The article discusses the indicators of digitalization and quality of life, and their relationship. An overall assessment of the digitalization in Russia is given on the basis of statistical data from the Federal State Statistics Service and the Network Readiness Index (NRI-2020), which consists of 62 different indicators, including indicators of the quality of life. A number of statistical indicators in the field of ICT, published by the Federal State Statistics Service annually, characterize the digitalization process in dynamics. The Network Readiness Index demonstrates the ability of national economy to develop in the context of the digital transformation. Russia ranks 48th out of 134 countries in the NRI. Based on the Index, the points of Russia's lagging behind the leading countries and the points of growth of network readiness are identified. The mutual influence of digitalization and quality of life is analysed at a quantitative level, and its interpretation is given at a qualitative level. Separate indicators of the NRI in the overall rating of countries characterize Russia's network readiness as being at a fairly high level, especially in the area of possessing resources and skills for effective use of the Internet by the population, business and government. This conclusion can be confirmed by the facts that Russia has its own national IT-services, competing with global foreign ones. Russia needs to make certain adjustments related to the lag in network readiness: to intensify investments in the digital infrastructure of the 5th generation, in the latest technologies, to improve the regulatory framework, the legislation on e-commerce. It is concluded that the relatively slow pace of the digitalization of Russian society, with the account of its possible negative socio-economic consequences, may rather be an advantage in adapting the population to the digital transformation.

The article discusses the key aspects of informatization of external state audit bodies in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are assessed as being at a fairly high level. However, the author notes that the analysis of large data sets is impossible due to their storage in various sources, including due to the poor quality of the data provided, inaccuracy, obsolescence, etc. Due to the huge amount of information that is subject to constant analysis in order to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of decisions made, an effective state audit cannot exist and develop without a highly effective management system based on digital technologies. The article analyzes the main results of the transformation of state audit for 2015-2019 and identifies the main directions for improving the activities of external state audit bodies based on the use of modern digital technologies. The author also draws conclusions and suggests ways to solve many problems in the field of informatization of state audit bodies, in particular the Accounts Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For further digital transformation of audit activities, it is proposed to increase the efficiency of the existing information system, as well as to create a qualitatively new unified digital transaction environment by integrating the database of state bodies.

This chapter considers technology-enhanced educational activities spanning along a significant period of time, and explores this context from a “quality of experience” perspective. Rather than addressing the design of technology, interface, or interactive contents for learning, our main focus is the exploration of the process-oriented, affective, socio-contextual issues involved in the design of prolonged workflows of e-learning activities. We propose a set of heuristics for designing e-learning experiences that can maintain learners’ engagement along the time and achieve durable, profound educational benefits in the educational context in which they take place, and are valuable for all involved stakeholders. We also pinpoint that involving learners as experience design partners is fundamental for these purposes. Our approach is exemplified by widely discussing two case studies that involve different technologies (shared 3D virtual worlds and online collaborative storytelling) in different educational contexts – high and primary schools.

Research background and hypothesis. Replete schedule of competitions and intense training are features of contemporary team sports. Athletes, especially the most involved ones, may not have enough time to recover. As a consequence, aggregated fatigue can manifest in some undesirable form and affect athlete’s performance and health.Research aim. The aim of this study was to evaluate the changes in heart rate recovery (HRR) and investigate possible relations with sport-specifi c measures of effi cacy in professional basketball players during competition season.Research methods. Eight male high-level basketball players (mean ± SD, body mass, 97.3 ± 11.33 kg; height 2.02 ± 0.067 m, and age 23 ± 3.12 years) were investigated. The same basketball specifi c exercise was replicated several times from September till April during the practice sessions in order to assess the personal trends of HRR. Heart rate monitoring was performed using POLAR TEAM SYSTEM. Investigated athletes were ranked retrospectively according to the total amount of minutes played and the coeffi cients of effi cacy. Research results. There were signifi cant differences in the trends of HRR between the investigated players. The most effective players showed decreasing trends of HRR in all cases of ranking.Discussion and conclusions. Research fi ndings have shown that the quality of heart rate recovery differs between basketball players of the same team and could be associated with sport-specifi c effi cacy and competition playing time. Keywords: adaptation, autonomic control, monitoring training.

The continuous modernization of the education system makes the problems of the quality of teacher training increasingly relevant. Moreover, the measures taken to improve the system of teacher education are largely confined to the introduction of new organizational and managerial mechanisms and practically do not affect the internal content and technological structure of the teacher training process.Modern pedagogical universities are constantly looking for innovative models of training teachers that will be able to solve non-standard social and professional tasks. However, recent studies in this area do not fully take into account the nature of pedagogical activity and conditions of its formation. Thus, the need arises for a special study of the processes and means of updating the content and technologies of teacher training in order to control the level of students’ professional competencies development, as required by educational and professional standards. This means the creation of a special educational system in a pedagogical university, which can provide a harmonious and synchronous mastering by future specialists of both subject knowledge and methods of pedagogical activity. The article provides a theoretical study aimed at identifying key patterns of designing a new content for teacher education, the basis of which is the formation of a future teacher as a subject of his own professional activity. The author describes the experience of using a subject-oriented model of education, implemented at Bashkir State Pedagogical University n.a. M. Akmulla. The effectiveness of this model is confirmed by the high level of students’ mastery of designing methods and constructing the educational process, as well as their positive experience in the implementation of educational activities.

A great number of cheese dairies and dairy industries in Greece are disposing their wastes, mainly cheese whey, either on land or in surface receivers, in large quantities creating a major environmental problem. A typical agricultural and pastoral provincial town of 70,000 inhabitants, Trikala, became the starting point of this research. A co-treatment of the urban sewage and the dairy wastes in the municipal treatment plant was recommended. The successful application of the above statement is based primarily on the pretreatment of the cheese dairies wastes. So far for cheese whey the recovery of the lactose serum in the contemporary central unit applying membrane technology has been suggested. As far as the wastewaters of the washing and refrigeration are concerned a pretreatment is required for the defatting in a grease trap, the grating, the adjustment of pH and the equalisation in an appropriate tank. Finally, this research has also focussed on the importance of membrane technology in improving the quality of milk and cheese production.

Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups.
