinders in ‘n hematologie-onkologie eenheid. Die gevolgtrekking wat gemaak kan word is dat hierdie kinders nie genoeg beheer ervaar in hulle situasie nie en daarom word voorgestel dat kinders in ‘n hematologie-onkologie eenheid meer bemagtig behoort te word gegewe hulle omstandighede.

<p class="apa">The Academic Knowledge Management Model of Small Schools in Thailand was created by research and development. The quantitative and qualitative data were collected via the following steps: a participatory workshop meeting, the formation of a team according to knowledge base, field study, brainstorming, group discussion, activities carried out according to knowledge, summarizing and revising the operation, organizing an exhibition to show the work results, and the creation of a website. The results showed that the subjects had knowledge of how to manage knowledge, became more academically capable, and were satisfied with knowledge management at the highest level.</p>

Through a story about a reindeer that wandered off from its grazing area, this article explores the emotional effects mediated by digital technology. It concerns the way in which reindeer movements are made visible through the use of digital tools. As reindeer movements are documented by GPS (Global Positional Systems) technology and transformed into inscriptions, the movements become easier to observe. It makes a difference when herders can follow reindeer movements from above, instead of from the ground. New knowledge emerges with increased amounts of information. As GPS data makes reindeer movement visible, it creates a new, partial relation between seeing and knowing. The strong emotional effects that are induced by this relation on the herder are observed and described through a narrative of the reindeer that wandered into another Sámi community.

In Romania of 2021, where society is constantly tempted by numerous changes in methodology and constrained by the development of the didactic act mainly online, as a result of the pandemic, education through play can be the long-awaited answer. The game itself can take various forms, sometimes the most interesting. The present paper seeks to present such a form. Starting from education through play, the paper aims to outline another possible dimension of the way of conducting the act of teaching-learning assessment and obtaining feedback. Thus through a series of worksheets, education through play is punctuated and finely delimited, as a bridge between mobile applications and philately. A series of exercises are proposed, which can be carried out in the mixed work variant. They can successfully provide lessons involving fun math or ecology, but the range of uses can be expanded. They can be used as materials in teaching new knowledge and in evaluating existing ones. This study certifies that education through play knows no limitations as long as the trainers has several key skills and has access to various resources.

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of Islamic culture in MIN I Malang, describe the Islamic character developed in MIN I Malang, identify the obstacles in the implementation of Islamic culture in MIN I Malang, and describe the efforts made by school institutions to overcome these obstacles. The research method was conducted using descriptive qualitative. Data is collected using structured interviews by taking the subject of teachers, school principals, and parents of students. The results show that the implementation of Islamic culture in schools begins with the construction of a system that directs the behavior of students with Islamic character through the habituation of Islamic behavior. Then supported by the implementation of the Koran, Kultum, and memorization of the Qur'an in the first fifteen minutes before school hours every day. Duha prayer, Dhuhr prayer, Friday prayer, and princess in school. The obstacle to developing Islamic culture in schools is the habit of parents who are sometimes not in line and the way to overcome them is by creating a Whatsapp group for students' parents.Keywords: Implementation, Islamic Culture, Character Education Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi budaya Islami di MIN I Malang, mendeskripsikan karakter Islami yang dikembangkan di MIN I Malang, mengetahui kendala dalam implementasi budaya Islami di MIN I Malang, dan memaparkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh lembaga sekolah untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur dengan mengambil subjek guru, kepala sekolah, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi budaya Islami di sekolah diawali dengan dibangunnya sistem yang mengarahkan perilaku siswa yang berkarakter Islami melalui pembiasaan perilaku Islami. Kemudian ditunjang dengan pelaksanaan mengaji, kultum, dan hafalan Al-Qur’an pada lima belas menit pertama sebelum jam masuk sekolah setiap harinya. Pelaksanaan shalat dhuha, shalat dhuhur, shalat jumat, dan keputrian di sekolah. Kendala dari pembasaan budaya Islami di sekolah adalah pembiasaan orang tua yang kadang tidak sejalan dan cara mengatasinya adalah dengan membuat grup Whatsapp bagi orang tua murid.Kata kunci: Implementasi, Budaya Islami, Pendidikan Karakter

Time management applications aim to coordinate and tame the rhythms of social reality. It transpires, however, that in many cases, they somewhat complicate and impede this process, leading to time paradoxes. Using various theoretical tools developed in the critical studies of time and the critique of neoliberalism, I identify three time paradoxes produced by the applications: remembering to remember, planning to plan, and accelerating acceleration. These three paradoxes were brought up and thoroughly discussed in in-depth interviews with self-selected individuals who constantly face challenges related to personal time management. I highlight how managing time using various applications shapes the experience and meaning of time, makes individuals reorganize their social practices, redefines their memory, and influences their emotions. In conclusion, I reflect on how the tension between linear time and multi-temporality is intertwined with the discussed paradoxes and counter-productivity of time management applications.
