Torrential rains have been increasing in frequency. There have been instances in which residents were caught up on their way to evacuation shelters. It is important to check on hazards caused by conditions, on the adequacy of evacuation facilities, and on water levels and weather advisories. When taking appropriate action in torrential rains, it is necessary to assess weather and water information based on the preliminary survey of evacuation. To improve the quality of decision making, a science-based procedure should utilized by public agencies to judge the situation. We propose a procedure manual and web-based system for take appropriate action as disaster response.

Aiming to augment the quality of decision making in vessel dismantling, this paper presents an innovative decision support system that takes into account the diversity of the associated constraints to aid stakeholders handle issues such as the appropriateness of a disposal methodology or the level of safety in a dismantling yard. Being seamlessly integrated with an advanced simulation environment, the system also facilitates the collaborative design of dismantling processes.

ABSTRACTThis decision support system is a web-based system, which can help decision makers to use data from a variety of models to problems tersetruktur. In this thesis, has constructed a decision support system poorhouse reconstruction using AHP method (Analytical Heirarchy Process) which aims to help provide alternative solutions / proposals in decision-making, in this case that would be the Head of Social Service Klaten. Decision support systems are built based on 14 criteria poor from BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) and giving preference value weighted interest where the total value of the weight should not be more or less than 100 (100%).Keywords: SPK, Reconstruction, AHP.

Decision support system for selecting color guard with VIKOR and Borda methods. It has been made as a tool to select color guard at the Sei Rampah High School. The criteria used in the decision support system for color guard selection are: height, weight, agility, stamina, and body language. Color guard selection activities are a routine activity every year, so GINADA marching band coach Sei Rampah hereby selects to select permanent members in the marching band. Decision Support System in an organization can be seen as important in supporting the smooth running of activities and achieving an organizational goal. SPK can come in various forms, ranging from simple forms of data processing to complex application forms, and can also be used to accelerate and improve the quality of the decision-making process in the organization.

Culinary efforts, especially ethnic and traditional snacks attract many people to Indonesia. Maintaining the quality of snacks for consumers requires a good packaging technique. Food packaging consists of a wide variety of packaging options that match the characteristics of each snack; this is no easy task. Decision support systems can help to facilitate decisions made regarding selection of the right packaging. This paper focuses on identifying snacks, types of packaging and active packaging parameters to build a decision support system in order to determine appropriate packaging. Types of packaging are determined using fuzzy Sugeno 4 parameters: fat, water activity, shelf-life and price. Active packaging of the snacks is done using the if-else rule with parameterised types of packaging, preservatives, oxygen barriers and water vapour barriers. The end result of this research is a web-based decision support system, which recommends types of packaging and active packaging for snacks.

In everyday life, humans often encounter problems in decision making, where problems that arise can be large or small, which are very influential in the results of decisions. Good database design generates effective operational databases through which we can track customers, sales, inventories, and other variables of interest. The main reason for generating, storing, and managing good data is to enhance the decision-making process. The tool used during this process is the decision support system (DSS). The information requirements of the DSS have become so complex, that it is difficult for it to extract all the necessary information from the data structures typically found in operational databases. For this reason, a new storage facility called a data warehouse has been developed. Data in the data warehouse have characteristics that are quite distinct from those in the operational database (Rob & Coronel, 2002).
