Mathematical model of radiation heating of microelectronic device

Problem formulating. The vital processes of biological tissues are closely related to their electrical properties. An important task is to create a physical and mathematical model that will link the electrical properties of tissues to their physiological state. Goal. Construction of a model of biological tissue electrical properties based on the equations of ion electrodiffusion. Result. The paper presents the model of biological tissue electrical properties based on the ion electrodiffusion equations, and compares the simulation results with the experimental results presented in the literature. Practical meaning. The presented model can be used to describe processes occurring in tissue at the level of concentration and conductivity of ions in individual cells and cell membranes. In particular, the process of tissue degradation during laser radiation heating can be described.

Based on the analysis of the absorption spectrum of dried object and the radiation spectrum of heater, the concept of Matching Absorption Degree in Whole Wavelength Region (MADWWR) and its design optimization method are put forward. The corresponding mathematical model is established. Taking soft-base coat drying for example, design optimization of MADWWR is carried out in different temperatures. The optimal values of MADWWR and surface temperature of heater are obtained. The effectiveness of the results is verified by the engineering example. The calculation method and the corresponding calculation program of optimal matching degree are universal, which can provide useful guidelines for the energy-saving design of infrared heating and drying.

Conductor, resistor, and dielectric patterns of microelectronic device are usually defined by exposure of a photosensitive material through a mask onto the device with subsequent development of the photoresist and chemical removal of the undesired materials. Standard optical techniques are limited and electron lithography provides several important advantages, including the ability to expose features as small as 1,000 Å, and direct exposure on the wafer with no intermediate mask. This presentation is intended to report how electron lithography was used to define the permalloy patterns which are used to manipulate domains in magnetic bubble memory devices.The electron optical system used in our experiment as shown in Fig. 1 consisted of a high resolution scanning electron microscope, a computer, and a high precision motorized specimen stage. The computer is appropriately interfaced to address the electron beam, control beam exposure, and move the specimen stage.
