The use of information and communication technology in a company gives an important contribution for the achievement of business objectives. PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, especially in the Business Solutions and Services Operations (BSSO), plays a significant role in the utilization of information and communication technology assets to PT Perusahaan Gas Negara. It takes a good IT governance for BSSO to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT usage. Audit of IT governance maturity using COBIT 4.1. Maturity model level used to determine the maturity level of IT usage in the enterprise with a scale of 0 (non-existent) to 5 (optimized). This study focused on two domains namely Plan and Organise (PO) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME) model to measure the maturity level of IT maturity levels in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara. From this study, the results of the maturity level domain PO is 3.13 and ME is 2.98, it can be given the conclusion that the maturity level of IT governance at PT PGN is in level 3 (defined). At this level means that all the procedures in the company are standardized and documented, but the company is still not able to detect the deviations that have occurred.

<p>ABSTRAK<br />Dosis pupuk N, P, dan K optimal untuk akar wangi belum diketahui<br />dan penggunaannya  masih beragam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk<br />mendapatkan komposisi dosis pupuk N, P, dan K optimal yang dapat<br />meningkatkan produktivitas akar wangi. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa<br />Sukakarya, Garut dari bulan Januari 2009 sampai dengan Desember 2010<br />menggunakan rancangan Acak Kelompok, dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan<br />meliputi 9 kombinasi pupuk N, P, dan K: (1). Kontrol; (2) 100 kg SP-36 +<br />75 kg KCl; (3) 100 kg ZA + 75 kg KCl; (4) 100 kg ZA + 50 kg SP-36 + 75<br />kg KCl; (5) 100 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl; (6) 100 kg ZA + 100<br />kg SP-36 + 150 kg KCl; (7) 100 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36; (8) 200 kg ZA +<br />100 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl; (9) 200 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36 + 150 kg KCl.<br />Panen dilakukan pada 12, 14, dan 16 bulan setelah tanam (BST). Hasil<br />menunjukkan bahwa pemupukan dosis 100 kg ZA + 75 kg KCl<br />menghasilkan minyak 52,59 dan 67,78 kg/ha (12 dan 14 BST) dan 200 kg<br />ZA + 100 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl menghasilkan 67,76 kg /ha (16 BST),<br />dengan kadar vetiverol lebih dari 50%.<br />Kata kunci: Vetiveria zizanioides, pemupukan, vetiverol, produksi, mutu<br />minyak</p><p>ABSTRACT<br />The optimum dosage of N, P, and K fertilizer has not been known<br />yet and it usage was still varied. The research aim is to obtain an optimal<br />composition of N, P, and K fertilizer that could increase productivity of<br />vetiver crop. The researsch has been conducted in Sukakarya Village,<br />Garut, from January 2009 to December 2010. The research was arranged<br />in randomized block design, with 3 replications and N, P, and K fertilizer<br />combination treatments i.e.: (1) Control; (2) 100 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl;<br />(3) 100 kg ZA + 75 kg KCl; (4) 100 kg ZA + 50 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl;<br />(5) 100 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36 + 75 kg KCl; (6) 100 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-<br />36 + 150 kg KCl; (7) 100 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36; (8) 200 kg ZA + 100 kg<br />SP-36 + 75 kg KCl; (9) 200 kg ZA + 100 kg SP-36 + 150 kg KCl.<br />Harvesting was done at 12, 14 and 16 months after planting (MAP). The<br />result showed that the dose of 100 kg ZA + 75 kg KCl produced vetiver oil<br />52,59 and 67,78 kg/ha (12 and 14 MAP). Enterprise systems are becoming more important as they support the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and reduce cost. In this chapter we explored the literature related to production information systems (PIS), enterprise systems, and other applications and their influence in an industrial zone in Jordan. Constructs from the Innovation Diffusion Theory were used, where results indicated that the adoption rate is acceptable and all variables have high means with respect to their evaluation by managers, but only two variable significantly predicted intention to use. In a second study that explored the status of IT usage in manufacturing firms using a different sample, results indicated that accounting information systems were widely used and distribution systems and manufacturing aiding systems were the least used. Other findings, conclusions and future work are stated at the end of the chapter.

Advances in wireless communications and information technology have made the Mobile Web a reality. The Mobile Web is the response to the need for anytime, anywhere access to information and services. Many wireless applications have already been deployed and are available to customers via their mobile phones and wirelessly-connected PDAs. However, as communications and other IT usage becomes an integral part of many people’s lives and the available products and services become more varied and capable, users expect to be able to personalize a service to meet their individual needs and preferences. The involved sectors have to meet these challenges by reengineering their front-end and back-end office. This article will examine the interaction requirements regarding a friendlier, personalized and more effective multi-channel services environment. It will present the mobility challenges and constraints implemented into the business sector, investigating the current m-commerce situation and the extended user characteristics presenting a high level user-centric m-commerce architecture.

In this research, we look at the antecedents of accounting information system (AIS) usage and their impact on the effectiveness of AIS. Therefore, drawing upon the resource-based view (RBV) and the technology–organization–environment (TOE) framework, we propose an integrated model to investigate the precursors and impacts of AIS utilization among Jordanian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The model so proposed incorporates the usage of AIS and its performance aspects into one framework. The current research utilized a self-administered questionnaire survey to collect data. Using data drawn from 186 respondents, the research model was verified empirically in the context of Jordanian SMEs. The findings revealed that compatibility, competitive pressure, organizational readiness, the commitment of the owners/managers and government supports have exerted a significant influence on the usage of AIS. In addition, the results demonstrated that AIS usage significantly influenced the effectiveness of AIS. In addition, firm size moderated the effect of AIS usage on AIS effectiveness. The findings of the current study afford insights as to how firms might garner improved usage of an AIS to gain better firm performance and provide contributions to the small but developing stream of research examining both antecedents and impacts of IS/IT usage.

<p class="0abstractCxSpFirst">The practice of learning, to acquire success, has so far been measured by the level of effectiveness with a percentage range from 0% to 100% and converted into values E to A. While in the science of knowledge, learning outcome is measured by effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness. Dwiyogo's research [1][2] and 2015 developed a tuition design model that combines face-to-face schooling using offline resources (print, audio, video, computer) and online knowledge training (internet and smart phones) known as Blended Learning-Based Instruction Design Models. Numerous studies have been conducted to test the potency, capability, and fascination of learning. However, the objectives of this study with respect to Dwiyogo’s model are: (1) examining experts on it usage, (2) applying the model in courses, and (3) testing the productivity, and capability.</p><p class="0abstractCxSpLast">This research makes use of the survey and quasi-experimental design methods. The data consists of a total of 3 experts, 113 students, and 6 teachers with result showing that the blended learning model using eight items produced huge output (= 4.750, SD = 0.361). Based on the components of the expert test, it can be concluded that the learning model developed is appropriate and can be implemented. Student opinion with respect to this model showed a high level of agreement (= 3.415, SD = 0.536). This shows that students who applied blended learning based instruction models responded positively to its implementation. Therefore, this technique can enhance knowledge thereby, making the act of efficient, effective, and instruction appeal.</p>
