<p>Workforce Diversity Management is gradually being used and becoming acceptable as a significant organizational resource in esteems to whether the objective is to be an employer choice, to offer outstanding customer service, or to sustain a competitive advantage. It also has verified to have controlled to an opinion of being essential for organizational performance especially in the Food and Beverage Industry in Nigeria. This ultimate faith forces managers to hold and understand the theory of workforce Diversity, its benefits and challenges. As such, this study examined the effect impact of workforce diversity management towards organizational performance which focuses into the food and beverage industry within the larger manufacturing sector. The research also emphases on workforce diversity management which contains the employee communication(EC) as a mechanism in reducing conflicts and talent availability(TA) which are the utmost critical variables amongst the others. The study employed primary data mainly for revalidation of results and inferential information from secondary sources. Primary data was harnessed from the views of managers and employees of the foods and beverage industries through questionnaire. The study adopted cross sectional research design and considered 3 multinational corporations in the food and beverage sector in Nigeria based on random sampling technique. The sample size constituted the lower, middle and senior level staff of the multinational Corporations at their headquarters and plants to achieve the  objectives of this study based on the two hypotheses that were formulated. Both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were employed. The statistical tools used included cross tabulations, Mean, Regression and Correlation analysis with the aid of SPSS computer packages. The results showed that employee communication (EC) have significant effect on organizational effectiveness (OE) (at P=0.000). It was discovered that talent availability (TA), has significant relationship on employee retention (ER)(at P= 0.002), the study reflected that Workforce diversity represents both a challenge and an opportunity for business and corporate entity. Hence, no organization in this dispensation of Globalization can survive without workforce Diversity. The study recommends that; organization ought to accord due priority for optimum utilization of strength of workforce diversity and institute measures to enhance commitment among the employees for improvement of organizational performance. Organizations should make workforce diversity management a core business value because diverse work teams bring high value to organizations and respecting individual differences will benefit the workforce by creating a competitive edge and increasing work productivity.</p>

Hence, no organization in this dispensation of Globalization can survive without workforce Diversity.

This study seeks to investigate the impact of capital structure on the performance of organizational performance with particular reference to Nigerian Food and Beverage Companies. Secondary data was used for this study. It was adopted from the audited financial statements of the listed food and beverages companies in the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), for the period of the year 2014 – 2018. The method of analysis used was Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regressions. The results reveal that firm leverage, tangibility of assets and liquidity have an inverse relationship with the financial performance of the Nigerian food and beverage industry, while, growth and firm’s size have a positive relationship with the financial performance of Nigerian food and beverages industry.  The study, recommends that Nigerian Food and Beverage should, therefore, strike a balance between their choice of capital structure and the effect on its performance as it affects the shareholder's risks.

The study is attempted to examine and analyze the important influence of entrepreneurial orientation components - risk-taking, innovativeness, and proactiveness- on the organizational performance of Yemeni Small and Medium Enterprises within the food and beverage industry. The model of study is tested on 459 owners/Managers of SMEs by employing the analysis of Partial Least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), as well as Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA). After utilizing the cross-sectional approach, the results illustrated that the innovativeness and risk-taking have a significant and positive impact on organizational performance, but their effect was less than proactiveness. Moreover, the analysis of importance-performance pointed out that proactiveness more important than innovativeness and risk-taking in determining organizational performance. The model of study expounded 34% of the whole variance in SME's performance. Moreover, it provided the implications of practical and theoretical.

ObjectivesTo answer four questions: What are attitudes, knowledge and social norms around sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs)? What are current levels of trust in messages on SSBs? What is current support for, and perceived effectiveness of, the UK soft drinks industry levy (SDIL)? What is the association between attitudes, knowledge, social norms, trust, SSB consumption and sociodemographic factors; and support for, and perceived effectiveness of, the SDIL?DesignCross-sectional online survey.SettingUK.ParticipantsUK respondents to the 2017 International Food Policy Study aged 18–64 years who provided information on all variables of interest (n=3104).Outcome measuresSelf-reported perceived effectiveness of, and support for, the SDIL.ResultsMost participants supported the SDIL (70%), believed it would be effective (71%), had a positive attitude to SSBs (62%), had knowledge of the link between SSBs and obesity (90%), and trusted messages from health experts (61%), but not those from the food and beverage industry (73%). Nearly half (46%) had negative social norms about drinking SSBs. In adjusted models, older age, non-consumption of SSBs, social norms to not drinks SSBs, knowledge of the link between SSBs and obesity and trust in health expert messages were associated with greater support for the SDIL, whereas having dependent children and trusting messages from the food and beverage industry were associated with less support. In adjusted models, older age was associated with lower perceived effectiveness of the SDIL, whereas social norms to not drink SSBs, negative attitudes to SSBs and trusting messages from health experts and the food and beverage industry were associated with greater perceived effectiveness.ConclusionsThere was strong support for the SDIL and belief that it would be effective. Those with more ‘public health’ orientated norms and trust were generally more likely to support the SDIL or believe that it would be effective.

This study examined commercial policy’s trade facilitation effects on employability of multinational corporations in Nigeria considering whether trade facilitation(TF), has a significant effect on the multinational Corporations employability expressed in cost of operation (COP). The study adopted cross sectional research design and considered 5 multinational corporations in the food and beverage and conglomerate sub-sector in Nigeria based on random sampling technique by employing primary data. The sample size constituted the lower, middle and senior level staff of the multinational Corporations at their headquarters and plants to achieve the objectives of this study based on the hypothesis that was formulated. Both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were employed. The statistical tools used included cross tabulations, Mean, Regression and Correlation analysis with the aid of SPSS computer packages. The results showed that trade facilitation (TF) have significant effect on cost of operation (at P=0.000). In conclusion, the study reflected that each of the performance indicators under consideration related with commercial policy and employability implies the need for compliance by multinational corporations to be ensured as governmental follow up in areas of trade facilitation is pertinent to employment creation. The study recommends that; government is encouraged to continue to play her regulatory, facilitating and participatory roles to foster an enabling operating environment as it will contribute towards firm competitiveness in the domestic and global marketplace.

Customer satisfaction is the ultimate aim to food and beverage F&B industry as it ascertains that satisfied customers will stay loyal and reduce the amount of complaints towards their brand of choice. The main purpose of the research is to understand the influencing factors on customer satisfaction towards American brand in F&B industry in Malaysia. Convenience sampling method was used involving the respondents that consist of customers and shoppers within five mega malls in Kuala Lumpur to represent the total population of the study. The researcher used a multiple regression analysis to analyze 384 data from customers. The results indicate a positive and significant influence of all influencing factors (perceived quality, perceived value and Customer Expectation) on customer satisfaction. Customer expectation is seen to be the factor that was highly influential towards satisfaction, followed by perceived quality and perceived value. The implications of the study are discussed in the paper.
