As purposes of this research are to know: 1) The closeness of the relationship between learning style with learning achievement; 2) The closeness of the relationship between learning motivation with learning achievement; 3) The closeness of the relationship between learning style and learning motivation with learning achievement of Electrical Engineering Education Students at Jakarta State University. In this research using a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this research are Electrical Engineering Education at Jakarta State University with an affordable population of Electrical Engineering Students at Jakarta State University in 2017 with a sample of 70 students. The analy sis data techniques use descriptive statistical techniques, correlation hypothesis testing, simple regression tests, multiple regression tests that were previously performed prerequisite tests of analysis using the normality test and linearity test. The result showed that the result of the hypothesis test analysis with a significant level of 5% showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between learning style with learning achievement test result rcount = 0,56>rtable 0,235 with tcount of 5,57%>ttable  1,995 then the results of analysis of students learning styles produce dominant learning styles owned by students are the kinesthetic style by 38,571%, the visual style by 28,571%, the visual-kinesthetic styleby 22,857%, the auditory and visual-auditory by 4,286% and the least auditory-kinesthetic style by 1,429%; then there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation with learning achievement test result rcount = 0,503>rtable 0,235 with tcount of 4,8>ttable 1,995; and there is a positive and significant relationship between learning styles and learning motivation together with learning achievement Rcount = 0,606>Rtabel 0,235 with Fcount 19,44>Ftabel 3,31.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Keeratan hubungan antara gaya belajar dengan prestasi belajar; 2) Keeratan hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar; 3) Keeratan hubungan gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan populasi terjangkau mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan tahun 2017 dengan sampel sebanyak 70 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik statistika deskriptif, uji hipotesis korelasi, uji regresi sederhana, uji regresi ganda yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, hasil analisi uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5% menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar dengan prestasi belajar hasil pengujian rhitung = 0,56 > rtabel = 0,235 dengan thitung sebesar 5,57 > ttabel 1,995 kemudian hasil analisis gaya belajar mahasiswa menghasilkan gaya belajar dominan yang dimiliki mahasiswa yaitu gaya kinestetik sebesar 38,571%, gaya visual sebesar 28,571%, gaya visual-kinestetik sebesar 22,857%, gaya auditorial dan visual-auditorial sebesar 4,286% dan yang paling sedikit gaya auditorial-kinestetik 1,429%; hipotesis selanjutnya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar hasil pengujian rhitung = 0,503 > rtabel = 0,235 dengan thitung sebesar 4,8 > ttabel  1,995 ; dan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar hasil pengujian Rhitung = 0,606 > Rtabel = 0,235 dengan Fhitung 1,44 > Ftabel 19,44.

Objetivo: investigar os saberes e as motivações para formação inicial de estudantes de Educação Física Licenciatura, a partir das vivências pregressas e do início do curso. Métodos: a pesquisa caracterizou-se como descritiva com abordagem qualitativa e delineamento transversal. Participaram 16 estudantes do 1º ano do curso de Educação Física Licenciatura da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná. Para obtenção dos dados, foi utilizado como instrumento a entrevista semiestruturada com resultados tratados pela técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: os resultados relacionados aos saberes e motivações anteriores à entrada no curso, destacaram-se principalmente a presença de ter um professor na família, o gosto pelo esporte, o querer ser professor, o gosto pelo ensino, o professor de Educação Física da escola como um exemplo, ter um diploma de nível superior e a vivência esportiva. Em relação aos saberes e motivações pertinentes às vivências a partir da entrada no curso, destacaram-se os vínculos com os pares, professores e contato com a escola. Conclusão: os saberes são constituídos ainda na vida pregressa do potencial professor, com indicativos de motivação à docência, sendo importante para ampliação de saberes docentes, os vínculos estabelecidos a partir da entrada na licenciatura em Educação Física, relacionados ao apoio pessoal e acadêmico entre pares, à relação de afinidade com disciplinas e professores, além das experiências na escola.ABSTRACT. Knowledge that motivate in initial training in physical education. Objective: to investigate the knowledge and motivations for the initial formation of undergraduate Physical Education students, based on previous experiences and the beginning of the course.  Methods: the research was characterized as descriptive with a qualitative approach and transversal design. Participated 16 students of the 1st year of Physical Education Degree course of the State University of Western Paraná. To obtain the data, the semi-structured interview with results treated by the content analysis technique was used as instrument.  Results: the results related to the knowledge and motivations prior to entering the course were mainly the presence of having a teacher in the family, the taste for the sport, the want to be a teacher, the taste for teaching, the Physical Education teacher of the school as a for example, having a higher education diploma and sports experience. Regarding the knowledge and motivations pertinent to the experiences from the entrance to the course, the most important were the links with the peers, teachers and contact with the school. Conclusion: the knowledge is still constituted in the previous life of the potential teacher, with indicatives of motivation to teaching, being important for the expansion of teaching knowledge, the links established from the entrance in the degree in Physical Education, related to personal and academic support between peers, the relationship of affinity with disciplines and teachers, as well as experiences in school.

