Literary work as a piece of art (based on selected public discussions  as noted down in polish magazines after 1989)In the sketch the author raises the issue concerning the presence of a literary text in the contemporary social-media consciousness.  At the outset the author draws two poles: the elite and egalitarian one, then, she passes to analysing public discourses which took place in the last century in cultural periodicals (“Znak”, “Tygodnik Powszechny”). One of the crucial conclusions of her observations is the judgement according to which a literary masterpiece has been in the last centuries as if less a piece of art and become more a place of exchanging a thought and social discourse.

The relevance of the monograph is determined, first of all, by the fact that contemporary national literatures are increasingly interacting with each other through translation, and thus the need to consider translated works in comparison with the originals is increasing. Studying the features and patterns of the literary translation is an important area of modern comparative studies. The work focuses on ways of preserving the national and cultural component of the translated text. The works of M. Gogol, Lesia Ukrainka, I. Franko, F. Dostoievskyi, R. Kipling, and J. Conrad were analyzed according to this aspect. A comparative idea of a dialogue is proposed. It is noted that translation is a broad dialogic process between the author and the reader through the interpreter, which includes reception and interpretation. Literary translation is interpreted as the basis for establishing a dialogue between the text and the interpreter, as an expression of the meaning that flows through the prism of the translating consciousness and enriches it, as a co-creation of the writer and interpreter, the purpose of which is mutual understanding, and the result of this understanding is the text-translation. Attention is paid to the issue of intertextuality as a translation problem. Despite the understanding of intertextuality as the interaction between the texts by different authors (text in text) and the interrelation between different works of one author, the thesis proposes to expand the scope of interpretation of this term, adding to it also different interpretations of one work in the same language. In the monograph the problem of reception and interpretation of literary text is considered in the imagological aspect. In particular, the study of reception and interpretation of other national character in a foreign language discourse plays an important role. Foreign language reception and interpretation of laughter culture in general and «Gogol laughter» in particular are thoroughly investigated. A deep analysis of the works of M. Gogol and F. Dostoevsky made it possible to conclude that the carnival colour of Gogol's «pure, folk-festive» laughter and the parody and comic intonation of F. Dostoevsky during translation give rise to certain problems of preserving their identity. It is noted that the perception of colour in a literary work is a peculiar way of interpreting it, and the semantic nuances of colour markings in one language or another require the problem of the reception adequacy and the interpretation of colour when translating from language to language. The practical importance of the monograph is determined by the possibility of using its basic provisions and results as an additional source of information for further comprehension of the translational paradigm in the comparative dimension.

Writer inference systems tend to identify and verify the authorship of the handwritten documents. Each writer will have his own style of writing that uniquely identifies the writer. Hence authorship identification finds its application in forensic document analysis. It is also considered as one of the biometric features of a person, so helps in security to uniquely identify a person. Recognition of writers online has its application in detecting the identity thefts. That is compromising one’s social media account and sending messages to others as if he were an authentic sender. By discriminating the writing characteristics of the original and intruder, the masquerader can be identified. In this survey various works contributing to feature extraction and prediction of writers are discussed.

Subject of the article: apophatic of a disease. The article examines how the apophatic of culture is implemented through a literary work, namely, the apophatic component of a disease phenomenon is studied. Object of the article: a later poem by S.A. Yesenin “Evening Drew Together its Black Eyebrows...” Many researchers refer to this lyric text, but consider it only in the context of the book “Tavern Moscow”. However, this poem is of particular value in the cultural-philosophical understanding of the phenomenon of disease and death in the Russian version of logocentrism. Research methodology: a holistic ontohermeneutic analysis of a literary text with the use of a semantic research method. Results: the analysis of Yesenin’s later poem, identification of its ontological meaning, ethos of life and death allow raising the issue of a disease phenomenon in poetics, which is apophatic in nature, and this requires additional culturological commentary. Drawing parallels with the Russian fairy tale, turning to its otherworldly paradigm seems productive, since Russian folklore inspired the poet’s artistic life. In the Russian fairy tale, the search for “another kingdom” presupposes the resolution of the issue of temporary death and rebirth in a new capacity. The appeal to philosophical reflections on the axiological status of a disease of the German philosopher Rudolf Steiner, whose ideas were close to the representatives of the Silver Age, is also productive, since the anthroposophist highlights the apophatic side of the disease, endowing it with meaning-generating functions.

