ABSTRACT:This study aims to develop a model of learning for children aged 4-5 years inestablishing the character of independence, discipline and honesty in children. This research usesresearch and development method, the outline has stages: 1) preliminary study, to identify theimplementation of character formation learning in kindergarten; 2) Development of characterformation learning model to form self-reliance, discipline and honesty. This stage is conductedthrough draft I (TK Al Husna, Bekasi) and draft II (Marsudirini TK,Jakarta). Model developmenttest (final draft) is conducted in TK Wijaya,Tangerang and TKAisyiyah, Bogor. The resultsshowed: 1) Children are not dependent on the parents and teachers in following the learning inschool; 2) More courageous; 3) More open; 4) Already understand the rules / school rules.Condition of teachers: 1) better able to realize the learning objectives; 2) able to developcharacter formation learning materials; 3) able to develop activity of character formationlearning activity and 4) able to conduct evaluation of learning result properly and correctly. Keywords: Learning model, Character Building, 4-5 Years Old Child ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran untuk anak usia4-5 tahun dalam membentuk karakter kemandirian, disiplin dan kejujuran pada anak. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), secara garisbesar memiliki tahapan: 1) studi pendahuluan, untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi pembelajaranpembentukan karakter di TK; 2) Pengembangan model pembelajaran pembentukan karakter untukmembentuk kemandirian, disiplin dan kejujuran. Tahapan ini dilakukan melalui uji coba draf I(TK. Al Husna, Bekasi) dan uji coba draf II (TK Marsudirini, Jakarta). Uji pengembangan model(draf final) dilakukan di TK Wijaya, Tangerang dan TK. Aisyiyah, Bogor.Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan: 1) Anak sudah tidak tergantung padaorang tuadan guru dalam mengikutipembelajaran di sekolah; 2) Lebih berani; 3) Lebih terbuka; 4) Sudah paham terhadap aturan/tatatertib sekolah. Kondisi guru: 1) lebih mampu merealisasikan tujuan pembelajaran; 2) mampumengembangkan materi pembelajaran pembentukan karakter; 3) mampu mengembangkanaktivitas kegiatan pembelajaran pembentukan karakter dan 4) mampu mengadakan evaluasi hasilpembelajaran secara baik dan benar. <p>The purpose of this research is to develop a game media of Snakes and Ladder of Faith which is effective for increasing the self-efficacy of students at SMP Negeri 2 Krian. This research and development method uses a research and development procedure with the following steps: 1) preliminary study, 2) media development, and 3) media testing. Based on the material expert's assessment, an average score of 0.46 was obtained which was categorized as quite feasible. Based on the media expert's assessment, an average score of 0.69 was obtained with the feasible category.  The results of the user test assessment obtained results of 92.3% with the very valid category or can be used without revision. Based on the results of the limited field test, it was obtained that tcount 4.058&gt; ttable 3.182 and Sig (2tailed) 0.027 &lt;0.05, so that H<sub>0</sub> was rejected and H<sub>a</sub> was accepted.  So it can be concluded that the game media, Snake and Ladder of Faith, is effective for increasing student self-efficacy.</p><p><strong></strong><strong><br /></strong></p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal bidai pada mata pelajaran Kewirausahaan dan menguji kevalidan dan keefektifan dalam menggunakan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk membuat siswa berminat berwirausaha bidai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development dengan dibuat penyederhanaan pada langkah ke enam sebagai model final yang pelaksanaannya dilaksanakan dalam tahap studi pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Tahap studi pendahuluan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi wawancara terbuka dari pernyataan guru. Tahap pengembangan model pembelajaran kewirausahaan meliputi desain produk yang divalidasi oleh para ahli, selanjutnya diimplementasikan ke dalam perangkat pembelajaran yang akan divalidasi oleh praktisi sebagai pengguna model sebelum diterapkan di dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan model pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal bidai dikembangkan menghasilkan model konseptual, model hipotetik, dan model akhir. Model pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat bidai dan berwirausaha, memiliki sikap positif terhadap warisan budaya, dan menghasilkan produk bernilai komersil.. Hasil akhir penelitian pada model pembelajaran kewirausahaan ini yaitu hasil akhir model pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal bidai dikategorikan valid dan efektif. This research aims to make the development of learning model based on local potential of bidai on Entrepreneurship subjects and to test the validity and effectiveness in using a developed learning to make students interested in entrepreneurial bidai. Research and development were used as the method in this study with a simplification made in the sixth step as a final model, which the implementation was carried out in the preliminary study stage and development stage. The preliminary study stage in this study used open interview observations of teacher statements. The development phase of the entrepreneurship-learning model includes product design, which was validated by experts, and then implemented into learning tools that would be validated by practitioners as model users before being applied in the classroom. The results of this study indicate that the developed entrepreneurship-learning model based on the local potential of bidai generates conceptual models, hypothetical models, and final models. The developed entrepreneurship-learning model based on the local potential is said as a valid and effective learning model in improving the knowledge and skills of bidai and entrepreneurship, possessing a positive attitude toward cultural heritage, and producing commercial value products. The result of this study on the entrepreneurship-learning model is that the developed entrepreneurship-learning model based on the local potential of bidai t is said as a valid and effective learning model.

