Historically, many sonification designs that have been used for data analysis purposes have been based on data characteristics and have not been explicitly based on the listener’s task. These sonification designs have often been described as annoying, confusing, or fatiguing. In the absence of a generally accepted theoretical framework for sonification design, there is a need for improvements in sonification design as well as a need for empirical evaluation of task- based sonification designs. This research focuses on surface electromyography (sEMG) sonification and two sEMG data analysis tasks: determining which of two muscles contracts first and which of two muscles exhibits a higher exertion level. Both of these tasks were analyzed using a task analysis technique known as GOMS (Goals, Operators, Methods, Selection Rules) and two sonification designs were created based on the results of these task analyses. Two Data-based sEMG sonification designs were then taken from the sEMG sonification literature, and the four designs (2 Task-based and 2 Data-based) were empirically compared. Significant effects of sonification design on listener performance were found, with listeners scoring more accurately using the Task-based sonification designs. Based on these results, we argue for wider application of task analysis methods to sonification design and for the inclusion of task analysis methods into a generally accepted theoretical framework for sonification design.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal matematika realistik berdasarkan kerangka teori PISA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan dengan tipe penelitian formatif yang meliputi tahap preliminary (analisis dan pendesainan) serta tahap prototyping (evaluasi formatif). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, walk through, tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Kevalidan dipenuhi berdasarkan validasi pakar secara kualitatif dari aspek konten, konstruk, dan bahasa. Kriteria praktis dipenuhi apabila memenuhi dua hal yaitu; (1) para pakar menyatakan bahwa apa yang dikembangakan dapat diterapkan, dan (2) kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa apa yang dikembangkan tersebut dapat diterapkan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah telah dihasilkan prototipe soal matematika realistik berdasarkan kerangka teori PISA yang valid dan praktis dan efektif. Selain itu, hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 3 Tondano masih tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata nilai 19,6. AbstractThis study aims to develop valid, practical and  effective  realistic mathematics problem  based on PISA theoretical framework. The method is a developmental research with formative research type which includes the preliminary stage (analysis and design) and the prototyping stage (formative evaluation). Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, walk through, tests, observations, and interviews. While the data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive data analysis. Validity is fulfilled based on qualitative expert validation from aspects of content, constructs, and language. Practical criteria are fulfilled when fulfilling two things, namely; (1) the experts state that what is developed can be applied, and (2) the fact shows that what is developed can be applied. The results obtained is a realistic mathematical problem prototype based on the PISA theoretical framework that is valid, practical, and effective. In addition, the test results show that the mathematics literacy skills of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano are still relatively low with an average score of 19.6.

This research is a field research based on a case study of the relationship between tradition and Islamic law in the Ngeuyeuk Seureuh tradition in Sundanese traditional marriages. The data collection method used by the researcher is the interview method or interview and literature study, while the research data analysis technique uses inductive data analysis methods and descriptive analysis methods. The research approach used by the researcher is a case approach, a textual approach, and an analytical approach. After the data has been collected, it is compiled, described, and analyzed to obtain research findings. The results show that the marriage process related to Islamic law in the Ngeuyeuk Seureuh tradition in Sundanese traditional marriages is a tradition that has been preserved from generation to generation by the Sundanese people, which in its implementation does not conflict with Islamic law because there are Islamic principles in its implementation. Keywords: tradition, Islamic Law, Ngeuyeuk Seureuh   Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang didasarkan pada studi kasus mengenai relasi adat dan hukum Islam dalam tradisi Ngeuyeuk Seureuh dalam pernikahan adat Sunda. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai oleh peneliti adalah metode interview atau wawancara dan studi pustaka, sedangkan teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan metode analisis data induktif dan metode analisis deskriptif. Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah pendekatan kasus, pendekatan tekstual, dan pendekatan analisis. Setelah data-data tersebut terkumpul kemudian disusun, dijabarkan, dan dianalisis sehingga mendapatkan temuan penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pernikahan  yang berkaitan dengan hukum Islam dalam tradisi Ngeuyeuk Seureuh pada pernikahan adat Sunda merupakan adat yang dilestarikan dari turun temurun oleh masyarakat Sunda, yang dalam pelaksanaannya pun tidak bertentangan dengan syariat Islam karena terdapat kaidah-kaidah Islam didalam pelaksanaannya. This study aims to determine the effect of career development and work placement on employee work performance at PDAM Tirtanadi, North Sumatra Province. The population in this study were all employees per division, amounting to 182 employees. From the total population can be determined the number of samples in this study amounted to 65 people. The data analysis technique used is the t-test, f-test, multiple linear regression and determinant coefficient test using SPSS 22. From the calculation results using SPSS shows that there is an influence of career development on employee work performance, there is the influence of work placement on employee performance and there is the influence of career development and work placement on employee performance.

