As result of the development of technology, most of modern computer and smartphones are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi direct wireless technologies enabled. While those wireless technologies come with the benefits of interconnecting devices without the need access point or central base station. However, computer and smartphones connected via Bluetooth based or via Wi-Fi Direct connection does not guarantee intercommunication or data transmission in meaningful way. Therefore, third party software is always needed to help for achieving data transmission. In this research an effort is done to design and develop P2P software applications and web based application by using C# and ASP.net MVC programming languages as features of Visual Studio 2017. Application would facilitate P2P communication of interconnected devices via the same channel. Built software system has been tested based on functional testing method, and usability testing. The result from functional testing shows that P2P communication meets functional requirements while usability testing has an average score of 72.2% from System Usability Scale method. The results from SUS scores brands our proposed P2P communication system to be good and highly accepted.

In the field of modern bidding, electronic bidding leads a new trend of development, convenience and efficiency and other significant advantages effectively promote the reform and innovation of China’s bidding field. Nowadays, most systems require a strong and trusted third party to guarantee the integrity and security of the system. However, with the development of blockchain technology and the rise of privacy protection, researchers has begun to emphasize the core concept of decentralization. This paper introduces a decentralized electronic bidding system based on blockchain and smart contract. The system uses blockchain to replace the traditional database and uses chaincode to process business logic. In data interaction, encryption techniques such as zero-knowledge proof based on graph isomorphism are used to improve privacy protection, which improves the anonymity of participants, the privacy of data transmission, and the traceability and verifiable of data. Compared with other electronic bidding systems, this system is more secure and efficient, and has the nature of anonymous operation, which fully protects the privacy information in the bidding process.

Perusahaan pembiayaan kendaraan mobil saat ini semakin banyak dan berkembang begitu pesat. Setiap perusahaan berusaha untuk menarik perhatian pelanggan dengan berbagai cara, terutama peningkatan teknologi untuk mendukung dan memudahkan proses kegiatan pembiayaan mobil. Perusahaan Astra Credit Company memanfaatkan teknologi dengan menyediakan aplikasi mobile acc.one yang dapat digunakan oleh pelanggan untuk membantu segala kegiatan proses pembiayaan mobil di Perusahaan ACC. Namun aplikasi ini terdapat beberapa masalah yang dapat diketahui dari ulasan pengguna di play store seperti aplikasi tiba-tiba error, aplikasi tidak dapat dibuka, fitur tidak berfungsi dengan semestinya, dll. Sehingga dilakukan pengujian aplikasi untuk mengetahui tingkat usability aplikasi dengan menggunakan metode system usability scale dan usability testing untuk mengetahui pengalaman pengguna. Hasil yang diperoleh tingkat usability aplikasi dengan tingkat kemudahan sebesar 73,33% yang masuk dalam kategori buruk, tingkat kecepatan pengguna sebesar 0,0467 goals/sec yang termasuk kategori normal, tingkat kesalahan pengguna sebesar 0,1230 total defect yang masuk dalam kategori kecil, dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna menggunakan kuesioner SUS memperoleh rerata SUS sebesar 54,45945946 yang artinya tingkat kepuasan pengguna rendah terhadap aplikasi berdasarkan penentuan nilai SUS yaitu Acceptability atau tingkat penerimaan penggunaan masuk dalam kategori marginal low, Grade Scale atau tingkat grade skala masuk dalam kategori F dan Adjective Rating masuk dalam kategori OK. Selain itu, pada SUS skor percentile rank masuk kedalam grade D.

Vehicle Adhoc Network is deployed on the road, where vehicles constitute mobile nodes in which active security and intelligent transportation are important applications of VANET. VANETs are a key part of the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) framework. Sometimes, VANETs are referred as Intelligent Transportation Networks. However, authentication and privacy of users are still two vital issues in VANETs.  In the traditional mode, the transactional data storage provides no distributed and decentralized security, so that the third party initiates the dishonest behaviors possibly. VANET has  temporary participants , communication between vehicles are short-lived messages. Possible situation might happens , adversary may play as an legitimate user and able to perform malicious activity .To address these challenges this paper proposes timestamp based message between users to  perform secure data transmission and give the negligible probability of the attacker. With the help of Certificate Authority (CA) and the RoadSide Units (RSUs), our proposal attains the confidentiality and  trace the identity of the unauthenticated vehicle in the anonymous announcements as well. Finally, through the theoretical analysis and simulations, our scheme is able to implement a secure VANET framework with accountability and privacy preservation

