The objective of this experimental research is to find out the effect of language game technique and learning motivation towards the result of Arabic learning. The research was conducted at MIN Hadiluwih Sumberlawang Sragen involving 32 samples which were selected using simple random sampling. Twentyfive person of the sample were selected from the upper group and the rest 25% werefrom the lower group with the total of32 students. The design used in this research was a treatment by level design 2 X 2 two wayanova. The findings of this research showed: (1) the result of Arabic learning of the group using word bingo technique is higher than the group of the students using puzzle game technique, (2) there is an interaction effect between game technique and learning motivation, (3) high motivated group of students using word bingo game technique result higher than the groupof students using puzzle game technique, (4) low motivated group of students using word bingo and puzzle game technique do not show significant difference in the result ofArabic learning. Based on t~efindings, it can be recommended that teachers of Arabic language to apply word bingo and puzzle game technique as a variation in teaching technique by considering the students learning motivation in selecting the teaching technique. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik permainan dan motivasi belajar terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arabbahasa Arab. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIN Hadiluwih Sumberlawang Sragen dengan 32 sampel yang dipilih dengan sampling acak sederhana. Sampel diambil 25% dari kelompok motivasi belajar tinggi dan 25% dari kelompok motivasi belajar rendah,jadi sampel32 siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah by level design 2 x 2 ANOVA duajalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arabbahasa Arab kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan teknik bingo kata lebih tinggi daripada kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan teknik permainan susun kata (puzzle). (2) Adanya interaksi antara teknik permainan dan motivasi belajar. (3) kelompok siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi yang belajar dengan teknik permainan bingo kata lebih tinggi daripada penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arabkelompok siswa yang belajar dengan teknik permainan susun kata (puzzle).(4) penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arabbahasa Arab kelompok siswa dengan motivasi rendah yang belajar dengan teknik permainan bingo kata dan susun kata (puzzle) tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan kepada guru bahasa Arab untuk menggunakan teknik permainan bingo kata dan susun kata (puzzle) sebagai variasi teknik pengajaran dan tetap harus mempertimbangkan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dalam memilih suatu teknik pengajaran.

This Experimental Research was conducted to find out whether reinforcement can improve the students’ speaking ability or not. The population of the research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 7 Bengkulu. The simple random sampling of the research was taken X MIPA 1 as the Experimental Group. The collection data used pre-test and post-test to see the changes of the students’ speaking score. T-test used to see the significant difference between both tests. The treatment is given to the students a set of praises as feedback in every students oral response. After doing 6 times of treatment on Experimental Group, the result indicates that reinforcement affected students speaking ability significantly. It was found that -Tcount was -18,351and  -Ttable was -2,060. It means that -Ttable score was greater than -Tcount. It could be concluded that the experiment was successful because of reinforcement can improve the students’ speaking ability.

This study was aimed at investigating the effects of Podcast with Peer Assisted Learning in the EFL listening classroom. In conducting this research, pre-experimental design was used. The sample of this study was selected by using simple random sampling involving 27 students as the sample. The data collected were analyzed by using t-test (paired sample t-test) and percentage for two questionnaires, students’ motivation and perception. The result showed that (a) there was a significant difference in listening comprehension achievement before and after being taught by using Podcast with Peer Assisted Learning where t-obtained was 8.921 and the significance value was 0.000 which less than 0.05. On the basis of this result, it can be inferred that listening comprehension achievement of students before and after teaching by using podcast with peer-assisted learning was substantially improved. (b) The percentage score for learning motivation from the students was (55.6%) in high level, moderate 29.6% and low level was (5%). This score was considered students have high level of learning motivation. (c) most of the students gave positive perceptions on the use podcast with peer assisted learning in listening classroom. It can be concluded that teaching using podcast with peer assisted learning can develop the students listening comprehension achievement.

