The research objective is to develop Web-based and WAP-based communiaction media applications to facilitate communication between the Board of Election Supervisors of Republic of Indonesia (Bawaslu RI) with all stakeholders associated with the public election. The research method used are analysis and design Methods. Analysis includes system analysis, identification of information needs, and the analysis of existing websites. The results of this analysis are used to design the applications of the proposed system of communication media. The design is implemented for database design and structured web-based and WAP-based applications. This research obtains Web-based and WAP-based communiaction media applications that facilitate communication about everything related to the public election.

The purpose of this research is to design a database system that is implemented in a web-based academic management that can be used to support the information system and academic management at Muhammadiyah 4 High School Bandung. The proposed Method in system design includes 2 parts, such as system analysis and product design. Analytical methods include literature studies, interviews, and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the database design method used are three stages database design according to Connoly and Begg. The results achieved are web based academic and database management system at Muhammadiyah High School 4 Bandung. The conclusion obtained from this research is the system is able to provide information needs, faster, accurate, prevent duplication problem of data , to support decision making, to improve effective communication between the user, and to get the information easier.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems that may occur in the cake stores, especially theselling system used in the store, identify information needs and designing suitable sales information systems for the store. The methodology used in this research are analysis and design methods. Analysis methods that used in this research are study literature, observation, survey of the old system, analysis of survey needs, identification of information needs and interview. While the design method that used in this research is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). The results achieved is sales information system for cake store in the form ofapplication design to replace the manual system. Conclusion, a computerized sales information system can improve existing sales procedures and solve the problems that may occur in the old system.

This research is based on the rapid development of the culinary and information technology. The difficulties in communicating with the culinary expert and on recipe documentation make a proper support for media very important. Therefore, a web-based database application for the public is important to help the culinary community in communication, searching and recipe management. The aim of the research was to design a web-based database application that could be used as social media for the culinary community. This research used literature review, user interviews, and questionnaires. Moreover, the database system development life cycle was used as a guide for designing a database especially for conceptual database design, logical database design, and physical design database. Web-based application design used eight golden rules for user interface design. The result of this research is the availability of a web-based database application that can fulfill the needs of users in the culinary field related to communication and recipe management.

This information system is used as a solution that can help to meet the requirements of the couples. The research methods are data collection, analysis and design. Data collection method implemented by surveys including interviews with 58 clients, 15 vendors, and 12 WO (Wedding Organizer) and by literature study that includes books and journal related. Object oriented is used as the method for system analysis and design. The result is a web based information system that connects vendors and clients in one online place. The web based application can be used to book the reception hall, catering food for guests, entertainments, bridal, car loan, prewed and receptions photos. The benefits of the web based applications are user can costumize or choose the packages, check the price information and get reports related to Wedding Organizer Order Management business process. The results of the qualitative interviews to 58 clients who already used the applications is the client get shorter time compare to clients who manage their own wedding reception.

This paper is aimed at designing a dynamic web – based Contract Bidding Information System that will be used to register details online to enable bidding for advertised contracts. It was motivated by the growing recognition of the need to modify bidding operation previously done manually. The Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) was used to develop a contract bidding system. A web – based application will be developed to enable bidders register and submit their biddings online.


