To further open the conversation about women's empowerment and global collaborations using new networking technologies, this chapter problematizes some prevalent ideas about creativity and social networking, notes suggested change that carry anti-feminist sentiments throughout the world, and suggests a number of ways that women and men can all benefit from an opening of queries about innovative ways of working together online. With the suggested expansions, the authors welcome more inclusive and invitational discussion about future digital media research and development.

This paper discusses the problem of education for children with special needs (difable) related to problems of educational material for them, such as curriculum design, the design of textbooks, learning model, and the design of instructional media. Research conducted by the authors prove that these problems can be solved by using Method Research and Development (R & D) in Education. Excellence of R & D is a design study that combines theory, experts, and real conditions on the ground so that the results are very good and appropriate. R & D also has a very small risk in product development and learning materials for children with special needs, because product trials conducted in stages from small, medium, and then a large scale. Key Word: Education, Difable, R & D.

this review summarizes an important factor of clogging in subsurface flow constructed wetlands ¬(SSF)—field distribution. The efficiency of filter media and the spatial distribution of biological growth are determined by the flow field distribution directly. If the flow field distribution is un-uniform, it would accelerate the clogging of substrate. The influencing factors for flow field distribution, including hydraulic loads, properties of filter media, filling structures and root distribution were investigated, and the clogging reasons were discussed additionally. At last, this study showed some corresponding research methods, and helping in the process of research and development of subsurface flow constructed wetlands in solving clogging problem.

Kata Kunci: pengembangan media interaktif, strategi PBL, pattern making Abstract: This study aimed to: (1) develop a strategy based interactive media PBLpadamata Pattern Making lessons; (2) determine the effectiveness of interactive learning media developed on the subjects of Pattern Making compared to graphic media. Research and development results show that: (1) Product pattern making interactive media packaged in a CD, (2) validation experts generally stated quality media products iteraktifini included in the criteria for 84.78% of the range of scores 1 to 5, hypothesis testing products was declared effective interactive media is used for making the learning pattern where there are significant differences between the results of student learning and classroom control classroom experiment. The results of data processing using the t test of the price obtained for 2.85 t is greater than t table for 2.00 it can be stated that the development of interactive media learning pattern making has proven effective. Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has developed and implemented a systematic managed process for steam generators at all of its facilities. One of the key requirements of this managed process is to have in place long range Steam Generator Life Cycle Management (SG LCM) plans for each of its reactor units. The primary goal of these plans is to maximize the value of the nuclear facility through safe and reliable steam generator operation over the expected life of the units. These SG LCM plans integrate and schedule all steam generator actions such as inspection, operation, maintenance, repairs, modifications, assessments, performance monitoring, research and development, and feedback. This paper provides an overview of how structural and leak-rate testing, being conducted by OPG, is being used to support fitness-for-service assessments for fretting degradation in the U-bend region of the recirculating steam generators at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station.

The article investigates the processes of removing suspended solids and ammonium ions from sludge liquor. Experimental research was carried out at the Water Management Department laboratory of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University applying an experimental bench made of filters equipped with the zeolites of a different fraction and other appliances. Laboratory testing looked at the use of natural sorbent zeolite for removing ammonium ions from sludge liquor mixing liquid with powdered zeolite and filtering through zeolite filter media. Research was carried out employing the particles of zeolite 1.0–1.5 mm; 2.0–2.5 mm; 2.5–3.15 mm in diameter. The highest efficiency of removing ammonium ions reached 76% and was obtained using zeolite particles 2.0–2.5 mm in diameter. Tyrimai vykdyti naudojant 1,0–1,5 mm, 2,0–2,5 mm, 2,5–3,15 mm ceolito frakcijas. Šalinant amonio jonus iš dumblo skysčio, didžiausias efektyvumas, naudojant 2,0–2,5 mm frakcijos ceolitą, siekia 76 %.
