This research is motivated by efforts to improve scientific literacy skills and build the skills of 21st century students by developing the concept of Android-based science learning devices. Learning device are developed so that students can learn independently, quickly, practically, not limited by time and space, and students are ready to compete in the global world. This study aims to describe the feasibility of developing Android-based science learning tools for college students. This device was developed with a 4-D model by Thiagarajan. The tools developed are: RPP, e-book, LKM and evaluation tools. The research subjects were college UNIROW students who took the Science Concept 2018/2019 course. Collecting data using questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From the results of the validation and test results, it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are categorized as good, valid and suitable for use in learning.

The scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This condition encourages the government to improve the ability to solve problems, namely by issuing Permendikbud Number 65 of 2013 concerning the standards for the process of primary and secondary education, including the development of the domain of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This development research aims to produce science learning tools on the topic of classification of living things in class VII of the SMP Negeri which are valid, practical and effective. Development research refers to the device development model with phases 1) Identifying problems, 2) Describing objectives, 3) Designing and developing devices, 4) Performing tests, 5) Evaluating test results, and 6) Communicating test results. Data was collected using instruments and evaluation questions. All data collected was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning device was declared valid. Practical learning tools are used based on the results of the lesson plan implementation and student responses. Learning tools are also effectively based on results 1) cognitive assessment 2) psychomotor, social, and spiritual assessment, 3) critical thinking assessment, 4) student activity on teaching and learning activities and, 5) teacher response to teaching and learning activities.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model OrDeP2E pada materi gelombang bunyi untuk melatihkan kemampuan literasi Sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinilai oleh dua orang. Data validasi diperoleh menggunakan penilaian perangkat dengan kategori 1-4. Penelitian ini mengacu pada pengembangan model 4-D. Perangkat yang divalidasi yaitu a) RPP, b) BAS, c) LKS, dan d) Tes Kemampuan Literasi Sains. Hasil analisis data yang sudah divalidasi menunjukkan bahwa a) RPP mendapatkan skor 3,34 (valid), a) BAS mendapatkan skor 3,52 (valid), c) LKS mendapatkan skor 3,47 (valid), d) tes kemampuan literasi sains mendapatkan skor 3,70 (sangat valid). Hasil analisis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran OrDeP2E; Validitas Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the validity of the OrDeP2E model of physics learning on sound wave material to train the science literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. The learning tools developed were assessed by two people. Validation data were obtained using device ratings with categories 1-4. This study refers to the development of a 4-D model. The validated tools are a) lesson plans, b) BAS, c) worksheets, and d) Science Literacy Ability Test. The results of data analysis that have been validated show that a) RPP scores 3.34 (valid), a) BAS scores 3.52 (valid), c) LKS scores 3.47 (valid), d) tests of scientific literacy skills get a score of 3.70 (very valid). The results of the analysis of the learning tools developed are suitable to be used to improve the scientific literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. Keywords: OrDeP2E Learning Model; The Validity of Physics Learning Devices.

Science literacy is a means for students to practice scientific thinking to solve problems in everyday life. Discovery learning with Madura Ethnoscience approach can improve scientific literacy skills. The aim was to determine the students' scientific literacy profile by applying discovery learning with the Madura ethnoscience approach. The study design used the one-shot case study method. The research subjects were 27 students of SMP Negeri 1 Labang Bangkalan Madura. Data collection used scientific literacy questions in the form of essay questions. Research showed students' scientific literacy skills based on the results of the literacy test, results obtained an average value of 67.93% with an average functional level of 71%, conceptual and procedural 65%, and multidimensional 66%. The average level of student's literacy ability is at level 3 of 10 students; level 4 as many as two students; level 5 as many as ten students; and five students are at level 6. The ability to explain phenomena scientifically, evaluate and investigate scientific, and interpret data and scientific evidence was based differences in each level in the aspect of competence.

In learning science, it is necessary to have a learning model that can integrate scientific literacy skills. This study aimed to develop discovery learning-based module to improve students’ scientific literacy. We used R & D research that adapts the 4-D model device development procedure, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Product assessment was carried out after revision stage I by 3 media experts, 3 material experts, and 1 SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti teacher. To determine student responses, the product was tested for feasibility and readability on 5 X grade students of SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti through a limited trial. The product was revised and tested again through a broad trial on 16 students. The revision through experts’ comments and students’ initial responses has affected the readability, feasibility, and usability of developed Newton’s Law module. There were no students who have high scientific literacy. Students who have low scientific literacy were 13 and students who have moderate scientific literacy were 3. It can be said that the module cannot significantly improve students’ scientific literacy because of online learning environment. Science learning in Indonesia has not succeeded in increasing scientific literacy skills, as indicated by the decreasing international ranking from year to year. One of the efforts made to improve scientific literacy is using Android-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the need for the development of instructional media to improve students' scientific literacy at MTs Al Uswah Bergas Semarang Regency. This type of research is a descriptive study that is to describes the current situation. The data instruments used were interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The results of the research on the analysis of the needs for learning media based on android showed that 38% of the 80 students, namely 30 students agreed to develop Android-based learning media, while 29% of the students showed disagreement, 21% strongly agreed, and 12% strongly disagreed. There are aspects of literacy then students including; literacy as mastery of science as knowledge was 63%, 66% as a way of thinking, 62% of scientific literacy as a way of learning, 62% of the aspects of mastery of the competence of the interaction of science, technology, and society. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the development of Android-based mobile learning media to improve students' scientific literacy

