<pre>The purpose of this study was to determine differences in students 'creative thinking abilities and mathematical communication with the application of the Gallery Walk method and conventional learning, as well as improve students' creative thinking and mathematical communication skills in groups using the Gallery Walk method. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Dawe. The sample taken was class VIII G as the experimental class and class VIII D as the control class. This study was aimed to determine the effect of Bamboo Dancing learning models on mathematical communication skills of students in class VIII of MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan. This research was a quantitative research, with a type of quasi-experimental research. The population was all students of class VIII MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan 2016/2017 Academic Year. The sample of this study was students of class VIII-4, which amounted to 26 people as the experimental class, and students of class VIII-5 which amounted to 26 people as the control class. From the analysis of the data obtained findings that there are differences in the mathematical communication skills of students in the experimental class using Bamboo Dancing learning models and control classes that use conventional learning. The average value of the experimental class for the initial test (pre-test) was 43.85 with a standard deviation of 9.20, while the average value for the final test (post-test) was 81.54 with a standard deviation of 9.98. In the control class the average value obtained for the initial test (pre-test) was 48.08 with a standard deviation of 10.01, whereas for the final test score (post-test) was 75.38 with a standard deviation of 13,11. In hypothesis testing using the t-test with sig. , obtained by t = 2.011, and t table = 2.009, thus obtained t t tabel atau 2,011 t table or 2.011 2,009, so that Ha  is accepted, namely there is a significant influence between the Bamboo Dancing learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students in class VIII of MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan.

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to integrate higher-order thinking skills. One of them is creative thinking. Mind map integration in Problem Based Learning (PBL) is thought to be able to assist students in improving creative thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of increasing creative thinking through the integration of mind maps in PBL on eighth grade students of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research population was class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. The research sample consisted of class VIII.1 as the experimental class and class VIII.2 as the control class. Data in the form of pretest and posttest. N-gain analysis was conducted to see the increase in student scores and MANOVA was used to examine the effect of mind maps in PBL on students creative thinking abilities. The average value of creative thinking is better in the experimental class which is 78.08 in the digestive system material with N-gain relatively close to high, namely 0.68 while in the control class only 54.88 is sufficient category. The MANOVA test also shows that there is an effect of mind maps in PBL on the creative thinking ability of class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the application of mind map integration to PBL is able to improve the creative thinking skills of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru students.

This study aims to analyze the written mathematical communication skills through the lence of cognitive style of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat Daya in the academic year 2020/2021. With the subjects of research used is 4 students of class VIII A which is taken were in the form of GEFT test results . This study is a descriptive study. The instrument used is test GEFT and written mathematical communication skills test. The findings of the study showed that (a) Students with field-independent cognitivestyle depictedproper written mathematical communication skill. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language clearly and precisely, they also were able to state problems in the form of pictures, and were able to write down mathematical ideas and explanations correctly but were still not optimal. (b) Students with a field-dependent cognitive style had good mathematical communication ability. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language properlyyet are still incomplete, they were still not optimal in addressing problems in the form of images, and lastly, they werealso able to write mathematical ideas and explanations clearly and accurately.

The purpose of this research was to know: (1) students' responses to the learning of al-qur'an mathematics with cooperative learning models think pair share type; (2) mathematical communication skills of students taught by learning al-quran mathematics with cooperative learning models think pair share type; (3) the effect of learning al-quran mathematics with think pair share type cooperative learning models on students' mathematical communication skills. This research method is an experimental method with a quantitative approach and research design is the posttest-only control design. The population in this study was VII grade students of MTsNU Astanajapura Cirebon. Sampling is done by simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires and tests. The results of the study are for students' responses to learning mathematics al-quran with the cooperative learning model of the type of think pair share obtained an average percentage of 75.11% (26 students) who responded positively. For the average value of students' mathematical communication skills obtained a percentage of 77.79% so that it can be said to be good. Hypothesis test results in this study using the t test (t accent) obtained t-count > t-table (34,365> -1,706) so that the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence on the learning of the mathematics of the qur'an with cooperative learning models think pair share type on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of 'Contextual Teaching and Learning' on students 'mathematical communication skills in terms of students' self-confidence. This research uses factorial design. The population in this study were all students of class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ansharullah Birandang Island in the academic year 2018/2019. The sample of this study is students of class VII.B as an experimental class and class VIII as a control class. The instrument used was a questionnaire instrument to measure the level of students 'Self Confidence and description tests to measure students' mathematical communication skills. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) There are differences in mathematical communication skills between students who take the CTL learning model and students who take conventional learning. 2) There is no influence of the interaction between CTL learning models with Self Confidence on students' mathematical communication skills. Thus in general the CTL learning model influences students' mathematical communication skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 'Contextual Teaching and Learning' terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-confidence siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain faktorial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ansharullah Pulau Birandang tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelasVII.A sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket tuntuk mengukur tingkat Self Confidence siswa dan tes uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan anova dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran CTL dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Tidak terdapa tpengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran CTL dengan Self Confidence terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Dengan demikian secara umum model pembelajaran CTL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.