Latar Belakang: Dismenore merupakan salah satu masalah menstruasi yang sering dialami oleh remaja putri. Namun hal tersebut sering diabaikan bahkan dianggap biasa, padahal dismenore bisa menjadi hal yang serius apabila tidak segera ditangani. Pendidikan kesehatan merupakan upaya yang dilakukan untuk merubah perilaku dan peduli terhadap masalah kesehatan individu dan kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan upaya yang dilakukan remaja saat nyeri haid sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore.Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimental research dengan jenis praeskperimen one group pre-test post-tes design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah probability dengan jenis simple random sampling. Total responden adalah 30 orang. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. Analisa data dilakukan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon test.Hasil Dan Pembahasan: Hasil pre-test dan post-test pada kelompok intervensi yaitu sebanyak 23 (77%) siswi dalam kategori kurang baik dan 7 (23%) siswi memiliki upaya baik, setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore 30 (100%) siswi memiliki upaya baik. Uji Wilcoxon test didapatkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000, dimana jika dibandingkan dengan nilai α (0,05) maka akan didapatkan 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore berpengaruh terhadap upaya remaja untuk menurunkan nyeri menstruasi (dismenore primer).Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore sangat penting diberikan pada remaja yang baru mengalami menstruasi karena bisa menjadi panduan bagi remaja untuk mengatasi dismenore oleh karena itu petugas kesehatan dan guru harus sering melakukan penyuluhan dan konseling tentang masalah menstruasi serta cara untuk mengatasi dismenore dengan tepat

Abstract: Nowadays, phenomeneon of juvenile delinquency has been spreading widely. Particularly to students, they usually perform juvenile delinquency that would harm themselves and finally trouble their minds due to consquences they are going to face. This study aimed to investigate the comparison of anxiety levels among students who performed juvenile delinquency. This was an analytical observational study with a cross sectional design. Subjects were 86 students of Swadharma Mopugad High School and Swadharma Werdhi Agung Senior High School obtained by using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by using T independent test with α=0.005. The T independent test showed a t value of 0.457 and a p value of 0.649 (> 0.005) which indicated that there was no significant difference of anxiety levels among students who performed juvenile delinquency in both high schools. Conclusion: There was no significant difference between anxiety levels of students who performed juvenile delinquency in Swadharma Mopugad Senior High School and Swadharma Werdhi Agung Senior High School.Keywords: juvenile delinquency, anxietyAbstrak: Fenomena kenakalan remaja makin meluas dewasa ini. Hal ini tentunya dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada siswa yang melakukannya mengingat sanksi yang bisa diperoleh akibat perbuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kecemasan siswa yang melakukan perilaku kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling. Subyek penelitian ialah siswa kelas XI SMA Swadharma Mopugad dan siswa kelas XI SMA Swadharma Werdhi Agung dengan jumlah total 86 siswa. Data dianalisis dengan uji T Independent (α = 0,005). Hasil uji T Independent mendapatkan nilai t sebesar 0,457, p = 0,649, yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pada siswa yang melakukan kenakalan remaja di SMA Swadharma Mopugad dan SMA Swadharma Werdhi Agung. Simpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan yang bermakna pada siswa yang melakukan kenakalan remaja di SMA Swadharma Mopugad dan SMA Swadharma Werdhi Agung.Kata kunci: kenakalan remaja, kecemasan

The present study seeks to investigate the level of adjustment and social support of college going adolescents. Sample included 120 (simple random sampling method) randomly selected adolescents i.e. 60 boys and 60 girls college students from various pre-university colleges of Kalaburgi district of Hyderabad Karnataka. For obtaining the data on social support and adjustment, social support scale developed by Vaxu (1986), and adjustment inventory was developed by Sinha and Singh (1984) were used respectively. The statistical technique t-test and spearman rho coefficient of correlation was employed for comparing the two groups. The findings of the study showed that there exists significant difference in adjustment and social support between boys and girls. Whereas there exists no significant difference in respect to domicile between adjustment and social support. It also concludes that there exists positive and significant difference between adjustment and social support.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan pengaruh multimedia interaktif berbasis flash (MIBF) dan model 5E terhadap  keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian eksperimen adalah pretest-postest non-equivalent control group dan setting pelaksanaan penelitian dengan rancangan faktorial  2 x 2. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VIII SMPN6 Mataram, sebanyak 196 siswa yang tersebar di 7 kelas. Sampel  dipilih dengan simple random sampling dan diperoleh 97 siswa yang tersebar di 4 kelas yakni kelas VIIIB menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E tanpa menggunakan MIBF, kelas VIIIC menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E dan menggunakan MIBF, Kelas VIIID menerapkan model pembelajaran 2EK tanpa MIBF, dan kelas VIIIE menerapkan model 2EK dan menggunakan MIBF. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh penggunaan MIBF (F = 100,96, p = 0,00) dan model 5E (F = 65,46, p = 0,00) pada sikap terhadap sains. Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara MIBF dan model 5E (F = 38,64, p = 0,00) terhadap keterampilan perpikir kritis dan terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara MIBF dan model  5E(F = 13,05, p = 0,00) pada sikap terhadap sains siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa MIBF dan model 5E efektif meningkatkan sikap tergadap sains.Kata kunci: MIBF, model 5E, sikap terhadap sains. Abstract: The aim of this study was to know effectiveness and effect of flash based interactive multimedia (FBIM) and 5E model toward students attitudes toward science. Experimental research desain was pretest-postest non-equivalent  control group and faktorial  2 x 2. The population consist of  196 students spread in 7 classes. These classes are grade VIII in SMPN6 Mataram. Sample  was choosen by using simple random sampling, Sample of this reseacrh consist of  97 students spread in 4 classes are grade VIIIB applied 5E model without FBIM grade VIIIC applied 5E model and FBIM, grade VIIID applied  2EK model without FBIM, and grade VIIIE applied 2EK model and  FBIM Result of experiment reseach shows that there are significant effect of FBIM (F = 100.96, p = 0.00) and 5E model (F = 65.46, p = 0.00) on attitudes toward science. There are significant effect of interaction between FBIM and 5E model (F = 13.05, p = 0.00) on attitudes toward science. It can be concluded that FBIM and 5E model are effective to enhance students attitudes toward science.Keywords: Flash based interactive multimedia, 5E model, attitudes  toward science.

