The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of performance evaluation of vendors especially in the vendor that provides a raw material for pressure vessel plate made of carbon steel. As for the evaluation process undertaken by PT. XYZ through performance indicators (KPI) where an evaluation that applied a focus on quality and delivery. In this study, researchers used the designation criteria vendor performance indicator (VPI) where the criteria used consist of quality, cost, delivery, flexibility and responsiveness (QCDFR). The methods used in the analysis process that is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Data collecting directionally by questionnaire method among 3 respondents on the procurement department that know the performance of the vendors over the years. The result showed that PT. RE has the best performance among the four vendors, as known PT.SS, PT. ST, PT. CH and PT. UN within value 0.540; The vendor with lowest performance owned by PT.CH within value 0.034.Keyword : Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), vendor performance indicator (vpi), plate pressure vessel, vendor performance evaluation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses evaluasi kinerja vendor khususnya pada vendor yang mensupplai bahan baku plate pressure vessel berbahan carbon steel. CH dengan nilai bobot sebesar 0.034.Kata kunci : Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), vendor performance indicator (VPI), plate pressure vessel, evaluasi kinerja vendor.

The laser re-melting treatment was performed on the plasma-sprayed Fe-based amorphous coating to ameliorate the corrosion performance of the coating. The re-melting depth was about 200 μm which was mainly controlled by laser energy input, beam speed and facular dimension. The microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The corrosion property of the coatings was addressed via electrochemistry methods in a 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. The results indicate that the plasma-sprayed coating becomes much denser after laser re-melting treatment. The connected porosity ratio in as-sprayed coating dramatically reduces from 16.3% to 2.4% after laser re-melting. The as-sprayed coating mainly contains amorphous and much limited crystal phase, and some amorphous phase in the as-sprayed coating crystalizes during laser re-melting. Polarization test demonstrated that the as-sprayed coating has a significantly dramatical effect for improving corrosion performance of carbon steel, while the laser re-melting process is a more efficient method. The influence level of the coating compactness in this study is roughly two times as big as that of amorphous in coating, in the term of improving corrosion resistance of carbon steel.

: Current additive manufacturing (AM) processes are mainly focused on powder bed technologies, such as electron beam melting (EBM) and selective laser melting (SLM). However, the main disadvantages of such techniques are related to the high cost of metal powder, the degree of energy consumption, and the sizes of the components, that are limited by the size of the printing cell. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the environmental behavior of low carbon steel (ER70S-6) produced by a relatively inexpensive AM process using wire feed arc welding. The mechanical properties were examined by tension testing and hardness measurements, while microstructure was assessed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. General corrosion performance was evaluated by salt spray testing, immersion testing, potentiodynamic polarization analysis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Stress corrosion performance was characterized in terms of slow strain rate testing (SSRT). All corrosion tests were carried out in 3.5% NaCl solution at room temperature. The results indicated that the general corrosion resistance of wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) samples were quite similar to those of the counterpart ST-37 steel and the stress corrosion resistance of both alloys was adequate. Altogether, it was clearly evident that the WAAM process did not encounter any deterioration in corrosion performance compared to its conventional wrought alloy counterpart.
