Changes in training geographers in Ukraine in the context of the reform of higher education are analysed. In particular, on the basis of materials of admission to universities in 2016 geographical specialization in the first year (The Bachelor of Education), modern tendencies and problems of geographic education in higher educational institutions of Ukraine are identified. Possibilities to university entrance on the geographical specialties in 2017, taking into account recent changes in education, are characterized. Educational reform in Ukraine has strong effect on the training of the professional staff in geography in higher educational institutions. A new list of specialties, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2015, does not include geography. Therefore, the number of students that started studying at the geographical specializations had significantly decreased in 2016. The average grade point of admitted students also had decreased. The number of students is highly dependent on the number of State-financed places allocated to the Ministry of Education and Science. Altogether about 900 students entered the geographical specialties in 2016. Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv are the largest training centers of the students admitted to geographical specialty. In the coming years, the further reduce of the prestige of geographical education is possible. To overcome the negative trends it is necessary to update the geography education according to the world requirements. Key words: geography, Earth Sciences, secondary education, specialty, specialization, higher education institution.

Until few years ago, all educational process documentation in Serbian schools was kept exclusively through paper class book. In accordance with European standards and with the implicit role of new ICT and Information Systems and due to the perceived short comings, there was a need for a different work recording. In school year 2017/2018, the electronic grade book came to life in 60 educational institutions in Serbia as a pilot project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Today, its use is mandatory in all the schools in Serbia. This paper deals with the analysis of the advantages and dis advantages of an electronic grade book through the examination of attitudes and impressions, and the general satisfaction of its users. Emotional intelligence (EI) is being recognised to be a vital element in many educational institutions today. Tuning into one's feelings and understanding others help to build and strengthen relationships in classrooms. There are some Emotional Intelligence skills most often related to academic success such as assertion, drive, strength, commitment ethic, time management, and stress management. This paper looks at emotional intelligence of students in one of Bahrain's reputable national university. A comparison is made between students in Barhain and participants in China to look at cultural differences and the role of national culture in the levels of emotional intelligence among individuals. The results revealed no direct relationship between scores, grade point average, age and emotional intelligence competencies. Overall the scores were in moderation, reflecting moderate levels of emotional intelligence. However, there some subtle culture issues and variations between the culture in China and Bahrain, where some of the items in the EI instruments were found to be culture bound.

Community Development is a process of collective action taken by the members of a community to generate solutions for common problems.  The aspects of community well being namely Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural well being evolves from this type of collective action taken at multiple societal levels. (Weaver, 1971) defines community development as a process of “A public-group approach dedicated to achieving the goals of the total body politic.” Therefore, it is evident that a community can be developed through the effective participation of citizens. With the enactment of the Education System Act no 20 of 2003 (better known as the Sisdiknas Act), the State has determined that educational institutions should have a legal umbrella in the form of a legal entity, or better known as the Legal Entity Education. As a non-profit organization, the Foundation is the right legal entity that becomes a place for educational institutions, especially private schools. Therefore, of course, Notary has a very crucial role in making notary deed in the form of establishment and deed of change, such as example how in making the right basic budget and not multi interpresatasi for stake holders in the foundation. Therefore, the role of function and authority of the organ of the foundation must be clearly stated in the articles of association, so as not to cause a dispute in the future.KEYWORDS: Notaries, Foundation, Organ Foundation,

Ali Bin Abi Talib once said that children should be educated in accordance with the  development of the times. The Ali bin Abi Talib’s statement could be considered as his attention more to the development of human civilization. For that reason, there should be studies focused on the role of educational institutions in facing the challenges of the times. On this stand, the writer raises the existence of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) for being considered to have been able to survive amid the onslaught of civilization increasingly obscuring cultural identity. In addition, this study also aims to identify and discuss the role of pesantren in the modern era. This is a literature study using a descriptive and exploratory approach. It can be concluded that pesantren are non-formal Islamic educational institutions. Pesantren have permanent and distictive methods and learning models. The purpose of pesantren education is the same as Islamic education in general, instilling a sense of virtue, familiarizing themselves with courtesy, preparing for a holy, sincere and honest life entirely. Pesantren could be seen from three aspects: (a) pesantren that are seen from facilities and infrastructures, (b) pesantren that are seen from disciplines taught, and (c) pesantren that are seen from the fields of knowledge.

The application of constructive geometric modeling to pedagogical models of teaching graphic disciplines today is a promising direction for using computer technology in the educational process of educational institutions. The essence of the method of constructive geometric modeling is to represent any operation performed on geometric objects in the form of a transformation, as a result of which some constructive connection is established, and the transformation itself can be considered as a result of the action of an abstract cybernetic device. Constructive geometric modeling is a popular information tool for information processing in various applied areas, however, this tool cannot be appreciated without the presence of appropriate software systems and developed design techniques. Traditionally, constructive geometric modeling is used in the design of mechanical engineering, energy, aircraft and shipbuilding facilities, in architectural and design engineering. The need to study descriptive geometry at the university in recent years has something in common with the issues of mastering graphic packages of computer programs in the framework of the new discipline "Engineering and Computer Graphics". The well-known KOMPAS software product is considered the simplest and most attractive for training. It should be noted the important role of graphic packages in the teaching of geometric disciplines that require a figurative perception of the material by students. Against the background of a reduction in classroom hours, computer graphics packages are practically the only productive teaching methodology, successfully replacing traditional tools - chalk and blackboard.