Mathematics is a very abstract lesson and is always connected with numbers and formulas. Many students feel unhappy about mathematics and find difficulties in solving problems in the form of tables, stories, and diagrams. Learning method that can help students in improving mathematical communication and mathematical dispositions can be done through the application of discovery learning models. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication and disposition abilities taught with discovery learning models. This study useda quantitative approach with the type of experimental research and the research design usedtrue pretest and posttest design type experiments. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Sigli. The sample was chosen randomly from two classes:classes VIII2 and VIII3. The research instrument used was mathematical communication ability test and mathematical disposition questionnaire. The data analysis of students' communication and disposition ability was done by two-way ANAVA test at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that the improvement of students' mathematical communication and disposition skills taught with discovery learning models was better than those taught with conventional approaches. Furthermore, there wasno interaction between discovery learning model and the level of students towards improving communication skills and mathematical dispositions. Therefore, mathematics teachers in SMP N 2 Sigli who teach in class VIII can use discovery learning models in learning to build the next flat side space. Futureresearchers should conduct research at other schools in order to improve students' mathematical communication skills in mathematics learning.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS berbeda dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi-eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap yang terdiri dari 9 kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa 362 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas dari 9 kelas secara acak, maka terpilih kelas VIII-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 yang berjumlah 40 orang dan kelas VIII-8 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen dalam bentuk uraian yaitu posttest yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Instrumen tes tersebut telah divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator kompeten yaitu dua validator merupakan dosen pendidikan matematika dan satu validator merupakan guru matematika dan telah dinyatakan valid. Dari hasil penelitian setelah diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan kelas eksperimen 2 dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 72,5000 dan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 63,9060. Hasil uji t dua pihak dengan dk = 78 dan  = 0,05, diperoleh thitung = 1,7489 dan ttabel = 1,667 sehingga thitung tidak berada dalam interval –ttabel<thitung<ttabel maka Ha diterima, dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) berbeda dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Medan.Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), kemampuan komunikasi matematisAbstrak This research aims to see that the mathematical communication skills of students incooperative learning types Think pair share (TPS) different cooperative learning with types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) in class VIII SMP Negeri Medan 27. Sampling is done by means of cluster sampling taking 2 classes from grade 9 at random, then elected to class VIII-7 as a class experiment 1 of 40 people and class VIII-8 experiments as a class 2 that add up to 40 people. This research uses the instrument in the form of exposé i.e. posttest are used to figure out the mathematical communication skills of students. The test instrument has been validated by three competent two validator the validator is a Professor of mathematics education and a validator is a mathematics teacher and has been declared invalid. From the results of the study after being given different treatment experimental class 1 with cooperative learning model type TPS and experimental class 2 with cooperative learning model type TSTS obtained average value of experimental class 1 for 72.5000 and the average value of experimental class 2 of 63.9060. Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at Muhammadiyah Middle School in Pasir Penyu. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with the design of Randomized Subject Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The data analysis technique in this test uses the t-test. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test shows the significant value of the sample class is 0.003 <0.05. Based on these results, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students using the think talk write learning model is better than the mathematical communication skills of students using conventional learning models in class VII in the middle school Muhammadiyah Pasir Penyu.Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Think Talk Write

This research was motivated by the lack of learning tools that can improve students' Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM). Activities that can encourage students to improve KKM have not been designed by the teacher in the learning device properly. This study aims to produce learning tools by applying Problem Based Learning models to improve KKM. This development research used the ADDIE development model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of Syllabus, RPP, LKPD and KKM validation results showed highly valid criteria with percentages of 91.67%, 91.30%, 89.09%, and 87.15%, respectively. Practicality results indicate a very practical criterion with the percentage of small group trials at 95.57%, large group trials at 96.07%, and teacher responses at 96.25%. The effectiveness test results state that KKM of students who use learning tools with PBL models is better than KKM of students who use conventional learning.

This study aims to determine (1) the mathematical communication ability of students taught by the gallery walk type cooperative learning model is higher than the mathematical communication skills of students taught by conventional learning models (2) student responses through the application of the gallery walk type cooperative learning model to communication skills. mathematics students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population of this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. Sampling using simple random sampling. The sample is class VII-2 as the experimental class and class VII-1 as the control class. Data collection using a mathematical communication ability test sheet.The results showed (1) t_(count )= 3.56 and t_(table )= 1.67 or) t_(count ) > t_(table ) so that it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication skills are taught by cooperative learning model type gallery walk is higher than the mathematical communication ability of students who are taught by conventional learning models. (2) Based on the results of student responses, an average score of 3.55 was obtained so that it can be concluded that student responses through the application of the gallery walk type cooperative learning model to the mathematical communication skills of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan students were very positive.