This research is a school action research that aims to improve teacher achievement through academicsupervision. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 009 Teluk Pauh, Cirenti District. The subjects of thisstudy were teachers of SD Negeri 009 Teluk Pauh, Cirenti Subdistrict with a total number of 12 people,consisting of 4 men and 8 women. This research was carried out in two cycles carried out based on the stages ofplanning, implementation and reflection. The data used is physical data. The average data analysis technique isdescriptive method. The results showed that teacher achievement motivation in the first cycle was 60.1% withgood categories and the cycle increased to 81.6% with very good categories.

This study aims at describing how the teachers teach reading comprehension of narrative text to the tenth grade students in Sibolangit and revealing the underlying reasons of why do they do that way. This study was conducted by using qualitative research design. The subject of this study were two english teachers who taught at tenth grade students of two SMA in Sibolangit they are : SMA Negeri  1 Sibolangit  and SMA RK Deli Murni Bandar Baru in academic year 2016/ 2017. The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The  technique of collecting the data was recorded from the classroom process in teaching reading comprehension of narrative text. The findings of the study show that most of teachers’ ways are not yet focusing on teaching reading comprehension but rather focusing teaching the knowledge of genre. The underlying reason of the teachers’ ways in teaching reading comprehension did not facilitate reading comprehension. It was due to the misperception of the concept of teaching reading comprehension.  Keywords : Teaching,Reading Comprehension,Narrative Text.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Harga dan Brand Trust Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada Sinergy Celular Medan.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung Sinergy Celular Medan sebanyak 77 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui kuesioner (angket) yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada sampel (responden) dan mengumpulkannya kembali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda.Sebelum data diregresikan maka terlebih dahulu di uji keterkaitannya antara variabel, datanya diuji menggunakan uji normalitas data, multikolinearitas, dan heterokedastisitas.Serta untuk mengetahui kontribusi faktor Harga dan Brand TrustTerhadap Keputusan Pembelian digunakan rumus Koefisien Determinasi (R2). Hipotesis penelitian diterima apabila t hitung >  t tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,1. Nilai t tabel dalam penelitian ini 1,993. Nilai t hitung variabel X1 sebesar 2,107 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima, nilai t hitung variabel X2   sebesar 3,405 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima. Kata kunci: Harga, Brand Trust, Keputusan Pembelian AbstractThis study aims to determine the Influence of Price and Brand Trust on Purchasing Decision at Sinergy Celular Medan. The sample in this study is all visitors Sinergy Celular Medan as many as 77 people.Data collection technique used is through questionnaire (questionnaire) that is by distributing questionnaires to the sample (respondent) and collect it back. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. Before the data is diregresikan then first in the test the relationship between variables, the data tested using the test of data normality, multicollinearity, and heterokedastisitas. And to know the contribution of price factors and Brand Trust Against Purchase Decision is used the formula Coefficient of Determination (R2). Research hypothesis accepted if t arithmetic> t table with significance level 0,1. The value of t table in this study is 1,993. AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the role of the Chairperson and Cooperative Manager in the preparation and application of Financial Statements based on SAK ETAP in cooperatives in the city of Palembang. This research is a quantitative study using data obtained from questionnaires and measured using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample used in this study was the Chairperson of the cooperative and the manager of the cooperative in the city of Palembang. The cooperatives studied were 203 cooperatives. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test. The results showed that the role of cooperative leaders and managers had a significant positive effect on the preparation and application of SAK ETAP-based financial statements.Keywords : chairman, manager, SAK ETAP, cooperative

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android untuk memudahkan pemahaman konsep trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung data kuantitatif. Model Pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Karya inovasi ini dibuat dengan macromediaflash 8. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok kecil dan 30 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok besar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan menggunakan model Miles Huberman.Hasilpengembangan diperoleh sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk mempermudah mengingat rumus trigonometri. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive android based learning media to facilitate understanding of trigonometric concepts. The subjects in this study consisted of 8 students on a small group trial and 30 students on a large group trial. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Qualitative data analysis technique using Miles Huberman model. The results of the development obtained a learning media that can help students to simplify remembering the trigonometric formula. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CSM strategies on comprehension reading skills in classes V Padokan 2 Elementary School. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. In this study the subjects of the study were VA class students as the control class and V C as the experimental class with 28 VA and VC class students. Quantitative data analysis technique used is the calculation of independent sample t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, researchers can conclude that CSM strategies are more effective than conventional methods of reading comprehension learning. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test obtained by the value of Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) 0.014 <0.05. CSM strategy is an effective learning strategy seen from the average value of the experimental class posstest which is 81.61 higher than the control class average value of 72.96.
