The ternary Cu-Al-Sn phase diagram is the base for several important types of alloys, with relevant industrial interest and applications. The knowledge of the melting/solidification alloys characteristics are determinant for their preparation and properties control. However, there is a lack of experimental information on the ternary phase diagram, at high temperature. In this work, several alloys, with high copper content and additions of Al, up to 10%, and Sn, up to 14% (in wt%), were studied by thermal analysis and by isothermal phase equilibria determination. The alloys liquidus and solidus lines and the binary ? + ? phase field, at 800?C, are presented for the studied range of compositions.

Isothermal sections of the In–Ni–P phase diagram have been determined at 600 °C and 470 °C. Two new ternary phases not previously identified in bulk samples were found. A phase with the composition Ni57In22P21 is present at both 600 °C and 470 °C and was found by differential thermal analysis to melt at 736 °C. The phase Ni2InP was found to be in equilibrium with InP at 470 °C, but it does not appear in the 600 °C isotherm since it melts at 526 °C. The phases (In), Ni2P, Ni5P4, and NiP2 are in equilibrium with InP at both temperatures studied.

Phase equilibria of quaternary system LiF-LiVO3-NaBr-NaVO3 were studied with differential thermal analysis method. The temperature and composition of eutectic point was determined: Е 458 ºС: 11.2% LiF, 57.2% LiVO3, 16% NaBr, 15.6% LiVO3.

Differential thermal analysis and powder X-ray diffraction methods were used for phase equilibria studying in the Cu3AsSe4-GeSe2 system. It was established that wide (up to 30 mol.%) solid solutions based on Cu3AsSe4 are formed. GeSe2-rich alloys consist of various heterogeneous mixtures, including phases outside the T–x plane of this section