The information on waterfall tourism destination provided in the tourism office website of each regency in Bali is still limited. There is a need to manage them in a database which can be monitored regularly and can be informed to the public through the tourism office website of each regency in Bali. Some regencies in Bali that have had the data collection of waterfall tourism destinations were involved to gain the data. The purpose of this study is to analyze the tourism office website of each regency of Bali, in order to be able to utilize and maximize the presentation of information in an appropriate, easy and updated manner. Besides, it can let the public know the waterfall which is untouched by many tourists. The research methodology carried out includes several stages, namely system analysis, literature study, problem identification, goal setting, information needs analysis, data inventory, presentation of results and evaluation. The conclusion of this study is that three regencies in Bali have used a website, four districts in Bali already have a website but do not have information on tourist areas, and one Kelungkung Regency does not have a website. The expected result of this study is the utilization of tourism office websites of each regency in Bali. So that it can introduce tourism in each region to visiting tourists and can improve the performance of the tourism department and increase government foreign exchange earnings. Absrtak: Tulisan ini merupakan kajian dalam menindaklanjuti saran dari hasil penelitian penulis, tentang perlunya perancangan dan pengembangan model prototipe Sistem Informasi Jabatan Fungsional Dosen berbasis web. Implementasi jabatan fungsional tersebut untuk memudahkan dalam menghitung angka kredit, memudahkan pemasukan dan pencarian data sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang akurat, tepat, dan relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma siklus hidup pengembangan sistem, meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka; analisis dan perancangan sistem dengan star Unified Modeling Language (UML), relasi antar file, struktur file, struktur program, rancangan masukan, rancangan luaran, dan struktur menu dengan menggunakan pemograman PHP & database Mysql. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya prototipe sistem jabatan fungsional yang dapat dimanfaatkan para dosen dalam memproses pengusulan dan perhitungan angka kredit secara mudah, cepat, dan efektif. Oleh karena itu perguruan tinggi (negeri/swasta) perlu mendorong pengembangan dan pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi tersebut. Begitu pula para dosen perlu membiasakan pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi berbasisweb dalam memudahkan mengimplementasikan jabatan fungsional dosen. Kata kunci : Dosen, Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, Jabatan Fungsional Dosen.Abstract: This paper is a study to follow up the recommendation from the result of the writer’s research, which was about the importance of design and development of information system prototype of web based lecturer functional job. The implementation of functional job will facilitate the calculation of credit rate, ease the data entry and searching to bring about accurate, appropriate and relevant information. This research used life cyclus paradigm of system development which include data collection phase via observation, interview and literature study; system analysis and design using star Unified Modeling Language (UML), interrelation among files, file structure, program structure, input design, output design, and menu structure using PHP and database Mysql. This study resulted that there is a prototype of functional job system which can be used by lecturers to proceed the proposal and calculation of credit rate easily, fast, and effectively. That is why colleges (public/private ones) need to encourage the develepment and utilization of such information system. Similarly, lecturers need to familiarize the utilization of web based information system in order to facilitate the implementation of lecturer functional job. The amount of time and energy that is wasted if people queue for public services is a serious problem. More ever if that queuing done by busy or sick people. Because of busyness, a person sometimes has to complete several matters at different places in short period of time. Therefore we need a queuing system that is able to integrate all queuing services so that the public can do all queuing processes with more comfort without having to cram into a queue. In addition, by integrating all community queuing services can get services in several places just by registering through one application. The working system of this application is to distribute information on service position and estimated waiting time through an application. To design the system, a survey was carried out in several public service facilities in the cities of Makassar and Gowa Regency. Beside that, literature studies also were carried out on similar papers. System analysis and design using the SDLC method include planning, system analysis and system design. It is expected that the results of this design can become a model that can be used as an appropriate reference to implement integration of mobile-based online queuing systems.

This qualitative research aims to describe the use of web-based information disclosure to increase political participation in Indonesia. Technological advancements make it easier for the Indonesian people to understand political participation. Jari Ungu is a web-based communication media created to recognize legislators in 2014-2019, government regulations, governor and legislative candidates for 2019-2024. Data is taken through a literature study of 10 articles related to political participation. The researchers also collaborated with five participants aged 18-25 years, five participants aged 30-40 years, five participants aged 50-60 years and three legislative candidates for interviews live in Jakarta. The results of the study indicate that web-based can improve political participation in Indonesia. In addition, Jari Ungu as a web-based provides convenience to the public in recognizing legislative members as well as prospective legislative members. Jari Ungu also provides an opportunity for the public to oversee every policy and regulation made by legislative members and governors in various provinces in Indonesia. Even though 10 from 40 participants didn’t know about Jari Ungu. This research can be used as a source of information for socialization to the community in areas related to web-based political participation education. It is the legislative members they choose.