ResumoO presente trabalho apresenta uma investigação sobre o processo de escuta musical em smartphones. Tem como foco alunos do Curso de Licenciatura em Música e visa compreender como estudantes de música realizam suas escutas musicais por meio de smartphones. A pesquisa é um desdobramento e ao mesmo tempo aprofundamento de questões abordadas em outra pesquisa, desenvolvida por meio do Programa de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC), que fez um levantamento mais amplo sobre tal processo. Desta vez, no entanto, realiza-se um estudo de casos, buscando responder a questões referentes às funções da escuta musical em smartphones e a relação da escuta musical com a formação recebida no curso de licenciatura. A investigação foi realizada com três alunos do Curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade do Estado do Pará e para a coleta dos dados utilizou-se as entrevistas semiestruturadas, que após sua conclusão, foram todas devidamente transcritas e analisadas. A pesquisa encontra-se concluída.AbstractThis paper presents an investigation about the process of listening to music on smartphones. It focuses on students of the Licenciatura Course in Music and aims to understand how music students perform their listening through smartphones. The research is an unfolding and at the same time deepening of issues addressed in another research, developed through the Program of Scientific Initiation (PIBIC), which made a broader survey on this process. This time, however, a case study is conducted, seeking to answer questions related to the functions of listening to music on smartphones and the relationship of listening to music with the training received in the undergraduate course. The research was carried out with three students of the Licentiate Course in Music of the State University of Pará and for the collection of the data the semistructured interviews were used, which, after their conclusion, were all properly transcribed and analyzed. The search is complete.

The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  determine  the  effect  oflearning motivation, peers  on  academic procrastination and student learning achievement of student of the Departemen of Economic Education, State University of  Padang. This  research  is  causative. The  population of  this  study  are  students majoring in Economics Education, State University of Padang 2014, 2015 and 2016years a namber 337 students and obtained as many samples 77 students by using a formula proportional random sampling. The analytical method used is path analysis using SPSS version 21. The results of this study indicate that (1) peers contribute to the learning motivation, (2) learning motivation, peers contribute simultaneously and significantly to the academic procrastination and (3) learning motivation , academic peers and procrastination contribute simultaneously and significantly to the learning achievement. The implementation from this Economic Education students will improve their motivation to learn and interact with peers and not take action to postpone doing assignments so that students of Economic Education can improve learning achievement optimally. Keywords: learning motivation, peers, academic procrastination, and learning achievemen

The retail market in Vietnam continues to grow with the entry of foreign retail brands and the strong rise of domestic businesses in expanding distribution networks and conquering consumer confidence. The appearance of more retail brands has created a fiercely competitive market. Based on the outcomes of previous research results on brand choice intention combined with a customer survey, the paper proposes an analytical framework and scales to examine the relationship of five elements including store image, price perception, risk perception, brand attitudes, brand awareness and retail brand choice intention with a case study of the Hanoi-based Circle K convenience store chain. These five elements are the precondition for retail businesses to develop their brands so as to attract customers.

Several studies have shown that the success of interregional cooperation may be influenced by coordination, commitment, participation, variance of cooperation, structure, format of cooperation, and political will. Nevertheless, these factors do not stand alone since actor relations as a determining aspect is capable of driving those factors effectively. This article aims to examine the aspect of actor relations as a contributing factor that determines successful cooperation among regions. This is a qualitative research with the policy of inter-regional cooperation of the Banjarbakula Program, South Kalimantan Province from February 2017 to February 2018, set as its object of study. The result of this study states that the success of inter-regional cooperation is influenced by the relationship of actors in development factors as suggested by previous experts. The actors involved in the inter-regional cooperation examined in this case had become triggers of coordination, commitment, and participation toward success and failure, as well as the effectiveness of regional cooperation policy. Structural obstacles, ego-centric character, minimum budget availability, and non-visionary planning could be overcome as long as actor relations were properly managed.

