Computational methods for the representation and analysis of data have drastically increased the objectivity, reliability, and the practical implications of research conducted throughout most scientific pursuits. Our rapidly-emerging potential to transform digital data into objective measures of human behavior, thoughts, and feelings has perfectly positioned personality science as a critical discipline that will benefit from today’s ongoing digital revolution. Here, we review and discuss some of the most promising approaches to computational personality assessment based on data from experience sampling, natural language, online social media, mobile sensing, and images. We present a concise overview of key findings, discuss the potential and promise ofcomputational personality assessment, and highlight important remaining questions in their development and application. We conclude with an optimistic outlook on how computational assessment could fuel the transition from personality research to personality science.

Online social media have become one of the main communication platforms for political discussion. The online ecosystem, however, does not only include human users but has given a space to an increasing number of automated accounts, referred to as bots, extensively used to spread messages and manipulate the narratives others are exposed to. Although social media service providers put increasing efforts to protect their platforms, malicious bot accounts continuously evolve to escape detection. In this work, we monitored the activity of almost 245K accounts engaged in the Twitter political discussion during the last two U.S. voting events. We identified approximately 31K bots and characterized their activity in contrast with humans. We show that, in the 2018 midterms, bots changed the volume and the temporal dynamics of their online activity to better mimic humans and avoid detection. Our findings highlight the mutable nature of bots and illustrate the challenges to forecast their evolution.

This research begins with an understanding of the endemic radicalism of society, not only of the real world, but also of various online social media. This study showed that the avoidance of online radicalism can be stopped as soon as possible by accusing those influenced by the radical radicality of a secular religious approach. The methods used must be assisted in order to achieve balanced understanding (wasathiyah) under the different environmental conditions of the culture through recognizing the meaning of religion. The research tool used is primarily library work and the journal writings by Abu Rokhmad, a terrorist and radicalise specialist. The results of this study are that an approach that supports inclusive ism will avoid the awareness of radicalization through a heart-to-heart approach. This study also shows that radical actors will never cease to argue dramatically until they are able to grasp different views from Islamic law, culture, and families. Keywords: radicalism, deradicalization, multiculturalism, culture, religion, moderate.
Research linking selfie behavior and tourism management is very rarely implemented. Selfie behavior is more researched as part of psychology that studies human behavior. This study aims to find out (1) the influence of Selfie Tourism on Electronic Word of Mouth, (2) the influence of Selfie Tourism on Re-Visit Intention, and (3) the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth on Re-Visit Intention. This study uses estimates based on the number of parameters obtained by the sample size of 452 respondents with accidental sampling. Respondents who were included in this study were foreign tourists and domestic tourists who visited the tourism sites in West Sumatra for the first time. While hypothesis testing uses SEM. In this study all relationships between variables were found to be positive and significant. The implication of this study is that tourism managers not only pay attention to aspects of service such as hospitality, cleanliness and so on, but also provide attractive tourist attractions to be photographed and distributed to social media.

Penelitian yang menghubungkan perilaku selfie dan manajemen pariwisata sangat jarang dilaksanakan.