<p><em>This study aims to find out how to design a teaching materials based on local wisdom in jigsaw learning model for description writing skills. The research method used are“The Research and Development Method of Borg &amp; Gall”. The teaching materials develop six learning meetings based on the analysis of elementary school studentsneed in grade IV in Indramayu. The validation of teaching material product design was carried out by four expert teams as validators which produced a score of 86.45% with very good assessment criteria. The readability of the book test results by students obtained a score of 89. The results of the product trials obtained very good criteria, the practicality response of teachers 91.67% and the practicality response of students 86.57%. The conclusion is, the teaching materials based on local wisdom in jigsaw learning model for description writing skills are valid and practical to use.</em></p>

This study was a research and development, with the aim of producing the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom. There were three steps in this research and development. The first was a preliminary study. It was the literature studies and field studies. The second was the development study starting from analyzing the development of learning materials, the design of the initial product (prototype), and the development of Indonesian learning materials based on local wisdom. The third was an evaluation. It was conducted to test the effectiveness and feasibility of the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom. The data of test results show that students’ average score reaches 82.31 from 30 students who were tested. The highest score is 87.70, and the lowest score is 73.60. Of the 30 students who worked on the student worksheet, there are 25 students (83.33%) who have a very high score category, and five students (16.67%) are in the high score category. Based on the learning outcomes regarding the mastery standard of the class namely 75%, the data show that students' work has been completed because there are 90% of 30 students who have reached the mastery standard of the class. Therefore, the use of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom is feasible and suitable to be applied in accordance with the level of capabilities and characteristics of the first-grade students in SMA Negeri 3 Palopo.

Abstract. One of the problems in learning Arabic until now is that there is no hope that all students from Islamic Universities who use Arabic are studied in any faculty that can make a grouping of knowledge and religion. That is because the competency standards that have occurred so far lack focus on Arabic material for special purposes, so students must pass Arabic courses, but still find it difficult to use Arabic as a means of conducting Islamic studies and communication according to their respective majors. This paper tries to describe the curriculum design and learning models in Arabic subjects and improve the learning methods of scaffolding models for the help of effectiveness in the Medical Education Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Jakarta. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with case studies on learning Arabic in the Medical Study Program of FIK UIN Jakarta. Data collection techniques carried out by participatory observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. This research was conducted by (1) analyzing the needs of early stage students, (2) setting learning objectives and selecting learning materials based on needs analysis by lecturers and MEU by making modules (3) applying scaffolding learning models in the framework of learning Arabic. The results showed; (1) The needs of PSPD FIK UIN Jakarta students in learning Arabic, in addition to general objectives that can be understood by the Qur'an and Hadith which are the main sources of teaching and Islamic law, also for more specific purposes to be able to communicate in Arabic while going Hajj also when invited as a medical team of Hajj officers. In addition, the Arabic learning objectives supported by other competency modules studied at PSPD, which are supported by the Muslim Doctors module, (2) The activity of the Arabic language module using scaffolding learning models has been running 90% according to the plan. In the Arabic module the pretest value of the posttest is 56.22%. According to students, Arabic learning materials can contribute in increasing the professionalism of doctors.Keywords: Assisted Learning, Arabic Learning, Needs Analysis, Scaffolding Abstrak. Salah satu problem dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab hingga saat ini yaitu belum tercapainya harapan agar semua mahasiswa khususnya dari Universitas Islam bahwa dengan bekal bahasa Arab yang dipelajari di fakultas apapun dapat melakukan integrasi ilmu dan agama. Hal itu disebabkan karena standar kompetensi yang diajarkan selama ini kurang fokus pada materi bahasa Arab untuk tujuan khusus, sehingga meskipun mahasiswa telah lulus mata kuliah bahasa Arab, tetapi masih mengalami kesulitan menggunakan bahasa Arab itu sebagai alat melakukan kajian keislaman maupun komunikasi sesuai jurusan masing-masing. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain kurikulum dan model pembelajaran pada mata kuliah bahasa Arab dan sejauhmana efektifitas metode assisted learning model scaffolding pada program studi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Ilmu Kedokteran UIN Jakarta.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter FIK UIN Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi partisipatif, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisa data dilakukan dengan data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing.  Riset ini dilakukan dengan (1) analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa tingkat awal, (2) penetapan tujuan pembelajaran dan pemilihan materi pembelajaran berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan oleh dosen dan MEU dengan membuat modul (3) penerapan model pembelajaran scaffolding dalam rangka efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ;  (1) Kebutuhan mahasiswa PSPD FIK UIN Jakarta dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, selain untuk tujuan umum yakni dapat memahami AlQur’an dan Hadist yang keduanya merupakan sumber pokok ajaran dan hukum Islam, juga untuk tujuan yang lebih khusus lagi yakni agar dapat berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Arab saat pergi haji maupun saat bertugas sebagai tim medis petugas haji. Selain itu, tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab bertujuan sebagai pendukung kompetensi modul lain yang dipelajari di PSPD, yakni supaya terintegrasi dengan modul Dokter Muslim, (2) Kegiatan modul bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scaffolding telah berjalan 90% sesuai dengan rencana. Pada modul bahasa Arab didapatkan peningkatan nilai pretest terhadap posttest sebesar 56.22%. Menurut mahasiswa, materi pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat berkonstribusi dalam peningkatan profesionalisme dokter.