AbstrakPencapaian prestasi matematika siswa di Indonesia masih rendah, terlihat dari hasil studi PISA pada tahun 2015. Salah satu faktornya dikarenakan siswa kurang terlatih menyelesaikan soal berkarakteristik seperti soal PISA. Dibutuhkan suatu pengembangan soal yang mampu memberi ruang pada siswa untuk melatih kemampuan literasi matematis yang salah satunya yaitu kemampuan literasi statistika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan soal statistika model PISA yang berkualitas untuk melatih kemampuan literasi statistika siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development dengan Model 4D (Four D). Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII (8) B SMP Negeri 1 Bintan tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen untuk mengukur kevalidan soal dan lembar hasil uji coba. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data hasil validasi soal dan hasil uji coba. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tujuh (7) butir soal yang berkualitas yaitu valid, reliabel, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukaran yang baik. Soal ini mampu menarik minat, memotivasi dan memberikan stimulus kepada subjek uji coba untuk memunculkan kemampuan literasi statistika siswa. Development of the Statistical Test Instrument PISA Model for practicing students' statistical literacy skillsAbstractThe achievement of the mathematics achievement of students in Indonesia is still low, it can be seen from the results of the PISA study in 2015. One of the factors is because students are not trained to solve problems with characteristics such as PISA questions. It takes a development of questions that can provide space for students to practice mathematical literacy, one of which is the ability of statistical literacy. This study aims to develop quality PISA model statistical problems to practice the statistical literacy skills of students. The type of research used was Research and Development with the 4D (Four D) Model. The subject of this research trial was grade VIII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Bintan in the academic year 2018/2019. Data collection instruments used were instruments to measure the validity of questions and test results sheets. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the data validation of the questions and the results of the trial. This study produced 7 quality items namely valid, reliable, distinguishing features, and a good level of difficulty. This question is able to attract interest and motivate and provide stimulus to test subjects to bring up the statistical literacy skills of students.

This sresearch aims to apply the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) to improve scientific literacy through understanding science concepts, basic science process skills and scientific work on science learning for fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo Madiun City. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. each cycle has 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. the subjects in this study are fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo. The results of the study using the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) in natural science learning showed an increase in scientific literacy, namely the maintenance of the science concept in terms of an increase in the class average value with a cycle value of 76.71 and an increase in 77 in cycle II. 81, there are basic process skills in students in the first cycle 30% and second cycle 60% and the scientific attitude of students in the second cycle that shows high categories, namely very good. Based on the results of the above study it can be concluded that the use of the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) can improve scientific literacy through understanding the science concept, basic process skills and scientific work of students at SDN 02 Mojorejo Madiun in science learning with green plant matter.

This study aims to reveal the feasibility, quality, and characteristics of scientific literacy assessment instruments with electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions, to measure students' scientific literacy skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This study uses the development model of Oriondo and Dallo-Antonio which consists of five stages, namely planning for making assessment instruments, testing instruments, determining empirical validity, determining reliability, and interpreting scores. The initial product of the assessment instrument was validated by two experts, and one chemistry teacher. This research was conducted in three state vocational schools in Lubuklinggau City with a total of 30 students as research subjects. Data collection through developed assessment instruments. The test results of the assessment instrument were analyzed using Rasch's Item Response Theory model with the help of the Winstep 3.73 program. The chemical literacy ability assessment instrument consisting of 25 essay questions was declared feasible and valid with a minimum value of 0.75 and 0.79 on the Aiken index. The results of empirical validation show that 20 items are valid in the analysis of the results of the first trial and there are 17 items as the final product. The final product of the instrument consists of three categories of difficulty, including three items in the difficult category, 12 items in the medium category, and two items in the easy category. The assessment instrument has a high reliability score, namely the Cronbach alpha value of 0.86 in the first trial; 0.92 trial II; and 0.89 in trial III. The profile of students' scientific literacy ability is generally good, in terms of context,

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the blended learning rotation model to improve the scientific literacy skill of prospective teacher students. The design of this study used the Posttest-only design with nonequivalent groups. The research subjects were 76 students majoring in biology education at Universitas Mataram. The research was done to two experimental groups, namely the blended learning station rotation model (BLSRM) and regular learning (RL). The research instrument used a multiple-choice test which refers to the aspects of scientific literacy competence according to PISA. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively, complete with the Hotelling's T2 test to test the effect of BLSRM on students' scientific literacy skills. The results showed that students' scientific literacy skills were in the very low category (mean BLSRM = 38.50, RL = 34.22) and there was no effect of BLSRM on students' scientific literacy skills (Hotteling Trace = .098 and Sig. = .080). To improve students' scientific literacy skills, BLSRM needs to be combined with other models such as problem-solving model, so it can be an effective strategy in science learning

The Extraordinary School (SLB) 4 Jakarta is a school special for deafness students. The deafness students has a difference with a normal students, so there are special treatment for them especially in mathematics teaching. When we observe to school, we get some information about they services to students,  one of the information was that the mathematics teacher taught students using inquiry model. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the application of mathematics learning models in SLBN 4 Jakarta for class XI students with hearing impairment in terms of planning and implementing learning, student responses and test results during the learning process, as well as the learning tools or media used. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research subjects namely one mathematics class teacher and five students of SLBN 4 Jakarta class XI in the 2018/2019 school year. The collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The preparation of mathematics learning planning in SLBN 4 Jakarta curriculum used was the 2013 curriculum (2) The implementation of mathematics learning in SLBN 4 Jakarta used the expository method and MMR (Reflective Maternal Method) (3) There were 2 results of learning activities, namely student responses and test results (4) mathematics learning tools or media used by teachers are still conventional.