ABSTRAKHasil belajar (prestasi belajar) merupakan perubahan perilaku yang diperoleh seseorang setelah mengalami aktivitas belajar. Perolehan aspek-aspek perubahan perilaku tersebut tergantung pada apa yang dipelajari oleh seseorang. Berhasil atau tidaknya seseorang untuk belajar disebabkan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pencapaian hasil belajar (prestasi belajar) yaitu berasal dari dalam diri orang yang belajar dan ada pula yang dari luar dirinya. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya, diantaranya adalah motivasi dan minat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi dan minat masuk Program Studi D  III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa  STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Program Studi D III Kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro sebanyak 39 mahasiswa dengan  teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 39. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Analisis hubungan variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Yates Correction. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi masuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa           (ρ =0,027) dan ada hubungan antara minat masuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa (ρ =0,044). Saran untuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro agar meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Prodi D III kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro dengan cara dosen atau pembimbing akademik menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang menarik, sarana prasarana yang menunjang, hubungan antara dosen dan mahasiswa yang baik, sehingga mahasiswa terdorong untuk butuh dan terus belajar dan melakukan pemantauan dan pendekatan lebih dalam terhadap mahasiswa tentang tujuan mereka untuk masuk di Program Studi D III Kebidanan. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, minat, prestasi belajar  ABSTRACT      Results of learning (learning achievement) is obtained by a person's behavior changes after experiencing learning activities. Acquisition aspects of the behavior change depending on what is learned by someone. Success or failure of someone to learn due to several factors that affect the achievement of learning outcomes (learning achievement) that comes from within the person who studied and some are from outside himself. Many factors influence it, such as motivation and interest. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of motivation and interest in D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement STIKES Insan Scholar Husada Bojonegoro. This type of research is analytic correlation. This study used cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all students of the D III Midwifery STIKES Insan Husada Bojonegoro Scholar at least 39 students with a total sampling with a sample of 39. This study used a questionnaire instrument. Variable correlation analysis done using Yates Correction. Results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between motivation incoming D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement (ρ = 0.027) and there is a correlation between interest in D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement (ρ = 0.044). Suggestions for Study Program D III Midwifery STIKES Insan Scholar Husada Bojonegoro in order to increase student achievement Prodi DIII midwifery personnel STIKES Scholar Husada Bojonegoro by way of a professor or academic supervisor creates an attractive learning conditions, infrastructure that support, the relationship between faculty and students good , so that students are encouraged to take and continue to learn and perform monitoring and deeper approach to the students about their goals for entry in the D III Midwifery Studies Program. Managers play an important role in organizations. They are the persons who formulate and implement policies, plans etc in the organization. Managers are the first to be contacted for suggestions with regard to overall information about the organization. Taking into consideration the importance of managers in the organization and a critical review of literature which revealed that the study on work motivation, burnout and intention to leave has not been conducted so far on the top level managers of garment industry of Delhi and NCR, the researcher found a gap to be filled by  conducting investigation on this sample for the variables in question. So the sample of the present study consists of top level managers of garment industry of Delhi and NCR. Thus, a convenient sampling method was used for drawing the sample from 60 garment export houses of Delhi and 40 of NCR. This paper gives a deep insight of work motivation, burnout and intention to leave for the top level managers of the garment industry of Delhi/NCR. In this paper we have checked the relationship of all dimensions of work motivation with the dimensions of burnout and intention to leave and have observed that all dimensions of work motivation have some more or less relationship with each dimension of burnout but neither of the dimensions of work motivation or total work motivation have any relationship with intention to leave. So even if top level managers leave their current job they don’t leave because of lack of work motivation.

El cambio de modelo urbano asumido durante el siglo XX, trajo un sinnúmero de problemas como la priorización del vehículo, por lo que en la última década han surgido esfuerzos para dotar de importancia al ciudadano de a pie, en el espacio público. Esta investigación estudió las condiciones físico-espaciales de un corredor urbano donde el modelo centrado en el vehículo se acentúa, con la fnalidad de generar posibles estrategias que reviertan esta situación. Se tomó como caso de estudio a la Av. 24 de Mayo, en Azogues, y se lo analizó mediante una metodología mixta, que evaluó, detalladamente, tres zonas de estudio, determinando que la falta de accesibilidad y conectividad y el modelo de movilidad defendido por la ciudadanía, en general, infuyen directamente en las condiciones del espacio público peatonal y por ende en la habitabilidad urbana, perjudicando los desplazamientos a pie. AbstractThe change of urban model assumed during the 20th century, brought countless problems such as the prioritization of vehicles, so in the last decade eforts have emerged to give importance to the citizen on foot in the public space. This original research studied the relationship of urban habitability with the physical-spatial conditions of an urban corridor, where the vehicle-centered model is accentuated, to generate possible strategies to reverse this situation. The Av. 24 de Mayo in Azogues was taken as a case study and analyzed using a mixed methodology that evaluated in detail three study areas, determining that the lack of accessibility and connectivity and the mobility model defended by citizens in general have a direct infuence on the conditions of the pedestrianpublic space and, therefore, on urban habitability, which afects walking Keywords: Public space; urban habitability; connectivity; accessibility; perception.