ABSTRACTIn planning a lessons, teachers have the authority to develop learning strategies, one of the way is by developing lesson plans. The result of observations and interviews done in SDIT Gilmani Surabaya, shows the information stating that teachers one still using the BSNP minimum standard of lesson plan without any developments. Meanwhile, the teachers in the school are still facing difficulties in combining the knowledge and character building in the students daily lives. Therefore, this research aims to develop character based lesson plan. The lesson plans are expected to increase this students learning achievement especially on the material of natural resources of grade four elementary school. This research applies Kemp’s model. Of research and development, the developed lesson plans, consist of Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Students Worksheet, and Achievement test. The purpose of this research and development is to measure the validity of the developed lesson plan and the effectivity of of Social Studies lesson plan on natural resources material based on character building as well. The results data analysis of social sciences education materials with contextual and character approach revealed to: (1) Learning materials is got valid acknowledgment from experts, (2) Learning materials effective in improving student learning outcomes (cognitive, affective and psychomotor). Based on the result of this research, Researcher concluded that the quality of learning using developmental Social Studies on natural resources with based on character building is valid and effective. Keywords: Lesson plan, Character building based, Learning achievement. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, guru punya kewenangan untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, salah satu caranya dengan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di SDIT Gilmani Surabaya, diperoleh informasi bahwa guru masih menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran dengan standar minimal BSNP tanpa pengembangan. Sementara itu, di sekolah tersebut guru masih sulit memadukan pengetahuan dan pendidikan karakter dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Oleh Karena itu, dikembangkan suatu perangkat pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar, khususnya pada materi sumber daya alam pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan Kemp. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri atas Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), dan Penilaian Hasil Belajar (PHB). Tujuan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran IPS materi sumber daya alam berbasis karakter dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis data pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran terungkap bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid oleh ahli, (2) perangkat pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas perangkat pembelajaran IPS materi sumber daya alam berbasis karakter yang dikembangkan adalah valid dan efektif. Kata Kunci: Penelitian pengembangan, berbasis karakter, Learning achievement.

Abstract: The objectives of this study are (1) to develope a model of learning based on controversy  issues that are appropriate for strengthening the citizenship character of student. (2) to prove the effectiveness of the learning model is based on controversy issues developed for strengthening the citizenship character of student. This research used Research and Development method, the place at Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri with research subjects are Biology, Management, Nursing, and Information System students who are taking the course of PKN. The results of the study in the preliminary study phase identified seven elements of citizenship competence that should be developed in a multicultural democratic society which are politeness, empathy, leadership, perspectives, community relations, role in society, and attitudes toward the society of multiculture. The development phase of the model succeeded in finding the hypothetical model, and validation of the model proved that learning model based on controversy issues is effective. The statistical test result, t = 3.253, significance (P)= 0.003. Keywords: issues, controversial, civic disposition PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERLATAR ISU KONTROVERSIAL SEBAGAI PENGUATAN WATAK KEWARGA NEGARAAN MAHASISWA Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengembangkan model pembelajaran berlatar isu-isu kontroversial yang layak untuk penguatan watak kewarga negaraan mahasiswa, dan (2) membuktikan efektivitas model pembelajaran berlatar isu-isu kontroversial yang dikembangkan untuk penguatan watak kewarga negaraan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development, dengan lokasi penelitian di Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri. Subjek penelitian mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi, Manajemen, Keperawatan, dan Sistem Informasi yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah PKN. Hasil penelitian pada tahap studi pendahuluan berhasil mengidentifikasi tujuh unsur kompetensi watak kewarga negaraan yang harus dikembangkan dalam masyarakat demokratis yang multikultur, yaitu kesopanan, empati, kepemimpinan, perspektif, hubungan masyarakat, peran dalam masyarakat, dan sikap terhadap masyarakat mutikultur. Tahap pengembangan model berhasil menemukan model hipotetik dilakukan lewat uji lapangan dengan teknik quai eksperimental. Data diperoleh lewat tes dan dianalisis dengan teknik uji beda mean (t-tes).  Hasil uji model dapat membuktikan efektivitas model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, yaitu dengan nilai t- hitung = 3,253 dengan signifikansi (P) = 0,003. Kata Kunci: isu-isu, kontroversial, watak kewarga negaraan