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan usability testing terhadap Sistem Informasi Kontrol Mutu dan Pengelolaan Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa di Program Studi Manajemen Informatika (SIKTA). SIKTA merupakan sistem informasi yang digunakan untuk melakukan kontrol terhadap proses penyelesaian Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa. SIKTA adalah aplikasi yang digunakan secara internal di Program Studi Manajemen Informatika. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan usability testing terhadap SIKTA adalah ISO 9241-11. ISO 9241-11 merupakan uji usability untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas, efisiensi dan kepuasan pengguna. Tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi diukur dengan pemberian tugas-tugas kepada responden, sedangkan untuk mengukur kepuasan pengguna digunakan kuisioner dari System Usability Scale (SUS).  Dari hasil uji diperoleh masing-masing yaitu uji keefektifan sebesar 92%, uji keefisienan memperoleh 88% dan kepuasan pengguna menggunakan SUS memperoleh angka 76,5. Dari uji tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa SIKTA merupakan sistem yang efektif, efisien dari sisi mahasiswa sebagai penggunanya. Dan angka 76,5 menyatakan bahwa pengguna puas dalam menggunakan SIKTA.

UAV cooperative control has been an important issue in UAV-assisted sensor network, thanks to the considerable benefit obtained from cooperative mechanism of UAVs being applied as a flying base station. In coverage scenario, the tradeoff between coverage performance and transmission performance often makes deployment of UAVs fall into a dilemma, since both indexes are related to the distance between UAVs. To address this issue, UAV coverage and data transmission mechanism is analyzed in this paper, then an efficient multi-UAV cooperative deployment model is proposed. The problem is also modeled as a coalition formation game (CFG). The CFG with Pareto order is proved to have a stable partition. Then, an effective approach consisting of coverage deployment and coalition selection is designed, wherein UAVs can decide strategies cooperatively to achieve better coverage performance. Combining analysis of game approach, a coalition selection and position deployment algorithm based on Pareto order (CSPDA-PO) is designed to execute coverage deployment and coalition selection. Finally, simulation results are shown to validate the proposed approach based on efficient multi-UAV cooperative deployment model.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) continue to provide essential services for various applications such as surveillance, data gathering, and data transmission from the hazardous environments to safer destinations. This has been enhanced by the energy-efficient routing protocols that are mostly designed for such purposes. Gateway-based Energy-Aware Multi-hop Routing protocol (MGEAR) is one of the homogenous routing schemes that was recently designed to more efficiently reduce the energy consumption of distant nodes. However, it has been found that the protocol has a high energy consumption rate, lower stability period, less data transmission to the Base station (BS). In this paper, an enhanced Heterogeneous Gateway-based Energy-Aware multi-hop routing protocol ( HMGEAR) is proposed. The proposed routing scheme is based on the introduction of heterogeneous nodes in the existing scheme, selection of the head based on the residual energy, introduction of multi-hop communication strategy in all the regions of the network, and implementation of energy hole elimination technique. Results show that the proposed routing scheme outperforms two existing ones.

Mobile Siaran is an official reporting application intended for the people of the city of Tangerang Selatan (South Tangerang). However, after conducting interviews with stakeholders and respondents, there were several problems with the display of the mobile application. From the results of the interview, it indicates that there are still some applications that need improvement. To fix the problem with the Mobile Siaran application display, the solution given is to improve the user interface design using the Goal Direct Design method. In addition, it also uses the success rate calculation technique and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the usability value. Meanwhile, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) measures the value of user experience. The result of this research is a user interface design made in stages in the Goal Direct Design method, namely research, modeling, requirements, frameworks, and refinement. The final evaluation, the results of the improvement using calculations, the success rate has increased from 93.5% to 99.3%, SUS from an average score of 58.19 which can be said to be quite satisfactory with the letter D value to 81.83 which can be accepted with the value of the letter A, while UEQ shows all aspects that have improved with very good and good criteria which means that improvements to user interface design can solve problems that exist in the application and improve the user experience.

An ever-growing demand for higher data-rates has facilitated the growth of wireless networks in the past decades. These networks, however, are known to exhibit capacity and coverage problems, hence jeopardizing the promised quality of service towards the end-user. To overcome these problems, prohibitive investment costs in terms of base station or access point rollouts would be required if traditional, non-scalable, cell-splitting, and micro-cell capacity dimension procedures were applied. The prime aim of current R&D initiatives is, hence, to develop innovative network solutions that decrease the cost per bit/s/Hz over the wireless link. To this end, cooperative networks have emerged as an efficient and promising solution. We discuss in this chapter some key research and deployment issues, with emphasis on cooperative architectures, networking, and security solutions. We expose some motivations to use such networks, as well as latest state-of-the-art developments, open research challenges, and business models.
