ABSTRACTWe are investigating the possibility of monitoring the degree of immobilization of the low level radioactive waste by embedding an array of long lasting electrodes in grout. This work describes our ongoing attempts to understand the physics and chemistry of charge carrier in the grout under various load conditions.