Globalization has made the boundaries between countries and territories are blurred, this is due to the increasing of the population transfers between regions of the state. This condition makes the positive mean taken as easy to find cooperation network and job opportunity, but on the other hand also become a threat to the integrity of a country. The threat generally comes from the many ideologies and cultures that enter into a country, thus undermining the ideology of the country of origin. The main objective of the research is to develop a model of religious nationalist characteristic of schools based on boarding schools, like the pondok pesantren where the model can be accepted as an educational medium to reduce radicalism in Indonesia that usually under the guise of religion. The research uses research and development method which is preceded by observation,and interviews with students, cottage and school managers, and stakeholders of pondok pesantren in pesantren based school in Kendal Regency to know the condition of social life and there policy, and then create database. The main outcome of this study is the guidebook on the model of religious nationalist characterization, which is expected to be a new innovation in character building strategies in pesantren-based schools that are expected to answer the challenge of danger of radicalism under the guise of religion. It also produced scientific articles published in international and national journals as an effort to socialize the model.

Abstract: The objectives of this study are to describe the existing civic education learning, develop the model of civic education learning, and measure the effectiveness of the model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom. This research and development study was carried out in three stages, i.e., preliminary study, development, and model effectiveness test. The data in this study were collected through interview and observation. The results of the research are, first, there are strength, weaknesses, chances, and obstacles in civic education learning. Second, the development of the model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom is presented in the form of the syntax of learning model through the practice of cooperative learning of Problem Based Learning and Value Clarification. Third, the model of civic education learning can be categorized as “effective” based on the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom is able to improve the score of character and nation identity by 80% and the mastery learning at least 75%. Data diperoleh melalui penelitian pengembangan, dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan uji efektivitas model. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut, pertama, dalam pembelajaran PKn terdapat kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman. Kedua, pengembangan model pembelajaran PKn berbasis kearifan lokal dikemas dalam sintak model pembelajaran, melalui praktik pembelajaran kooperatif Problem Based Learning dan Value Clarification. Ketiga, model pembelajaran PKn tergolong efektif berdasarkan kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Model pembelajaran PKn berbasis kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan skor karakter dan jati diri bangsa sebesar 80% serta ketuntasan belajar sekurang-kurangnya 75%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model bahan ajar muatan lokal (mulok) berbasis cerita rakyat untuk pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model Borg dan Gall. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi studi pendahuluan, penyusunan draft, penilaian pakar dan pengguna, dan uji lapangan. Penilaian dari pakar dan pengguna menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mulok berbasis cerita rakyat memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Penilaian kelayakan difokuskan pada empat komponen, yaitu isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikan, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 78,91%. Efektivitas didasarkan pada nilai hasil uji coba lapangan dengan mengacu pada kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) mata pelajaran mulok, yakni 65. Nilai hasil uji coba lapangan mencapai rata-rata 71,74 dengan ketuntasan sekolah secara klasikal. Capaian nilai rata-rata siswa yang lebih tinggi dari nilai KKM menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikem­ bangkan efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mulok.Kata kunci: efektivitas, bahan ajar mulok, cerita rakyat, pendidikan karakter A MODEL OF LOCAL CONTENT LEARNING MATERIALS BASED ON FOLKLORES FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aimed to design a model of local content learning materials based on folklores for character education. This was a research and development study using Borg and Gall’s model. The steps were a preliminary study, draft designing, expert and user assessments, and a field tryout. The results of expert and user assessments showed that the developed materials satisfied the appropriateness criteria. The appropriateness assessments were focused on four components, namely content, language, presentation, and graphics, of which the average was 78.91%. The effectiveness was based on the mean score from the field tryout by referring to the minimum mastery criterion (MMC) for a local content subject, namely 65. The result of the field tryout was indicated by a mean score of 71.74 for the school mastery as a whole. The students’ average achievement which was higher than the MMC indicated that the learning materials were effective so that they were appropriate for use in the local content learning process.Keywords: effectiveness, local content learning materials, folklores, character education
