This paper reviews and compares the opportunities and challenges in terms of port and intermodal development in China and India—the two fast-growing economic giants in the world. The study analyzes the future direction of these two countries’ port-hinterland intermodal development from the sustainability perspective. Both China and India face some major opportunities and challenges in port-hinterland intermodal development. The proposal of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road, also known as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), offers plentiful opportunities for China. A challenge for China is that its development of dry ports is still in the infancy stage and thus it is unable to catch up with the pace of rapid economic growth. As compared with China, India focuses more on the social aspect to protect the welfare of its residents, which in turn jeopardizes India’s port-hinterland intermodal development in the economic sense. The biggest challenge for India is its social institution, which would take a long time to change. These in-depth comparative analyses not only give the future direction of port-hinterland intermodal development in China and India but also provide references for other countries with similar backgrounds.

The paper examines the implications of the extensive and increasingly significant Chinese knowledge diaspora for the Europe of Knowledge. Based on extensive fieldwork, the paper examines the size, significance and key issues surrounding the growth of the Chinese Knowledge Diaspora. A portrait is developed of a highly-skilled group (bi-lingual and bi-cultural) who have the capacity to contribute to teaching and research both in China and their host nations, and who are often willing and eager to act as a bridge between both sides. Reference is also made to China’s numerous Overseas Talent Recruitment Schemes, which often target such individuals, and to the significance of this group to China’s dramatic, and ongoing, scientific rise. Key issues are discussed, as well as some limitations and the prospects for the future. Based on available information, data on PRC students and academics in Europe are presented and an assessment made of both the potential, and of the relatively limited impact, compared with major English-language countries of migration, such as the US, Canada and Australia. The analysis concludes with an assessment of prospects for a new epistemic Silk Road, and some of the barriers to its development.

Hinduism is the oldest religion beginning in India. The development of Hinduism spread to the other parts of Asia, one of them is in Southeast Asia. The development of Hinduism in Indonesian territory is unavoidable because of the trading which was conducted between the kingdoms in Indonesia and other kingdoms in Asia. As we already know that Indonesia is a country that has become one of the places to go travelers who travel on the Silk Road. The Silk Road is a trade route in Asia where it delivers a lot of goods from the kingdoms in China to several kingdoms in Asia and sone of them are the kingdoms in Indonesia and in India. Therefore, we can see the influence of Chinese cultures and Indian cultures that are deeply embedded in Indonesian culture. One of the philosophies of Hinduism that still adheres to the people until today is the philosophy of karma in which Hindus believe that what we do today has an impact on what we will get in the future, it is a reflection of what we have planted in previous lives.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the foreign policy strategy of the USA in questions of controlling the transport corridors. The attention is given to the priority of the idea of revival of “The Silk Road” and forming the regional transport corridors that will promote the growth of national economies, stabilize the political situation, improve the investment atmosphere and help the countries to integrate into the world’s economical and political systems. The detailed analysis of the history, regional features of the implementation of the target is given. The scale of this project has caused sequence of its implementation. If at the beginning it was sad about revival of a trade way between Europe and Asia in general, then over time the United States of America pass to some tactics in forming the small transport corridors of regional value. In the future on their basis it will be possible to carry out the idea of “The Silk Road”. Taking into consideration the richness of hydrocarbons in the countries in Central Asia, the idea of building oil and gas pipelines has become the basis for regional transport corridors and will create an infrastructure basis for adjustment of a goods 260 turnover in the future. Even today the profit of transportation between the West and the East raises a great interest in the world community. The great significance is given to the Black Sea region, especially to Ukraine. Holding an important geopolitical position, it is together with other countries in the region, has to act as a guarantee of stability, democracy and integration. This will assist economical recovery of the participating countries, normalize a political situation.

The article examines the new economic strategy of China under the title "One belt - one way" and «Nurly zhol -The Way to the Future», the goals of which are development and integration link with Kazakhstan and China. In this research paper, we have tried to give a new opinion to the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the context of these project. The interactions of the two countries and common tasks within the framework of international regional associations are analyzed. The article considers the latest understandings in this area at the present stage. Relations of partnership and strategic interaction between Kazakhstan and China, recognized by the parties as "relations of a new type", have accumulated significant experience in cooperation in various fields.
