Abstract According to many prior studies, informal caregivers are at risk for heightened loneliness and distress. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced new challenges that may be accentuated among caregivers. This study examined caregiving frequency and its relation to loneliness, perceived stress, and negative affect during the COVID-19 pandemic. We then investigated the moderating roles of COVID-19 concerns and impacts, anticipating magnified effects among caregivers. Participants included respondents from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) COVID-19 project sample (n=2108, mean age=69) who reported their caregiving frequency, general concern about COVID-19, related concerns about family members’ health, and social disruptions caused by the pandemic. Controlling for age, gender, and health status, daily caregivers reported significantly greater distress during COVID-19 compared to non-caregivers (p=.036). Higher levels of concern about family members’ health during COVID-19 was significantly associated with greater loneliness among daily caregivers (p = .009), but not among non-caregivers, such that daily caregivers with greater concerns had the highest levels of loneliness. On the other hand, unexpectedly, daily caregivers who experienced fewer social disruptions due to the pandemic reported higher levels of loneliness (p = .002); however, the association was null for non-caregivers. Findings suggest that daily caregivers may be particularly vulnerable to greater loneliness and stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences may exacerbate existing mental health disparities for those providing daily care.

Bilingual mean that we should be able to speak in two languages. The discussion of bilingual is the very important matter today, lots of studies and viewpoints have done on this issue; because there are many kids in the same time, they speak in two languages, they learn one language as their mother language and the second language they could learn from their other family members or sometimes even they learn third language in the area where they live and grow up. Children can learn the language since their born till they enter to the society or in the educational areas like; preschool, schools and so on. They can also learn language naturally or learn it official. In different countries lots of studies have done on bilingual and results of those investigations show that the children who are bilingual have high intelligence, and speaking in two languages causes children grants a lot of potential thinking, the child grows smarter and more talented; but despite in Afghanistan more children are bilingual, less research has done on this issue. The aim of this review was to evaluate the role of bilingualism on learning of bilingual children. The results of this study indicated that children who are bilingual have high intelligence and speaking in two languages makes children keener their potential thinking, and this kind of children are more talented and able than the other children who are monolingual. As much children start speaking in two languages since their born, their brains' actions grow more.

ABSTRACTAmong the described indicators of mitochondrial damage, externalization of the phospholipid cardiolipin (CL) to the outer mitochondrial membrane has been proposed to trigger mitophagy, acting as a signal for binding the autophagy protein LC3B. However, the behavior of the other LC3 subfamily members has not been explored yet. In the present contribution, a comparative analysis of the interaction of LC3B, LC3A and LC3C with CL-containing model membranes, as well as their ability to translocate to mitochondria was assessed. Binding of LC3A to CL was higher than that of LC3B, and both proteins showed a similar ability to colocalize with mitochondria upon induction of CL externalization by rotenone in HeLa-NDPK-D or SH-SY5Y cells. Two residues located in the N-terminal region of LC3A were shown to be important for its recognition of damaged mitochondria. Moreover, the in vitro results suggested a possible role of LC3A, but not of LC3B, in oxidized-CL recognition as a counterweight to excessive apoptosis activation. In the case of LC3C, even if this protein showed a higher binding than LC3B or LC3A to CL, binding was less specific, and colocalization of LC3C with mitochondria was not rotenonedependent. These results suggest that, at variance with LC3A, LC3C does not participate in the rotenone-CL mitophagy mechanism. The data support the notion that the various LC3/GABARAP family members might play different roles during autophagy initiation, identifying LC3A as a novel stakeholder in CL-mediated mitophagy.

SummaryWe measured total and free protein S (PS), protein C (PC) and factor X (FX) in 393 healthy blood donors to assess differences in relation to sex, hormonal state and age. All measured proteins were lower in women as compared to men, as were levels in premenopausal women as compared to postmenopausal women. Multiple regression analysis showed that both age and subgroup (men, pre- and postmenopausal women) were of significance for the levels of total and free PS and PC, the subgroup effect being caused by the differences between the premenopausal women and the other groups. This indicates a role of sex-hormones, most likely estrogens, in the regulation of levels of pro- and anticoagulant factors under physiologic conditions. These differences should be taken into account in daily clinical practice and may necessitate different normal ranges for men, pre- and postmenopausal women.

In the XIV century. centripetal tendencies began to appear in the Moscow principality. Inside the Russian church, several areas were distinguished. Part of the clergy supported the specificobar form. The other understood the need for transformations in society. As a result, this led to a split in the Russian church in the 15th century for "non-possessors" and "Josephites". The former linked the fate of the future with the ideology of hesychasm and its moral transformation, while the latter sought support in alliance with a strong secular power.

Bagi sesebuah negara yang mempunyai etnik pelbagai anutan kepercayaan dan perbezaan amalan budaya, dialog antara agama berperanan membetulkan semula kekaburan dalam kehidupan beragama dan berbudaya. Melalui peranan Saudara Baru, dialog antara agama mampu menjadi medan bagi menjelaskan kebenaran tentang agama Islam kepada masyarakat bukan Muslim dan pelaksanaan amalan budaya asal kepada Muslim asal. Objektif kajian ini ialah melihat pengalaman pelaksanaan dialog antara agama di Terengganu dan relevansi dalam kehidupan beragama di negara Brunei. Metode kajian ini menggunakan kajian dokumen yang menyentuh komuniti Cina Muslim di Terengganu dan Brunei. Pengalaman pelaksanaan dialog antara agama di Terengganu dan negara Brunei memperlihatkan dialog antara agama mampu membetulkan salah faham dan selanjutnya mengendurkan ketegangan hubungan antara agama dan budaya antara komuniti Saudara Baru, ahli keluarga bukan Muslim dan masyarakat Muslim asal. Biarpun begitu, adalah dicadangkan agar kajian yang menyentuh dialog antara agama perlu diperkukuhkan sebagai medium membina semula peradaban memandangkan penduduk di kedua-dua lokasi ini terdiri daripada berbilang etnik dan agama sedangkan pada masa yang sama masalah yang menyentuh hubungan antara agama sentiasa timbul. Abstract: For a country with diverse ethics of beliefs and cultural practices, interfaith dialogue plays a role to redefine ambiguity in religious and cultural life. Through the role of the New Muslim (Muslim Convert), interfaith dialogue can become a medium to explain the truth about Islam to the non-Muslims and the implementation of real cultural practices to the others Muslim. The objective of this study is to examine the experience of interfaith dialogue in Terengganu and in Brunei. The method of this study is being conducted in document research that related with the Muslim Chinese community in Terengganu and Brunei. In addition, interviews with people involved in the management of New Muslims also carried out. The experience of interfaith dialogue in Terengganu and Brunei shows that dialogue capable explains misunderstandings and further loosening the tension between religion and culture among New Muslims, non-Muslim family members and Muslim communities. However, it is recommended that studies on interfaith dialogue should be strengthened as a medium for rebuilding civilization as the residents of both locations are multi-ethnic and religious while at the same time the problem of interreligious persists.