This thesis was concerned with the inquiry on the correlations among learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability of the seventh grade students at State Junior High School of Lubai Ulu Sub-District of Muaraenim Regency. The problem of the study was to investigate the correlation among students’ learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability. The total number of the population were 474 students. The sample for this study was 83 students taken through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by adopting a questionnaire for learning motivation, self-confidence, and test for writing ability. Data were analyzed by using r-Product Moment and Multiple Regression. Finding showed that: (1) there was significant correlation between learning motivation and writing ability; (2) there was not any significant correlation between self-confidence and writing ability; (3) there was not any significant correlation between learning motivation and self-confidence; (4) there were significant correlations among learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability of seventh grade-students at state Junior High School of Lubai Ulu Muaraenim.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify whether there are differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study is a comparative study with a sample of 796 students (452 males, 344 females). The sample selection is taken using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale of self-regulation of emotion. Data analysis used to identify differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students is independent samples test. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant difference between the self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study recommends counseling service to improve self-regulation of emotion skills.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perbedaan self-regulation of emotion antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif dengan sampel 796 siswa (452 laki-laki, 344 perempuan). Pemilihan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-regulation of emotion. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan adalah independent samples test. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Studi ini merekomendasikan layanan konseling untuk meningkatkan self-regulation of emotion siswa.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) peningkatan kemampuan menulis jurnal belajar, (2) perbedaan kemampuan metakognisi siswa yang menulis jurnal belajar dengan siswa yang tidak menulis jurnal belajar, dan (3) hubungan kemampuan menulis jurnal belajar dengan kemampuan metakognisi siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X dan kelas XI di SMAN 1 Pringgarata tahun ajaran 2014/2015 (285 orang). Sampel penelitian ditentukan melalui teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 124 orang tersebar di kelas X3 dan XI IPA1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen, serta di kelas X2 danXI IPA2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa jurnal belajar, rubrik penilaian jurnal belajar, dan inventori kesadaran metakognisi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS for windows 16. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan siswa dalam menulis jurnal belajar mengalami peningkatan (N-gain= 0,2), (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan metakognisi antara siswa yang menulis jurnal belajar dengan siswa yang tidak menulis jurnal belajar (p < 0,05), dan (3) kemampuan menulis jurnal belajar berkorelasi positif dengan kemampuan metakognisi (p < 0,05).Kata kunci: jurnal belajar, kemampuan metakognisiAbstract. The aim of this research were  to analyze: (1) the improvement of students ability in journal writing skills, (2) the difference of metacognitive skills between students who wrote learning journal and those who did not write learning journal, (3) the correlation of journal writing skills and the metacognitive skills of students. The research design was used nonequivalent control group design. The Population of this research were students in X and XI class of SMAN 1 Pringgarata 2014/2015 (285 peoples). Sample of this research was determined by simple random sampling technique. The amount of sample were  124 peoples, that distributed in X3 and XI IPA1 classas experimental group,  X2 and XI IPA2  class as control group. The research instruments were learning journal, rubric of learning journal and metacognitive awareness inventory (MAI). Data in this research was analyzed by using SPSS for windows 16. The result of this research shows: (1) the students skills in writing journal was increase (N-gain = 0,2), (2) there were significant difference between students who wrote journal and those who did not write journal (p < 0,05), and (3) journal writing skills was positively correlated with the students metacognitive skill   (p < 0,05).Keywords: learning journal, metacognitive skills
