ResumenPresentamos en esta investigación el análisis de un tema de actualidad a través de la realidad representada en la ficción y la realidad mediatizada en la información. Debido a la naturaleza del objeto de estudio – las telecomedias españolas –realizamos un estudio de caso de tal modo que podamos comparar el tratamiento que el tema propuesto en los medios de comunicación, concretamente en la prensa, frente a la manera de exponerlo en las tramas de los capítulos de las series. Para analizarlo hemos considerado conveniente realizar un análisis narrativo audiovisual cualitativo a un tema estrechamente relacionado con la actualidad del periodo que se plantea en este estudio y que está presente en las series analizadas: 7vidas y aquí no hay quien viva. El tema elegido es la implantación de la Ley Antitabaco 28/2005 de 26 de diciembre y que fue recogida por ambas telecomedias en el primer capítulo que emitieron en el mismo mes de la promulgación de la ley. Abstract We present in this study the analysis of a current issue through the reality represented in fiction and reality mediated in information. Due to the nature of the object of study - the Spanish sitcom- conducted a case study so that we can compare the treatment that the proposed topic in the media, particularly in the press, in front of the way to put in chapters of the series. To analyze this we considered advisable to conduct a qualitative visual narrative analysis a subject closely related to current period arising in this study and is present in the series analyzed: 7 vidas and Aquí no hay quien viva. Controversy is common on environmental issues, with carbon taxation in Canada a current example. This paper uses Canada as a case study for analysis based around balanced presentation, a technique developed some time ago, yet largely forgotten. Using the method, analysis is shifted away from the point of controversy to a broader quantitative question, with comparative data employed from official government sources. Simple quantitative analysis is applied to evaluate emission trends of individual Canadian provinces, with quantitative metrics to identify and confirm the application of relevant emission reduction policies by individual jurisdictions. From 2005 through 2019, three provinces show consistent downward emission trends, two show consistent upward trends, and the remaining five have no trends, showing relatively “flat” profiles. The results clarify, in terms of diverse emission reduction policies, where successes have occurred, and where deficiencies or ambiguities have existed. Neither carbon taxation nor related cap-and-trade show any association with long-term reductions in overall emissions. One policy does stand out as being associated with long-term reductions, namely grid decarbonization. The results suggest a possible need within Canada to rethink emission reduction policies. The method may be relevant as a model for other countries to consider as well.

Der vorliegende Beitrag behandelt den Themenkomplex Ressourcen-effizienz und digitale Transformation im verarbeitenden Gewerbe sowie die dabei entstehenden Wechselwirkungen. Neben dem aktuellen Stand der Technik werden die im Rahmen einer aktuellen Studie durchgeführte Fallbeispielanalyse und die entwickelte Methodik zur Ermittlung der Ressourceneffizienzpotenziale vorgestellt. Diese Potenziale und die eingesetzten digitalen Maßnahmen sind zentrale Bausteine des vorliegenden Beitrags.   This article deals with the topic complex of resource efficiency and digital transformation in the manufacturing sector as well as the resulting interactions. In addition to the current state of the art and perspectives, the case study analysis carried out as part of a current study, as well as the developed method for establishing the resource efficiency potentials will be presented. The resultant potential and the digital measures are central components of this article.

Lately, value stream mapping (VSM) is integrated with tools and techniques that belong to other areas of knowledge such as risk management (RM). It is well known tool in showing the value, value stream and the flow which represents three of lean manufacturing (LM) principles. This integration, gives more benefit in covering two of VSM issues such as considering the variability and uncertainty of production processes. In this paper, a model named variable value stream mapping (V-VSM) that integrates the two was showed, explained and tested. The model helps to generate the VSM in a dynamic way with the identification of current and potential risks. These risks might happen in the future bringing a strong impact on not reaching the main objectives in the defined time and cost. The model has been tested by conducting a case study in food sector. A current state map was built using both models, traditional VSM and VVSM. The results showed the effect of variability and uncertainty on the total cycle time (CT) and lead time (LT) values, where the traditional VSM failed to show it by being a static tool. Comparing the results of both models show the differences in presenting the real state of manufacturing environment..

A ampliação do campo das políticas públicas, a partir da década de 1980 no Brasil, tem provocado o surgimento de uma diversidade de práticas nas quais se dirigem novas demandas para o campo da psicologia.  Com o intuito de problematizar o efeito destas demandas na reconfiguração deste campo, tomamos a naturalização como eixo norteador. Desenvolvemos inicialmente nosso argumento partindo da análise da naturalização como um elemento que se fez presente desde a instauração da psicologia, considerando as crises que operam em seu desenvolvimento desde o momento que ela se impôs a tarefa de renovação e ultrapassagem de modos de compreensão naturalizantes.  Esta renovação é um fato histórico que se repete no desenvolvimento da psicologia mantendo-se como uma tarefa sempre incompleta. Assim, para formularmos aspectos relativos às especificidades dos efeitos da naturalização das demandas nas instituições nos dedicamos a um retorno às elaborações iniciais dos analistas institucionais que se realizaram no contexto das manifestações de maio de 1968. De posse destes elementos passamos à análise do contexto atual das políticas públicas, partindo de uma reflexão sobre a inteligibilidade neoliberal e o quanto ela vem transversalizando tanto a dimensão das demandas quanto das práticas da psicologia. Depois avançamos sobre algumas considerações do quanto o redimensionamento da relação da política com a clínica pode criar alternativas perante as modulações do capitalismo vigente.

In the world of business special attention is paid to entrepreneurs for their potential and large corporations for their impact on the market. Due to this, small businesses often fall short of resources and tools to help them grow. The aim of this dissertation is to introduce a framework for decision making to small businesses as a tool to help embed more structure into their organization. The framework was then applied to two distinct case studies to display its functionality and usefulness. The framework consists of several steps: 1) corporate plan and financial assessment 2) a current state analysis 3) a quantitative and mathematical feasibility study of the decision The framework in each case study resulted in an objective and qualified decision. It also suggests that, due to the unique structure and characteristics of each small business, the framework proposed would only be relevant and applicable on a general level and more work is required to refine the details in order to be able apply it universally to business entities with limited working capital.

A current issue of relevance for Mexico is the aging of the population, its demographic history has been strongly related directly to political and economic decisions. The ageing population faces significant income-generating challenges, which are essential to meeting its basic health needs, which are increasing considerably. For what is transcendental to characterize as precarious labour has permeated the elderly of the State of Hidalgo, on the basis of the integration of socio-demographic and economic indicators that allow the exploration of the conditions in which this segment of the population finds itself, which is growing every day and serves as an instrument for the generation of public policies.
