Title: Development of Inclusive Hanger Design to Facilitate Clothes Drying Activities Laundry activities, including drying are still recommended to be done by the elderly independently. However, the decline in the physical condition of the elderly, including a decrease in the balance of body position, cannot be avoided. In the observation at the GKJ Gondokusuman nursing home, the drying place is uses a rope on the roof or pole that is quite high from the reach of the elderly hand. When drying clothes, the elderly must stretch their arms and tiptoe because of the differences in height of the clothesline. This condition can increase the risk of accidents for the elderly who lose balance. This study aims to develop a product to dry the laundry and reduce the distance between the users with a high clothesline. This product development was using design research and product design. The research method was based in ergonomics knowledge through an inclusive design approach. The techniques used were behavioral observation, assessment of body activities, like Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assignment (REBA). The results of the NBM stated that the elderly experienced pain in the right side of the body, while the results of the REBA assessment showed a score of 10. This condition showed that the elderly posture while drying still had a high risk of injury. As the results of these studies, the product is designed with a function to hang laundry that make user's body position more balanced because there is no need to stretch arms and tiptoe too high. Users also easily put clothes on the hanger because there is a grip feature for both hands.

<p><em>Jaya Launch Pad is a company engaged in educational services. It is undeniable that service sector companies such as Jaya Launch Pad also have a workforce whose work posture may be less ergonomic, which can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal disorders can be experienced by people of all ages. Therefore, this study focuses on work posture. This research occurred because of complaints experienced by staff. The number of samples used in this study was 1 person. This was influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic situation so that there was only 1 staff when the observation was made. The research method used was the nordic body map (NBM) to determine which parts of the body are experiencing complaints, and the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) to measure the risk of injury due to the posture of sitting at a computer for 8 hours. The result is that the complaint assessment using the NBM questionnaire has a score of 52 (needs improvement at a later date) with 4 categories of severe pain, namely back, waist, buttocks, and buttocks. Meanwhile, the score from the ROSA table is 6 which means it is risky / dangerous so that it needs improvement. Therefore, a proposed condition is given in the form of a replacement of work facilities in the form of a work chair with adjustable height and adjustable armrests. This improvement is assumed to be able to reduce the level of staff complaints, and the calculation result of the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) is 4 which means no risk so that this improvement is accepted and can solve the work posture problem of staff at Jaya Launch Pad.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p> </p>

1. The neural systems underlying body-space mental representation were studied by measuring changes in regional cerebral blood flow (CBF) with positron emission tomography in human subjects. 2. The experimental paradigm involved identification of the left or the right hand of the experimenter presented in different orientations or the palm of the subject's right hand. The subjects were required to decide whether it was the left or the right hand that was presented. To perform this task, the subjects had to move mentally the position of their own arm to adopt that of the experimenter's arm. The control condition involved the same type of tactual stimulation without the requirement of mental transformations of the subject's body position. The distribution of CBF was measured by means of the water bolus H2(15)O methodology during the performance of these tasks. 3. Comparison of the distribution of CBF between the experimental and control tasks was carried out to reveal changes specific to the mental transformations of the subject's body. Significant blood flow increases were observed in the caudal superior parietal cortex, including the intraparietal sulcus, and the adjacent medial parietal cortex. These findings demonstrated that there is a dorsomedially directed parietal system underlying mental transformations of the body in interactive relation with external space.

PT. X is a company engaged in the manufacture of the doll house. Its various daily production processes in each work station are performed on the floor by squatting for long hours. There are seven work stations, namely pattern making, pattern cutting, pattern assembly, caulking, sanding, painting and accessory installation. The study aims to know the risk level of working posture of operators and to suggest improvements to very risky work stations. The method used in this research is Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) based on nordic questionaire on pains suffered in the back, waist, hip, right hand and foot. From the results of the collection and processing of the data, the risk of injury in an actual working system based on REBA score shows a high risk level, with the highest risk level is in caulking working station of 9 for the left side and 8 for the right side. Further, the suggested working system improvement using a chair and table results in a decrease in the risk of injury with low REBA score, the average of which is 5 for all improved work stations. It shows that the suggested working system improvement is really necessary to reduce the work risks during the doll house production.

