Sex education is an educational curriculum area that represents a challenge for teachers, mainly if they are men. Therefore, the present study was carried out to identify the difficulties that male teachers face when addressing sex education with their students. It seeks to broaden the subject's understanding comprehensively and reflect on it in several dimensions, considering the actors involved: The State, the school, the role of teachers, and parents. A qualitative methodology was used, with a comprehensive-interpretive approach. Four public elementary teachers from the city of Veracruz, Mexico, participated. The instrument we used was a semi-structured interview. The findings were as follows: regarding their role as an educator, they consider that it is up to them to inform students on a scientific basis about sexuality; regarding their role in sex education, they think that they have the responsibility of reinforcing in the classroom the education that parents give their children at home. The challenges refer to the claims they receive from parents for talking about sexuality with kids and the lack of precision and depth in the content of the free textbooks regarding the matter. Finally, we conclude that sex education is a joint work in which the institutions' functions, both educational and family, are interrelated.

This study discusses how the Serang City Square as a public open space is abused by prostitution as a place for approval of prostitution transactions. These conditions make the City Government of Serang do various ways to allow the condition of the City Square of Serang which has been abused by parties related to prostitution. When the government has not been able to deal with the problem of prostitution itself, then to facilitate the handling of prostitution, the government collaborates with other parties, namely Islamic Organizations that are considered capable of assisting the City Government of Serang in eradicating prostitution in Serang City Square. However, at the time of the collaboration between the Serang City Government and the Islamic Organizations, it had not been running optimally because there were some collaborations between one of them which was not going well with good communication between the best institutions and the Islamic Organizations in eradicating prostitution. This is because the government considers that Islamic Organizations do not have the authority to eradicate prostitution. Indeed, the role of Islamic Organizations is only as a companion and to remind the government.

The lack of the role of the school committee in education makes it a school partner to improve its management. Because it is clear in Law number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System article 56 paragraph 3 that the school council approves in improving the quality of assistance by providing, directives and support for labor, facilities and infrastructure, and supervision of education at the education level. This paper is a literature study that uses documents related to schools and education suppliers as sources of data and analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Reconstruction of the management of the committee through improvements to the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the work program of the school committee and education unit. In addition, training and guidance for school committees also requires building good communication and cooperation between the school committee, the government and other parties. That way it is expected to increase the strategic role of schools in improving the quality of education.
