The aim of this research was to analyse the differences between the self acceptence of parents with handicapped children based on their involvment in the support group compared to those without any involvement. In this research, 64 parents with handicapped children were selected using nonprobability sampling with incidental sampling type. The samples comprised of 32 parents with involvement in support group and the remaining were without any involvement. Adapted Berger Self Acceptance Scale was used for the measurement of the research. Independent sample T-Test was the statistical analysis method used for the research. The result showed that t = 0, 267 with df = 62 ; t < t able (2) and p = 0,79 ; p > 0,05, meaning Ho was accepted and H1 was rejected. The result showed that there is no significance different between self acceptence of parents with handicaped children who join the support group with those who have not joined the group. Discussion of this research concluded there are several factors influencing this finding, such as family, cultural problems, and religious view, beside social and economic status.

Fixture Tolerance is one of the most important factors influencing the machined part accuracy. However caused by the manufacturing error and the assembly error of locator, the workpiece location error should not be neglected, which has led to fixture accuracy decay. A location error verification method is presented to improve the workpiece location accuracy. First, the origin of location error and the transfer process of error between locators and the workpiece are given. Second, random numbers and statistical analysis method are used to simulate locators’ errors. Finally, the location layout optimization model and the process are given. This method can be used to verify the location error and fixture design process.

Research highlights the importance of potato crop, which occupies a prominent food and economic status in food security besides rice, wheat and corn at the local and global level. Despite the expansion of the cultivation of potato crop in Iraq in general and Ameriyah district in particular However, potato productivity remains substandard, this may be due to a lack of knowledge of the most efficient varieties and not to use productive resources at the levels at which technical, specialized and economic efficiency is achieved. Therefore, the aim of the research is to determine the technical, specialized and economic efficiency according to the cultivated seed category. The data envelope analysis (DEA) method was used to estimate technical, specialized and economic efficiency, assuming constant and variable capacity returns. As a result of the study, the Safrana variety achieved the highest average technical efficiency according to the stability of the yield and capacity efficiency in addition to achieving the highest average specialized and economic efficiency, The Lapadia variety achieved the highest average technical efficiency, assuming that capacity returns have changed. Therefore, we recommend the adoption of items that achieve higher efficiency and the need to redistribute the elements of production better and Achieving the optimum levels at which technical, specialized and economic efficiency is achieved and saving what has been wasted.

The major objective of this study is to assess the financial performance and identify the affecting factors in this performance of non-oil manufacturing companies from 1999 to 2008. The study sample consisted of all non-oil manufacturing companies' enlisted at Libyan stock market which count (8). The data collected was analyzed by using statistical analysis method such as descriptive statistics, correlation test, Multiple- regression, as well as semi-structured interviews method. The results regarding to the statistical analysis method (net working capital, inventory turnover ratio, selling and general administrative expenses ratio, and company size and company age), have a positive statistical effect on the financial performance(ROA), while the variables of (current ratio, quick ratio and account receivable turnover ratio), have a negative statistical effect on the financial performance (ROA). The results regarding to semi-structured interviews method, reveal that the respondents in the interviews were confirmed that the selected factors have a significant effect on financial performance (ROA). The researcher recommended that the selected companies must consider the listed decision on the Libyan stock market; even when their financial performance is good.

Background: Many pediatric studies describe the association between biological parameters (BP) and severity of sickle cell disease (SCD) using different methods to collect or to analyze BP. This article assesses the methods used for collection and subsequent statistical analysis of BP, and how these impact prognostic results in SCD children cohort studies. Methods: Firstly, we identified the collection and statistical methods used in published SCD cohort studies. Secondly, these methods were applied to our cohort of 375 SCD children, to evaluate the association of BP with cerebral vasculopathy (CV). Results: In 16 cohort studies, BP were collected either once or several times during follow-up. The identified methods in the statistical analysis were: (1) one baseline value per patient (2) last known value; (3) mean of all values; (4) modelling of all values in a two-stage approach. Applying these four different statistical methods to our cohort, the results and interpretation of the association between BP and CV were different depending on the method used. Conclusion: The BP prognostic value depends on the chosen statistical analysis method. Appropriate statistical analyses of prognostic factors in cohort studies should be considered and should enable valuable and reproducible conclusions.

For 55 students (13 men, 42 women) there was a significant inverse correlation for scores on the Self-acceptance Scale and scores on the Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale, thereby giving credence to the construct validity of both scales, that is, the more one accepts oneself, the less negative evaluation there is of oneself.

The Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale was used to measure the self-esteem of 109 14- and l6-yr.-old (±6 mo.) girls. The self-esteem scores were categorized by economic status, race, and area of residence. For urban girls mean self-esteem of upper economic status subjects was significantly higher than that of those at the lower economic status. The self-esteem of upper economic status urban girls was significantly higher than the self-esteem of their rural peers. Finally, the self-esteem of the urban black girls was significantly higher than the self-esteem of the urban white girls.