An approach for the replacement of the distal ascending aorta-proximal arch and acute dissection is described. During the operation, the patient's entire body was continuously perfused, the aortic arch was excluded from the arterial circulation, and the aorta was not clamped at any time. To achieve continuous body perfusion, we independently cannulated the right axillary and the left femoral arteries. The right atrium was cannulated for systemic venous return, and the right radial artery was used for arterial blood pressure monitoring. The myocardium was protected with retrograde cardioplegia, and the body was protected with moderate hypothermia. Vascular clamps were placed to the proximal innominate, left carotid, and left subclavian arteries without discontinuing perfusion of the right axillary artery. A temporary clamp was applied to the femoral line, the aorta was transected, and a large Foley catheter was inserted through the true aortic lumen. The Foley bulb was positioned in the proximal descending thoracic aorta and distended with saline until the aortic blood return ceased. The femoral line clamp was removed from the cannula, and the entire body was perfused during the completion of the distal aortic anastomosis. At the completion of the anastomosis, the Foley bulb was slightly deflated. Once the inserted graft was filled with blood, a large vascular clamp was applied to the graft, and the previously placed clamps were removed from the arch branches. The femoral line was removed, and the body was perfused and rewarmed via the axillary cannulation. Following completion of the proximal graft-aortic anastomosis, the heart was reperfused, and all cannulas were removed in the usual fashion. Rapid recovery characterized the patient's initial postoperative course; however, multiple organ failure secondary to pump-induced inflammatory response followed. Aggressive medical management resulted in complete patient recovery. No neurologic deficits were observed, and the patient regained full cognitive function. This report describes a simple approach to facilitate repair of the aortic arch and minimize postoperative organ failure.

AbstractA coherent perception of spatial orientation is key in maintaining postural control. To achieve this the brain must access sensory inputs encoding both the body and the head position and integrate them with incoming visual information. Here we isolated the contribution of proprioception to verticality perception and further investigated whether changing the body position without moving the head can modulate visual dependence—the extent to which an individual relies on visual cues for spatial orientation. Spatial orientation was measured in ten healthy individuals [6 female; 25–47 years (SD 7.8 years)] using a virtual reality based subjective visual vertical (SVV) task. Individuals aligned an arrow to their perceived gravitational vertical, initially against a static black background (10 trials), and then in other conditions with clockwise and counterclockwise background rotations (each 10 trials). In all conditions, subjects were seated first in the upright position, then with trunk tilted 20° to the right, followed by 20° to the left while the head was always aligned vertically. The SVV error was modulated by the trunk position, and it was greater when the trunk was tilted to the left compared to right or upright trunk positions (p < 0.001). Likewise, background rotation had an effect on SVV errors as these were greater with counterclockwise visual rotation compared to static background and clockwise roll motion (p < 0.001). Our results show that the interaction between neck and trunk proprioception can modulate how visual inputs affect spatial orientation.

In the elderly, the problem of insomnia tends to have the potential to cause physical and mental health problems in particular. Insomnia is a condition when a person has difficulty sleeping or cannot sleep well and can make the elderly more susceptible to several diseases. This insomnia disorder can be overcome by SEFT therapy. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) including relaxation techniques, is a form of mind-body therapy of complementary and alternative therapies in nursing. SEFT is a technique of combining the body's energy system (energy medicine) and spiritual healing using the tapping method at certain points on the body (Zainuddin, 2009). This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design using a two-group pretest-posttest design with control group design Research sample of 30 elderly people (15 people including the experimental group and 5 people including the control group) The results of this study explain that SEFT therapy is effective in reducing insomnia In the elderly at the Bhakti Abadi Nursing Home in Balikpapan, there was a change in the mean value of insomnia where before being given SEFT therapy the average insomnia was 28.93 which was included in the severe category and after being given SEFT therapy had an average value of 23.53 which was included in the mild category Keywords: Insomnia, SEFT Therapy

Background :The falling risk is an event reported by a patient or family who sees an incident, which results in a person suddenly lying, sitting on the floor or lower place with or without loss of consciousness or injury. Falls can occurwhen the body’s postural, control system fails to detectshifting and not repositioning the center of gravity toward the body support at the right time.  In Indonesia, the elderly who live in communities experience an annual fall or around 30%. The incidence of falls in the elderly living in the community increased from 25% at the age 70 to 35% after being over 75 years old. One cause of the fall is a disturbance in the pattern of roads. Therefore it is necessary to practice early detection of the risk of falling in the elderly. Target and output 100% of extension participants consisting of the elderly can increase their knowledge and understanding of early detection training on the risk of falling on the elderly. Methods of conducting lectures and demonstrations or exercises. The result of the elderly can mention how to detect risk in the elderly and can do exercises to prevent falls. Conclusion elderly know how to detect the risk of early fall in the elderly.
