In this paper, a new series of incomplete block designs with three replications has been proposed. These designs are partially variance balanced following a group divisible association scheme. The designs obtained here are with unequal block sizes and are suitable for experimentation in uneven land. Furthermore, these designs are resolvable, which enhances their application potential in regions where it may be difficult to accommodate complete replications at one place.

The purpose of this note is to point out some connexions between generalized Hadamard matrices (4, 5) and various tactical configurations such as group divisible designs (3), affine resolvable balanced incomplete block designs (1), and orthogonal arrays of strength two (2). Some constructions for these arrays are also indicated.A balanced incomplete block design (BIBD) with parameters v, b, r, k, λ is an arrangement of v symbols called treatments into b subsets called blocks of k < v distinct treatments such that each treatment occurs in r blocks and any pair of treatments occurs in λ blocks.

In this paper, a study of second order slope rotatable designs under intra-class correlation error structure using two suitably chosen dissimilar incomplete block designs like balanced incomplete block designs and symmetrical unequal block arrangements with two unequal block sizes are suggested. Further, we study the variance of the estimated slopes for different values of the intra-class correlation coefficient (ρ) and the distance from the centre (d) for v factors are suggested. Some illustrative examples are also suggested.

In this paper variance balanced incomplete block designs have been constructed in unequal block sizes for situations when suitable BIB designs do not exist for a given number of treatments.

New cyclic solutions of several group divisible incomplete block designs arc presented, A new group divisible desian is reported whose solution is also cyclic. We also present non-isomorphic solutions of several group divisible designs listed in the catalogue of Clatworthy (1973).