The study of the connection between the reader and the meaning of the literary text developed throughout the ages, and critics went in different directions in their analysis of the nature of that connection as well as the reader’s role on the literary text. In this context, the proposed study traces this relationship’s development to analyze the following: (1) the role played by the German Constance School in transforming the reader’s role from being a consumer reader to become a participant in the construction of meaning, and to highlight the procedures used by the founders of this school to facilitate understanding the reader’s new role. (2) the study sheds light on the way in which the critic Murād Mabrūk in his theory about “the literary communication” conveyed the concepts of the Constance School about the reader’s role in producing meaning to open up a new horizon for studying the meaning of the literary text. The study concludes, through its use of the historical analytic method, that: (1) the historical development of the mechanism of interpretation of meaning is based on the idea of the shift in interaction with meaning from the negative interaction in which the meaning is a constant element discovered by the reader to the positive interaction in which the meaning is a variable element resulting from the interaction between the text, Author, and reader.

To claim that the readers' experience of a literary work in translation is different from their experience of the original at first seems very paradoxical and even heretical. Such a statement is so unexpected simply because we always think of the original and its translation as being the same literary work without paying any attention to their different concre tizations on the part of their readers due to textual differences. This tacit assumption of their sameness seems totally unaffected by the fact that we never think of the original and its translation as representing the same text; on the contrary, we always take it for granted that they are two different texts in two different languages. The differences between the two texts and the differentness of the translation are never lost sight of in the discussion of the qualities and adequacy of the translation. When it comes to criticizing the literary work or teaching it, however, the translation is tacitly assumed to be identical with the original and approached as if it were the original, with little or no critical awareness of the fundamental textual and other possible differences. This critical and pedagogical approach to literary translation seems to be almost immune to the growing awareness of the importance of the textual elements, to an increasing body of research concerning their impact on the reader, and to the ample evidence about various inadequacies of literary translations, revealed especially by the processes of retranslation and thus visible in all works that exist in several translations. This approach also takes little if any notice of the overall tendency of the translation to assimilate the original to the receptor culture, to simplify and sometimes also to reduce the original.

A description of semantics is the means of expressing emotions that can be used in any literary work. We investigate and analyze the text, conduct the research of its lexical and semantic units from different dimensions. In the present paper, we deal with a complete description of the inner world of the characters in a literary work, their spiritual or emotional state of mind through the linguistic means that are used by the authors to fully display the personal images of the main characters and to perceive them thoroughly by the reader. The conducted analysis has shown that through the structural-semantic dynamics and pragmatic analysis and particular emphasis is made on the practical aspect of what type of information is realised by the addresser (character) while expressing this or that kind of emotion and how the recipient perceives this information based on the protagonist’s behaviour in a given particular case.We have foregrounded structural-semantic models of basic emotions and linguistic means containing emotions. The study of the pragmatic potential of the expression of emotions is indeed valuable for the pragmatics of a literary text, for the scrupulous understanding of various nations’ history, which inevitably reflects and will reflect in future the wide range of tasks of modern linguistics. Finally, we should also conclude that emotional load/coloring in a literary text can be represent better and perceive a characters’ cultural speech, which implies the correctness and exactness of the characters' use of the means of expressing emotions during the interaction.

This research deals with the study of Rime in the prose of Abi Al-Fadl Al-Mikali, a study that dealt with this phenomenon in the fourth century AH. The Rime has an important impact on the literary text reaching its goal through mastering the selection of words and letters, considering their characteristics and sounds, so the recipient is delighted when he hears and the reader when he reads, and together it draws attention to the Rime in Abi Al-Fadl Al-Mikaly’s prose, that- this artistic color often leads On other inventive arts such as alliteration and iteration One of the most important recommendations that writers should not lose sight of in their writing is to stay away from the necessity of Riming in their artistic texts unless it is necessary, lest the literary work be spoiled by excessive embellishment and sophistication, so it loses its luster, and distorts its meaning. The recipient responds to the category work through its harmonious music and Rims that correspond to the requirements of the soul, and it is not possible in any way to isolate the rhythm of the Rime from the meaning and context, and the creator's emotion. The ancient and contemporary critics were interested in this art and its impact on the artwork! Its place in prose is the place of weight in poetry, this art that entered the arts of literature, and gave it a sense of goodness, and a lot of interest in this art and commitment to it in the book of this century, except for what is rarely important.

The problem of the macrostructure of the text (literary work) is discussed in the article. Stresses that Genesis has a break of reality and value as the possibility of practical realization of certain subjective by nature constructs; language (through texts) joins them again. Question about the nature of values is also addressed. It is noted that the value orientations of the author and his reader as agents of cultural communication based on complex interactions of social representations with relevant concepts. Space artwork is understood as a synthesis of empirical reality. It is proved that a literary text mediated by specificity of aesthetic comprehension and specificity evaluation of reality. It is noted that the text manages the process of reading and subsequent interpretation. It concludes that the macrostructure of the text (the work) due to metaphysical unity of reality and human speech.
